How can change my Master Password. I am running OS X 10.8.5

I fear that my Password may have been compromised while working with a technical expert to set up an air printer. How can I change my Master password. I am not very computer savvy, but need to feel secure.

If FileVault isn't enabled, there is no Master Password. If you forgot it, you're in trouble. If you want to change it, disable and re-enable FileVault, then choose a new password. If you want to change you administrator / user password, follow the directions above.

We have created so many mappings(more than 200) in owb 11g and deployed them into production and all are running without any issues.
Now we are in big problem and the reason is our internal team is asking us to use the new user and password.
Please let me know what are the best possible ways to change and in which places we need to make changes.

Here are the steps you need to foloow:
1)Unregister the location that is currently associated with the module that has the mappings
2)Edit the location information in the designcenter and change it to reflect the new values
3)Register the location again with the control center and redeploy the maps

We are having a bit of trouble getting Solution Manager about initial Master password at the SAPinst.
I have done install the Solution Manager 7.0 SR3.
However, after installation we have to change the password when used at SAPinst for our company security problem.

Since a Solution Manager is a double stack installation (ABAP + Java) and has the UME configured that the passwords in the ABAP are used you can change (most of) them in ABAP.
HOWEVER: Those passwords are used on different places and you would need to check the specific application section where they are used (WebDynpro connections, JCo etc.)

The password used to log in to a user account remotely is the same as you would use to log into it locally. You can also use your Apple ID, so try that.

How do I change my master password when the current password is to press enter (with nothing in the password blank)?

Whenever I try and change my master password I can not manage to. I got a new hard drive and the person at the apple store told me that the password was to just press enter (with nothing in password blank), and that I would be able to change it. Everytime I try and change the master password it says, "incorrect password" under the current master password blank. It has been awhile since then and I have moved so I can not go back there and get them to figure it out. So the question is, Is there anyway to change it without wiping my entire hard drive and starting over?

Reset your User Account Password for Mountain Lion with the Help of Recovery HD, Go through the steps below.
> Restart the Mac and hold down Command-R to boot into Mountain Lion’s Recovery HD partition.
> From the menu choose Utilities > Terminal, and in Terminal type resetpassword and press Return.
> A Reset Password window appears so select your Macintosh HD and below that from the drop down menu select your user account for which you want to Reset the Password and then below that Enter your New Password, Confirm New Password and Password Hint and then Click on Save.
> Click on the Apple Logo from the Menu bar and Restart your Mac.
> Now at the Login Select your User Account and Enter your New Password
> When you get a pop up for Keychain Access, select Create New Keychain and Continue.

there are three people in my house that all use the same laptop to access the internet and have all been using the save passwords feature... i have just discovered that in the security preference any of us can see the others passwords. the only way i can see of hiding this is with a master password but as we would all need to know the master password that wouldnt really work. how can i hide everyones passwords from everyone else?

The notifcation 'do you want Firefox to remember the password for ... on ... used to appear as a horizontal bar at the top of the page, below the tabs.
It now covers part of the top left of the page as a type of 'call-out'. I want to remember passwords for certain sites and continue to see the reminder but I don't want it to hide part of the page. This is worse in my netbook as the screen is relatively small so the proportion of the page obscured is relatively high. In which version did it change? Many thanks for your suggestion. I have tried as you suggest and clicking the 'key' icon does re-open the password reminder notice but clicking the key icon again doesn't close it. Instead to close the password reminder you have to click and drag the cursor off the key icon. I was hoping for a way of reverting to the horizontal bar.
