Mi estatus dice No, yo se que sony puede hacerlo. he leido varios post en los que hay que mandar un correo y que personal de soporte llega por tu telefono, pero eso es en españa. Tambien he leido que se puede pagar a una pagina de 3ros. Me gustaria saber que opciones hay aqui en CR o, si hay algunas instrucciones. mi telefono no tiene simlock
Hi, I'm from Costa Rica. My status says No, I know that sony can do it. I have read several posts where you have to send an email and support staff arrives for your phone, but that's in Spain. I've also read that you can pay a 3rd party website. I would like to know what options there are here in CR, or if there are some instructions. my phone does not have simlock

Right click the hard drive icon and select Get Info. In the new pane, on the bottom, do this:
1. click the padlock, and authenticate with your password.
2. change Privilege to Read & Write - just click what is there and options will appear.

That's not up to Sony, contact your network/carrier, they will have to approve this and contact Sony, probably pay them too, so they can replace the motherboard.

Hi! How do you unlock Nokia Lumia 1020 w/c is locked with AT&T? I just bought mine in the US a couple weeks ago, but before I bought the phone I asked the AT&T Customer Number (1-800-331-0500) that I am a non-US resident and I bringing the phone to my Country. The lady on the other line told me there's no problem as long as I am buying the phone with no obligaation / pay in full price of the phone and call them again thay can unlock the phone. When I bought the phone and called again, the person on the other line told me he can't and the only way is thru website www.att.com/deviceunlock. Now, I've been trying to unlock my phone since Aug. 31 but no avail. So, are those people in AT&T customer service didn't really know what are they doing and if it is really in their hearth to be called a customer service representative? Because, if they knew what are they doing this should have not happen and I should not bought this phone. Now, when I blog thru their website somebody emailed me and telling me different policies again, here is the last email he sent me.

BOOTLOADER UNLOCK BUT PCC and SUS is also detecting is phone model(Neo V)

One of my friend unlocked bootloader in unofficial way.Right now he installing custom Roms at his will and wish.
The most remarkable thing is that PCC and SUS is also detecting is phone model(Neo V).He is downloading official rome by SUS and PCC.
Further after dialing *#*#7378423#*#*...he gets ...... Bootloader unlock allowed says Yes.
How is this possible??

There are some unofficial ways in which DRM files are not lost after unlocking the bootloader.
But unlocking in unofficial ways is not that easy, Moreover you could brick your device permanently if anything goes wrong

Yes, contact the carrier the iPhone is locked to.
Only they can officially unlock the iPhone and if you qualify. No one else.

If it's the four digit sim lock code:
You need to contact your network operator for a PUK code.
If it's the five digit phone lock code:
You need to contact a nokia care point, you cannot unlock it yourself.

Xperia Ray bootloader unlock problem

I am having problems unlocking my bootloader. My Ray tells me "Bootloader Unlock Status Allowed: Yes", but I have encountered some weird problems. When I go through the official Sony method, the command prompt tells me it did not unlock it because it was already unlocked. But when I connect to Emma, it is grayed out and says it's locked. PC Companion still works. When I use Xperia Flashtool to unlock the bootloader I get a message that says it can't be officially unlocked. I couldn't figure out what was up with it so I tried to proceed with installing a ROM, flashed the boot.img with Xperia Flashtool, rebooted and hit volume down over and over to enter CWM, but it doesn't work, just sits at the Sony logo. Does anyone have any ideas or advice on how to proceed? Thanks in advance for any help.

How to unlock my external hard drive

My external hard drive is locked and I don'y know how to unlock it!
It says I'm only allowed to read it. (bottom)

Your drive is formatted NTFS, which is a format used by Windows PCs.
If it is a brand-new drive, you should reformat it using Disk Utility (in your Applications/Utilities folder) - use the Erase tab to reformat it as "Mac OS Extended" format. Note that this will erase any existing files, so if there are files you need, copy them off to another location first.

I have exactly the same problem.
I'm a little peed-off with Microsoft on this. The original wireless controller I have doesn't work either since the cable I'm using is 'just' the charge and play cable, so a direct connection to my Mac won't work with this cable. It's a cable for god's sake. Why on EARTH put any limitations on this!?!?
Next I learn I need an additional USB wireless receiver from Microsoft to get my original 360 controller to talk to my Mac. As I certainly don't want to fork any more microsoft dollars on this, this is not an option.
Next I think, yes! I have a MadCatz 360 wired USB controller. This should surely do the trick just plugging it in and the way I go. But oh no, for some reason I plug my MadCatz Xbox360 controller in, it flashes a few times then switches off and can't be turned on again.
The System Profiles recognizes it as a MadCatz 360 device controller but that is about it, but the ontroller software I download for the System Prefs (360Controller, USBOverdrive etc) don't even recognize the controller as being plugged in.
What the **** Is The Microsoft Deal with all of this!?!?
PS: Oh, and I forgot to mention, there are No drivers for device 4716 that I can find on the MadCatz website, or am I going blind?
