how to active this with the new apple id ?

Hi If iPhone is locked to other Apple ID only the person you who knows the Apple ID can use iPhone. Ask for your money back you cannot use this iPhone without the Apple ID. Cheers Brian

How can I use Iphone 4 as an mp3 player without a sim card until I get one? I just bought the phone and each time I try to switch it on to use the mp3 player, I cannot. It asks me to insert a sim card and I don't have a sim card yet. I was thinking I could use the mp3 player function of my phone until I buy a sim card.

Thank you, I understand, yeah, I knew that, my phone is factory unlocked and I am going home, which is obviously not in the States and I am thinking of buying a local carrier there. However, I still have 2 weeks before I leave and cannnot wait to start using my Iphone 4. I thought at least I could use the mp3 player function. If it is actually an exchange calendar, and it's not linked to a specific user, it should be possible to simply add the exchange account to each device in question and have that exchange account only sync the calendar. Then every user has access to the same calendar and can add/edit entries to the calendar as needed.
The same would apply if it were a Google calendar added via Exchange.
If the calendar is not actually on Exchange, but rather added from an outside source, it will depend on that outside source where the calendar originates.

With the latest build of GarageBand on the device, move to the My Songs view, tap the Edit button at top right, select the shaking song you want to export, then tap the sharing arrow symbol at top left, tap iTunes, then GarageBand.
Connect the device to iTunes, select it in the left-hand column, then select the Apps tab. You should find the exported file in the File Sharing area of the GarageBand app and from there you can copy it to your computer, then open it with the GarageBand application.
