Hi Bret,
You can use WLC with Cisco ISE.
Here is the full deployment guide:

  • How are your sales?

Thinking about how successful my books have been. My most popular books gets about 5 downloads a day.
What are yours like? Trying to get a seonse of which topics are most successful to steer my next book

My paid book is just a vanity project with low expectations and I don't mind sharing experiences. After the first few weeks, it's settled into an average of 5 sales per week.
What's interesting (to me anyway) is that price doesn't seem to matter much. It was originally priced at 2.99 and around the first of July I lowered the price to .99 thinking it would sell more, but it didn't, sales remained the same. In the middle of August, I rased it to 1.99 and again, sales are about the same. I'm thinking I may as well put it back to 2.99 and probably will do that soon.
Also, around the first of July I released a free book that contains a couple advertisments for my paid book. This book averages about 8 downloads per day but some days as much as 20 and for the first time ever today it was zero. I wish there was a way to know how many, if any, sales of the paid book come from the ad in the free book, but there just isn't. It's apparent that it doesn't help much, if at all.
It could be a demographic issue. At least half the downloads of the free book are from non-US stores but almost all the paid book downloads are from the US store.
    More to come!

  • Multiple Leads per Account - how are your companies managing this?

    hi Experts
Question regarding accounts with multiple leads.  How are other companies handling this in CRM?  Currenlty, we have a two lead types, one captures customer first point of interest with our company and the second type represents all of the other interests the customer has with us.  We are trying to simply to one lead type but Marketing is having an issue with how to manage the first point of contact and the point of contact which triggers the sale.
Basically, I would like to hear from other experts on how their companies model their leads and manage them.
    Thanks,
    Chris

hi, you can add a customize flag field in your lead document to present the first contact. And you can make the sales staff to tick this flag, or add a customize logic in the order save BADI to check if the lead is the first document for this BP, it so the set the flag aotumactically in the BADI.

  • OLAP time dimension - how are the weeks allocated

Could someone please help me understand what logic Oracle uses when one makes use of Oracles OLAP time dimension based on weeks.
I am use Oracle OLAP 11.2
I have a Time dimension that has the following hierarchy:-
    YEAR
    QUARTER
    MONTH
    WEEK
For calculating the weeks ID I make use ISO week and year i.e. IYYYIW
For calculating the end date I use the following:- NEXT_DAY( l_date, 'MON' ) -1
i.e. the weeks end date is the Sunday.
According to me this is the required result.
Problem is that for some months there are 3 weeks allocated which makes no sense to me.
I cannot understand the logic used in allocating the weeks.
    The following is an example:-
the following weeks were allocated to the month February
    201306 (end date= 10-2-2013)
    201307 (end date= 17-2-2013)
    201308 (end date= 24-2-2013)
but the following week was allocated to January which makes no sence to me,
I would have expected it to be found in February
    201305 (end date= 3-2-2013)
Week 201309 (end date= 3-3-2013) was allocated to March which according to me is correct..
Another example is week *201030 (end date= 1-8-2010)* that is allocated to July while I would have expected that it should be August.
I would have thought that it uses the end date that is placed in the mapping to determine the month to place it in.
Could some one please explain what the reason for this could be.

Oracle OLAP model/design (in this case, at least) cannot compensate to coverup existing flaws in the relational model/design.
I dont think this is a valid hierarchy even considering relational model/design.
Weeks do not fit in below Months (calendar months).
You can force fit them by making Weeks the source of truth and making all Months logical Months like "Business Month", "Business Quarter", "Business Year" etc. which will be composed of whole weeks but differ significantly from the calendar definition of Month, Quarter, Year etc.
You are better off modeling time as composed of two hierarchies:
    H1: DAY -> MONTH -> QUARTER -> YEAR and
    H2: DAY -> WEEK
Alternately if you dont want to introduce DAY level (lower granularity), you can split up the Time dimension into 2 different dimensions. And also modify your star schema to add an additional time dimension key to fact table - one key pointing to WEEK and another pointing to MONTH (independently).
    TIME_MO: MONTH -> QUARTER -> YEAR
    TIME_WK: WEEK
The fact data will need to be split up to correctly identify the coirrect MONTH-WEEK combination for the relational record.
    E.g:
Fact table should have 2 dimension Fks for WK_KEY as well as MO_KEY so that a fact figure of 1000 evaluated over 7 days is split up into 300 from 29-31st of previous month and attached to MO_KEY of previous month and another record of 700 covering days from 1-4 and recorded/tied to same WK_KEY but next month (next month's MO_KEY).

  • How are thos week 15 mbps's doing?

As some of you may know from a recent post I made, last Friday I ordered a MBP 2.0 with western Spanish keyboard. Today I woke up to the good news that my MBP left shanghai and indeed it is a week 15 model. I can only cross my fingers now and hope for it to come without any issues.
Have any of you received your week 15 MBP yet? If so do you have any major issues such as loud whine, heat, case warping or any other problems?
As soon as I receive it I would like to run a hardware test but I do not yet have apple care. Does the MBP come with any diagnostic tools?
Is it true that apple changed logic boards after week twelve? My week 10 MBP had to be sent in for a logic board replacement the day after I received it, I really do not want to go through this again.
What other things should I check for as soon I receive it to make sure it is working as it should?
Thank you very much once again, all SERIOUS input is very much appreciated.

Examine the box contents to make certain you got everything that should be included in the order -- cables, Installation discs, etc.
Examine the MBP to make sure it doesn't have a bad hinge (bulging), the lid operates smoothly when opening and closing, then boot it up to make sure it isn't DOA.
Insert the Installation Disk 1 and reboot while holding down the D key. Choose the extended hardware test and run it a couple of times to check for any hardware errors.
If you use Migration Assistant to migrate from a previous OS X computer, take a look at the your Libraries (boot and user) and throw out 'junk' from obsolete programs and, especially, plugins that may no longer work with the Intel CPU.
I don't have the "whine" but if you do, you will find suggestions on this forum to eliminate or reduce the noise, including the Mirror widget, clicking on a picture using Photo Booth, then closing Photo Booth, etc. That may result in a few minutes less operating time when on battery power.
    Basically, enjoy it.

  • How Are Your Controllers Setup for BYOD/Guest and OEA

I am in the process of building a new wireless network. The network will include BYOD/Guest and OEA for teleworkers using ICE and MobileIron for MDM. In the past I have setup an anchor controller for guest, but for this design I have a cost constraint that prevents me from adding the anchor controller. I know the Cisco SE’s push to include an anchor controller in the DMZ for this design, but I wanted an unbiased opinion from folks who may have a similar design and how your controllers are setup. For this design can I deploy a BYOD/Guest and OEA network without a DMZ controller?
    Thanks in advance.

  • How are your app sales and download numbers?

Does anyone want to share their app sales and download numbers?
Perhaps with knowledge of which apps are doing well and which are not doing so well we can all better understand how to present our apps on the marketplace.
I'm yet to release a Windows 8 app, but I did have some success on Windows Phone 7 with a couple of hundred thousand downloads of free apps.

Our downloads suffer on Wed and Thur.
There do appear to be some intra week cycles going on.
Quite frankly, we've made no progress on the understanding 85% drop in download cliff we've gone over.  I don't wish that on any app developer.  Especially in this environment of lots of questions and no answers :(

  • Olympus E-1 users: How are your conversions?

I just bought Aperture for use with my Olympus E-1 RAW files. The Aperture default conversions really aren't bad, but just aren't as "photo-like" as camera jpegs from the E-1. In particular, I think the Aperture defaults have a magenta color shift.
Anyone else have an opinion? I would be willing to share files to demonstrate what I am talking about, but I don't think I can post them to this forum.

With version 1.1 the conversions are better but still have a hi-tech moire pattern to them in places (especially when the image is sharpened). (kind of like faint circuit boards) Apparently they do not print but I can see them on the monitor.
The early version of Aperture was so bad it was unusable. As for the colour shift have not noticed yet. The E1 is not quite compatable with Aperture unfortunately but hopefully will get better soon. The program offers a lot of other possibilites and advantages.
The best conversion I think are still with Olympus Studio and of course you can shoot right into the computer with it. The Mac version of Studio is not Universal so it does not tether with any of the Intel MAcs yet. I have my MAc Book Pro set up as a dual boot and am using the Studio program with Windows XP for now.

  • How are your iPhones shipping?

For those of you with preorders that have actually shipped (lucky you, by the way, and congratulations!), what does your reference number on the shipment look like? Some combo of your location and order number? Your order ref? Or just your order?  Shipping by FedEx or UPS? Wondering if I can try to discover my tracking number, if any, via the carrier.  Thanks!

My order is being shipped via FedEx, my tacking number is 12 digits long, but my purchase order number is a combination of my location followed by an underscore followed by  4 zeros and my order number.
    Example:  W123456_000091xxx
    Hope that helps

  • How are Sprint iPhone speeds in San Diego?

I heard about how many people experience very slow speeds on Sprint with the iPhone 4s. Is that a problem that affects most people in a given location, or is anything being done to fix it? How are your speeds with it, especially if you are in San Diego?
I heard that in some places it's ok and others it's very slow, and I heard where it's slow on the iPhone, Android phones on Sprint are ok, and I know the iPhone is just as fast as Android phones on Verizon, so I'm confused about what the problem is. Still, I am interested in an iPhone and am trying to figure out the scope of the problem.

Thanks slattum99. By any chance can you check speedtest.net's app to see what the speed is exactly? I'm guessing by "good" you mean around 1Mbps, but I ended up getting the iPhone with AT&T and that gets me around 4Mbps. Maybe by the time my contract is through Sprint's speeds will improve even more.

  • How is your intel IMac ?

    Hello all,
I'm soon to be leaving the MS world - I work with them daily as a system tech/MCSE and I have seen for yeard how they act/patches, etc....
I going to replace a 6 year old Gateway notebook which is runing ME and Linux. The notebook is really too SLOWWWW to run Linux, if not I would run Linux, and I can't do more upgrades.
So ---- I initially wanted an IMac once the Macbook came out I started thinking MB. But ----- I reas about alot of MB problems - run hot, random power off, white notebooks turn yellow....and I don't want to gamble.
How are your Intel IMac's ----- any problems - I'm not going to buy tomorrow, just want to get my options lined up. I may wait to see if the new Intel chips come on IMac.
    Please share your experiences.
    Thanks,
    Bob

I just purchased my iMac this past weekend so I haven't had a lot of time to mess around with it. But so far I think it's great. I have Office 2004 for Mac installed and Photoshop Elements 3 and while they are slower than on a G5, they don't seem slow. If I didn't know they were running through Rosetta, I would think the speed was just fine. The UB versions should really fly.
All the normal apps that came with the iMac are fast - Mail, Safari, iLife '06, etc. I can add iWork '06 to the list as well. I thought my upgraded G4 was fast but I can tell a big difference. Everything is just faster on the new iMac.
Regardless of whether you get a MacBook, MacBook Pro or iMac, you should get at least 1MB of RAM.

  • How are you guys powering your laptops in your cars ???

    Hi guys,
Although I have been using computers since the first pc appeared, I only recently decided to get a laptop.  I got a Lenovo B560 and have been absolutely delighted with it.
However, I am perplexed at the fact that there does not seem to be any easy options for using the laptop in the car on long trips etc ?  I do not see any type of 12 volt adapter listed in the accessories ??  A google search shows a few "generic" brand power converters but I have always been leary of using anything but oem type equipment.
Anyway, how are you guys powering your machines while mobile ??
    Thanks,

Your tip size is 2.5mm x 5.5mm,  19volts, and your current adapter is 90watts, right?
Your tip size is the same as what is in the y450, y460, y550p, y550, y560, and the y730.
The y730 is listed under the adapter listed above as taking the 4R 4319 tip, which is the same size as yours.
The tip, Pt. # 46 4319 is listed as an optional tip for the ultraslim adapter, Pt. #4IN8460, that tip has to be ordered separately from the adapter, it doesn't come with it.
Scroll to the bottom of the link for the adapter and you'll see the listing for the 19 volt tip, pt. #4R 4319.
All this is assuming that you have integrated graphics.

  • Hello gentlemen how are you. All your base are belong to us ????

My X server just shut down leaving me with a black screen full of messages, mostly relating to vlc.
In the middle of all this was the above message.
Do we have a developer with a sense of humour or is this something I should be worried about?
I never run the system as root although I usually leave a root terminal open.
    Bizarre.

This is ringing many, many bells with openbox.
    *scratches head*
    *greps openbox source*
    -> grep -r "your base are" *
    Binary file openbox/.libs/openbox matches
openbox/mainloop.c: fprintf(stderr, "How are you gentlemen? All your base are"
    Binary file openbox/openbox_openbox-mainloop.o matches
    ->
Hm, maybe someone decided to get all funny with their error messages like the OB devs did... or maybe it was the other way around.
The most likely cause is that this message is a SIGSEGV (segmentation fault) trap - a message that is printed to std{out|err} when the app crashes, since OB prints the AYB when it's crashed too.
You can actually segfault apps manually with `kill -SIGSEGV <PID>' or killall -SIGSEGV <processname>'

I used to upload any picture to Fbook which was in my Iphoto.  Now, I can only upload pictures from IPhoto which are a week old.  I'm unable to upload any recent pics from Iphoto to FBook - like pics I uploaded to I photo today.  They are in IPhoto, but once I'm on FB, and want to upload, they aren't available to choose.  Help?  Thanks!  Louise

    thanks for replying.
the booting and walking away and then attempting to browse and clean method is what i've been trying to do.  it won't let me drag and drop and just freezes up and goes to sleep after 2 minutes.  it's a never ending battle with very few results. which is why i questioned the method of just restoring the hd from a time machine backup.
do you think restoring the hd from time machine will resolve the issue with all pics on the desktop?  and everything will be as it was from the date i restore it from?  sorry, as you can tell, i'm not overly computer savvy.
i have a really old desktop mac...i can try connecting the two...how does one boot a mac in 'target mode'?
as for the iphoto cleaning and organizing issue...that is what i was trying to accomplish with importing them to a folder.  was going to browse and clean from there...but somehow imported to desktop which is what's complicating everything.  once i get them off the desktop i can work on the iphoto issue...which as i mentioned...i didn't take 45,000 pics...i've just taken about 4,500 over the last few years, and they are being duplicated in iphoto.  this was my attempt to clean it out entirely and start over.  it will basically be a lot of deleting.
one problem, seems to lead me to more...which is just my luck.  :-)
    thanks again, for your help.

  • Oracle Development Survey on Data Warehouses: How Does Yours Compare?

At the start of most data warehouse projects, or even during a project, I am sure you as customers try to find answers to the following questions to help you plan and manage your environments:
    * Where can I find trend and comparison information to help me plan for future growth of my data warehouse?
    * How many cpu's do other customers use per terabyte?
    * How many partitions are typically used in large tables? How many indexes?
    * How much should I allocate for memory for buffer cache?
    * How does my warehouse compare to others of similar and larger scale?
The data warehouse development team, here at Oracle, would like to help provide answers to these questions. However, to do this we need your help. If you have an existing data warehouse environment, we would like to obtain more technical information about your environment(s) by running a simple measurement script and returning the output files to us, here at Oracle. This will allow our developers to provide comprehensive documents that explain best practices and get a better understanding of which features our customers use the most. This will also allow you as Customers, to benchmark your environments compared to other customers’ environments.
From a Company perspective we are also interested to get feedback on features we have added to the database, are these features used, how are they used etc. For example we are keen to understand:
    * Which initialization parameters are most frequently used at what values?
    * How many Oracle data warehouses run on RAC? on single nodes?
    * Is there a trend one-way or the other, especially as data volumes increase?
    * Does this change with newer releases of the database?
All results from these scripts will be held confidential. No customers will be mentioned by name; only summaries and trends will be reported (e.g., “X percent of tables are partitioned and Y percent are indexed in data warehouses that are Z terabytes and larger in size.” or “X percent of Oracle9i and Y percent of Oracle10g data warehouses surveyed run RAC”). Results will be written up as a summarized report. Every participating customer will receive a copy of the report.
Terabyte and larger DW are the primary interest, but information on any data warehouse environment is useful. We would like to have as many customers as possible submit results, ideally by the end of this week. However, this will be an on going process so regular feedback after this week is extremely useful.
To help our developers and product management team please download and run the DW measurement script kit from OTN which is available from the following link:
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/bi/db/10g/dw_survey_0206.html
Please return the script outputs using the link shown on the above web page, see the FAQ section, or alternatively mail them directly to me: [email protected].

Does it actually compare the record being added to all the rows present in the table?
