If you are trying to change the sender name on your iCloud email (the name that appears on the From: line), you do this by going to icloud.com, sign into your account, open Mail, click the gear shaped icon on the bottom left and choose Preferences, go to the Accounts tab and enter the name you want to use in the Full Name field and click Done. Then quit Mail on your Mac and re-open it. Your new From name should now appear in the drop-down list when you compose a new email.
If you are trying to change the name associated with your iCloud ID, go to https://appleid.apple.com to manage your ID, then change the Your Name field on the Name, ID and Email address section.

Mirroring won't fill the TV screen. The iPad has an aspect ratio of 4:3 and the iPhone 4S or prior an aspect ratio of 3:2, neither of these will fit exactly into a TV screen which as an aspect ratio of 16:9. The Apple TV will not zoom the mirrored image, because it may well cut off information which is situated at the top or bottom of the screen.
You may wish to try each of the settings in ‘Settings > Audio & Video > Adjust for AirPlay overscan’ for the best setting that suits you.

I created a table with columns 'City,State,C_fullname,S_fullname' and coded in
Post_text_item trigger using select statements,I can only get the first full name by 'NY',then press space,type in US,press enter,Forms raises a unhandled exception,doesn't display 'United States'.

One thing you could try which may not be EXACTLY what you want but would be almost no effort is to create and LOV with all of the States, assign that LOV to the text field and on the text field set the Validate LOV property to YES.
Then if you type Cal and then return you get CALIFORNIA. If you type New and return you get a list of New York, New Jersey....
It may give you most of what you want with no effort.

Hi,
How can I edit the slide names in my TOC? Slide 1, 2, 3, etc is not very informative. I have gone into slide properties and added labels, but that has not updated the TOC slide names.

PLSQL - how cani get folders names that much my select queries in plsql

Hello.
Please can somebody help me.
i am writing a procedure that access data from some tables. when i get data in any field lets say select Name From Users e.i Name.
i want to use the value in that field to search for a folder some where in my drive C; that bears the same name in the folders.
eg.
if data found and exist in Table.Name.
search for folder using PLSQL in the directories that has the same name as the value in Table.Name.
just like searching for pictures using the picture id in tables and looking for them in some folders. how can i do this is PLSQL.

OK. So just to be crystal clear, when you say "same server," you mean that the database server is also the server where all these directories have been created. Is that correct?
Do you have Oracle directory objects (i.e. CREATE DIRECTORY) that reference the directories you are trying to use?
i have already created a directory that write logs to a particular folder anytime i move data.You have created an operating system directory? An Oracle directory object? Both? Neither?
A directory does not write logs. So I'm guessing that you mean that you have code that writes data to a file via UTL_FILE using an Oracle directory object mapped to an operating system directory as a result of calling a stored procedure. Is that the case? If you already understand how UTL_FILE works, how to create and manage Oracle directories, how to read and write data from files, can you be a bit more specific about the particular problems you are having copying files from one directory to another?

How to Edit document names in iBook

Some documents that I import to iBook have names that are meaningless to me, e.g. Qymmbf-Nz.pdf. How can I edit them to something I can relate to?

Also, there is no Devices section until I connect my iPad.
I have found a work-around. I connected my iPad, re-downloaded the Documents in question from the web (all PDFs) renamed them to my liking, deleted the documents in my iTunes-Devices-iPad list, dragged the renamed documents into the that same window and they immediately synced with the iPad. All is well. But surely this should not have to be the procedure.

the values from our column are from database , then how can we edit the data(values) in that columnErrr..Ohkk. There are 3 methods you can do this:
1) Correct the spelling in underlying DB table by updating the column name (check all the references) - Most Recommended
2) In case you don't want to go for 1st option, you can remove the default legend option in Pie Chart by setting it to none and ADD a new Legend View to this Chart View with correct names
3) Change the fx of that column in criteria like
case when col = 'abd' then 'abc' else col end
All above will solve your problem....

How to show full name of user in crystal report

Hi. I am using Crystal Report 2008. I need to show full name (first name and last name) of the user logged in. Currently I am using "currentceusername" but it shows the user id that a user uses to login.
Is there any way to show the full name of the user in crystal report?

Not you H4... Can I suggest if someone replies to actually add something of value!!!!
Cr does not have the ability to query your AD Server. What you would have to do is use a AD query tool or Export Option and export the user info from the log on ID into a Excel or an Access table or something CR could report off of. Then you can add a subreport to get the name from the ID and insert it into the main report.
Check with your IT department, they should have tools to get the info. I'm not sure if there is a DB connector that would allow you to query the AD server directly but if there is one and it supports ODBC then you can use that as your subreport Data connection.
Typically names do not change that often so rather than running the Query every time the report is generated it would be better to export the info to a text type file and simply use it for your report. IT can put a rule on to export if the Names change.

I already uploaded his cds to my iTunes account, but when I connected the new iPod to my Mac to put his music on it, the program automatically named his iPod with MY name. I want to differentiate it from my iPod Nano, but it never gave me a chance to give his iPod his name instead of mine. He will not have an iTunes account; I will handle uploading his music and managing his iPod for him, but I need it to set up under his name, not mine. Father's macbook now mine. How can I change name, admin, etc without losing apps and programs?

Hello.
My father bought a Macbook Pro 15' retina 8Gb ram 256Gb SSD about 2 months ago.
He set it up, bought many apps and programs but eventually got bored of it and gave it to me.
He is not a Mac enthusiast and thought he should give it a try but he didn't stick to it.
I'm not a Mac enthusiast either, but a good notebook is an ok present so I took it.
I installed some programs and stuff, tried to learn how it works (I have no idea, I was always using windows), and I think I like it.
However, the MacBook has my father's name, my father is the admin, and all the apps programs etc the he and I bought and installed are in his account.
I have his password though. That's how I've been using it the whole time.
How can I change the MacBook to make it "my own"?
I have an apple ID cause I have an iPhone etc but I'm sure just changing that under the admin page won't be enough.
Will I lose the apps my father bought?
Will I have to reinstall all the programs that I installed while I was using the MacBook? For example will photoshop and capture nx be deleted as if I was formatting a pc and I will have to install them again?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
PS. MacBook is now running Mavericks OS X 10.9.4 and I want to upgrade.
But first I want to make myself the "owner" to start getting things in the right order.

How to change "Full Name" in iCloud IMAP mail account information

Brand new to this forum so please excuse any newbieisms. I am running OS X 10.7.5 I created an iCloud IMAP mail account so that I can sync with my iPhone.
Windows Live is my original mail account. All is good except the "Full Name" in "Accounts" preferernces is somehow incorrect. When I send mail frm my Mac, this incorrect name shows in the "From" field. Mail sent from my iPhone shows my correct name as it appears in my phone cloud settings. The name doesn't sync in iCloud. All other syncing is good. When I try to change it manually in my Mac mail preferences, I get the message "the"Incoming Mail Server" field can not be empty" when I try to save the changes. The aforementioned field is not empty and is in fact greyed out as this was self populated upon creation of the account. I can't even change the case sensitivity of the name or I get the message. As a stop gap I have created an alias to send mail with, but would like a proper fix. Any ideas?

If you created a new iCloud account it would have a new associated iCloud email account. You wouldn't be able to move your current @icloud.com address to the new account.
Just to double-check, after quitting (Command-Q) and re-opening Mail, did you start an new message and click the down-arrow next to From to see if the new sender name was available from the drop-down list (see image below)? If so, you might try signing out of iCloud entirely. To do this, go to System Preferences>iCloud, click Sign Out, choose Delete at all of the prompts, restart your Mac, then sign back in and test Mail again. (This deletes the account and your iCloud data from your Mac, but not from iCloud. Your iCloud data will reappear on your Mac when you sign back in.)

How to hide full name in the "to" box of email...

I have several "private" people on my mailing lists who do NOT want their full name showing up in the "to field" when I send them email. I have tried everything short of simply deleting their last names from my address book and nothing has worked. Is there a way to specify that Mail MUST use their nickname instead of their full name when I send them email? Anybody know?

A different solution would be to BCC them; their names and addresses won't be available to anyone but you. You can even BCC to the entire mailing list - in some cases you'll have to provide a single To address, such as your own, to get the mail to send. It effectively hides the names and addresses of the people in your mailing list.
(Well, this works prior to Tiger and I doubt they've taken the ability away. Good luck.)

its become in one monitor and other monitor become blank
but it seems usefull that other monitor show another app in fullscreen mode
how can i do this ?

Sorry to say, but it is designed to work that way.
The only way around it that I know of is, not to use full-screen but just fill the screen with the application that you are using.
