How can get Dreamweaver to stop error message: an ftp error has occurred- cannot connect to host?
Dreamweaver is locking me out when I try to connect to the host via ftp. I get the error message: "An ftp error has occurred - cannot make connection to host". This error message started yesterday when I used the wrong host ftp address too many times. I have since received the correct ftp address from my website host, but the system won't even let me log in...it just gives me that error message when I click the connection button on the panel. My website host recommends that I uninstall Dreamweaver and re-install it again. My concern is, if I un-install the Dreamweaver app, which I downloaded from the Cloud, will the Cloud know I've un-installed Dreamweaver and allow me to download it again? Please help.

First try killing Words. When on the home screen double press the HOME button, then swipe the screen image of Words up to close it.

I think I worked out a solution given my equipment. I was looking around on other forums and I found the following post concerning the ability for iPhone 4S to be on 3G and wifi simultaneously.
"I know this thread is old and op may have discovered the answer already. However, I am posting this just in case someone else might be looking for a solution.
The solution does not require any additional software nor require a jailbreak.
All you need to accomplish this is already built into every iPhone and iPad with 3G.
Connect to your wifi and write down the IP address your router assigned you. Then, select static tab instead of DHCP and fill in the IP address your DHCP server assigned to your iPad. Next, fill in the subnet mask but leave the rest of the fields empty.
You now have access to your wifi as well as 3G.
I ran into this issue when I wanted to use live traffic using 3G for my iPad's GPS and still connect to my GoFlex Satellite using wifi. It works extremely well."
AFter configuring my phone to the router, as mentioned above, I connected my Apple TV to the same router. Using the mirroring option I was able to airplay Netflix, You Tube and Flixster flawlessly from my phone to the big screen. Direct TV and HBO GO did not work however.
I Then tried to access items directly from Apple TV thinking that it could use the data from my phone. I was wrong. So all in all I'm able to stream about half of my movie entertainment applications given my situation. I'm pleased. -
When I saw this, I clicked on “Check Browser Capability” and I got this result, showing several identical red flags: “• 47 Extra Whitespace in List Links Bug (If a link with display: block and no explicit dimensions is inside a list item, any spaces or linebreaks that follow the list item in the code will cause extra whitespace to appear in the browser. Affects: Internet Explorer 6.0. Likelihood: Very Likely.”
I should add that no adjustments were made to the site before it stopped working. Is there a bad code that might have gone in during an automatic update?It's pretty unlikely that a code issue (what that check compatibility is looking at) would cause your FTP to stop functioning. That compatibility tester is essentially outdated junk anyway. The 6 people left on the planet that still use IE6 won't mind if your site doesn't look right, nothing does to them.
It's not unusual for certain hosting companies, GoDaddy is a good example, to simply lose your FTP credentials after a server update, which would cause the FTP error you are seeing.
Check with your hosting company and verify your FTP settings are correct. -
How can get rid of the automatic message in peoples email when they submit a form?
I keep getting this message automatically appearing in peoples email browser when they have filled out my form and click submit:
Form Returned: SS Premium Listing Upgrade Application[3].pdf
Instructions to add this form to a data set:
1. Double-click the attachment.
2. Acrobat will prompt you to select a data set.
I am happy to see this at my end, but don't want it to pop up in their email body copy before they send the email back to me. I created the form using Acrobat version 8.1.2. Everything else works fine. Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated.I have the exact same question as Dave here. I see this is an old thread and hope this will revive it. I don't understand Jon's response, except to say that his assessment of what happened seems wrong. I have posted a livecycle form that I am asking people to fill out and "submit". When they hit "submit", an email is generated that is sent to me. For some folks the email with the data attachment is sent right to their outbox and it is sent to me next time they send email. They aren't likely to see the body copy with the "Instructions" and so the fact that this copy will make no sense them is mute. However, for some people it generates an email that immediately opens up with "Instructions" in the body. Of course the instructions are for me and will make no sense to the person filling out the form. They are confused by this body copy because they think it is for them, and I don't need it.
I'd really like to change this copy or delete it at least.
Any thoughts?

I am currently using windows 8.1 and also have a norton antiviurs software installed.
Have you disabled your Windows Firewall?
You should also download and install (free) Filezilla, and see it it works for you.
Always good to have a backup FTP program.
I assume you have toggles the active/passive etc. settings -
Error message: internal data error
Dreamweaver CS5 worked perfectly until this morning, when I keep getting error message: An FTP error encountered, cannot link to host. Encountered an internal data error. What's happening?
The full error message reads: “An FTP error occurred - cannot make connection to host. Dreamweaver encountered an internal data error. Please try the operation again.”
I called Network Solutions, who is the host. I opened the Site/Manage site/hiddengardensteps/edit and found the material. I then clicked the “servers” which gave me a box with FTP server and password. The Network Solutions techies told me to change the password, which I did, and the second NS person told me to wait 15 min - 4 hours for the syncing to work.
I get the same error massage now for bikenfly.org which is hosted by Earthlink. What to do?

I just got a new iPad air and also own an iPhone 5. I'm receiving most of my text messages on the iPhone, but some are now also showing up on my iPad. I don't want them on my iPad, any suggestions on how to get them to stop showing up n my iPad?
Go to settings>messages>send and receive at>you can be reached by iMessages at> Uncheck your phone number and you can select your Apple ID emal address if you want to use that for messages.

ThanksIf you still have an issue you may have to see about using the iTunes version (application) included with Snow Leopard 10.6 from the installer or an another one if available online, and see if that will install.
Sometimes you may have uninstall the bits left in your system by the earlier (or later) iTunes installers; as they all leave a trace and these can stop a different version of iTunes from being installed.
