How to display the link dynamically on placing the cursor on a field?
Hello Experts,
I have a requirement like, if i place the cursor on the prospect name in the details window of opportunity, prospects' email id should appear as a link. (Example: as tool tip appears when we place cursor on a field). I should be able to click on that email id to navigate from opportunity window to compose mail window.

But right now out of time to design it in a beautiful big-post-style.
So I'll just give you some ideas and later I'll publish detail scenario for this.
1. First of all you need to put a javascript function in your view htm page and include jquery and cluetip in it too as described in mentioned blog.
2. Then you need to create your own bsp element (tag) which will create a link with attributes onmouseover and rel since there is no standard element with such attributes. For this create your own bsp extension and copy bsp element Link from THTMLB bsp extension into it (enharite classes from thtmlb:link too). Then add two attributes 'rel' and 'onmouseover' to z-element and redefine DO_AT_BEGINNING method of element handler class:

3. Then you need to implement chtmlb form iterator interface in some class. Good place is your view controller class. Put the IF_CHTMLB_FORM_ITERATOR on its interface tab. And implement the only method it has IF_CHTMLB_FORM_ITERATOR~RENDER_CELL_START (remember that this is a quick example so you need to adjust the code to your needs):

4. Set chtmlb form iterator for your page.

I have set the set the profile options at user level :
1. Personalize Self Service Page Defn and 2)Region Links 3) Fnd Diagnostics
I can see the links 'Personalize Page' & 'About this Page' and 'region links' for all the responsibilities like isupplier , iexpenses..etc
except for the responsibility "Oracle Installed Base User"
What could be the reason?
Is it restricted by default? how to find out the page definition for "Oracle Installed Base User" pages?

I have a tableView displaying a list of contacts from a Cloud Database. After selecting a contact, I push to a programmatically created MKMapView. Then I display the initial region (the view) that includes the users current location (starting point) and their selected destination (end point).
Now I want to display annotations (as described in the Location Awareness Programming Guide) that displays polylines which will represent the turn-by-turn navigation IN MY OWN APPLICATION, and not in the Map App currently used in IOS6.
Due to licensing and its becoming depricated in IOS 6, I do not want to get routing data from the Google Maps API. How do I get routing data from the IOS 6 Map App (powered by TomTom) so I can display the point-to-point annotations (turn-by-turn navigation) without leaving my own application?
I checked out Stack Overflow and other forums which basically left me with the impression that this is not possible. I also checked out the TomTom iPhone Mobile SDK User Guide from the TomTom Developer Portal and am still confused. It must be possible to retrieve routes, since the Map App can display turn-by-turn directions. How can I retrieve turn-by-turn data that I may display as a route within my own application?Thanks Michael. I do have progress of a sort though, as a test I took a separate test PC and put a clean install of Win7 on and loaded up the CMS software (it worked perfectly) and then took the version of ole32.dll off that machine and put it onto the computer I had built
for her (using Linux) and...
got a new error code. Darn I was so sure I had found a clever solution this time lol.
Anyway now when the CMS fails it gives me a similar error but the offending module is "ntdll.dll" sooo... I tried taking the "working" version of ntdll.dll from the test box and moving it over (making sure to back up the existing ones
first so I could put them back if needed) to her new PC and the PC would not boot.
It seems to want the original versions of a few Dynamic Link Libraries and if I could somehow give it those while not breaking Win7 it should theoretically work seeing as it no longer errors with ole32.dll.
ntdll.dll however seems necessary for Win7 to boot.
So what I am wondering now is:
Is there some way to have both versions of the DLL file in the system32 folder (bypassing the "cannot have two files with the exact same name in the same folder" thing) or rename the original DLL's something else and somehow make the CMS look for
the new named versions so the system has the updated DLL's it needs to boot/run and the CMS has the old ones it wants to run or is there someway to have a self contained install of the CMS, say on a USB flash drive and give it it's own E:/windows/system32/needed
dll's path to the files it needs?
Willing to try any other options or settings you may have come up with as well.

How to display related links iview in content area?

I have created Related links, but they are opening in a separate windows even though I have set the attribute of the iviews to "open in portal content area".
Please let me know how I can display the iviews of the Related links in the content area.

I don't think you have changed the property at the right place.
Open the iview for which related link is added. Now from the drop down box at the top right select Related Link. The related link editor will open which will show the related link iview. Select the iview and click the EDIT button at the bottom. The related link iview will open. Now Change the "Launch in new WIndow" property.
When you add an iview as reletd link to some other iview, a delta link is created and added to the iview.
This will solve ur problem.

I can recommend you go through the tutorial called How Tou2026 Integrate ADOBE form on WebdynPro for ABAP and Deploy it on portal by Bhawanidutt Dabral. Ignore the fact it uses WD, I have tried the proposed solution how to load in the picture on a simple offline/ print form. Look around for this tutorial.
It propose to use the FM as follows:

2, Drag and drop that parameter into your report title.
3, Pass the value(sort value) dynamically from your application,
4, Cheers..
Other wise Try with Dataset, create a dataset and fill thev alue into that.. Then set the data source from CR designer. and darg and drop that data column into the report.
