How can I access 6534 onboard timers for software triggering with LabView?

I want to access the internal timers (with a VI?), so I can delay data output of the board (high precision timing, no system clock)?

I am not sure that I totally understand your question. Do you want to replace the timing that the operating system provides LabVIEW with the timebase available on the NI 6534? If so, this is not going to be possible. If I have misunderstood your question, let me know.

i want to retrive a Properties file from WL-7 app installed location like :bea/home/externalized.properties
now i want to use this properties file throgh out the application. if any property is changed in "externalized.properties" that could be reflect dynamically in my code.
So my requirement is :
The current implementaion is using the JNLP down load the required code which contains the properties in .jar files, i have around 500 properties which are embedded in differnet .jar files with differnt property name. So i want to make all 500 properties to get out side from the jar files. and keep that consolidated properties in a single location and access it dynamically after deployed my ear file in wl7 app server.
my application is implemented in SWING and EJB now i want to create an ear file which can be deployed any instance or cluster of WL7 app server.
My Q:
1. How can i access properties file through JNLP? (not a single property, want to access all properties in externalized.properties)
2. is thare any known issue with SUN to load properties file through JNLP?

My question is Still not answered,
see infact i have different type of environments to launch my application.
infact my weblogic is deployed at remote location whihch is installed in linux,
code is exist in our local system.
At the time of code build for my local system i'm not able to get the properties from remote WL server,
so at the time of code compilation and making the EAR file i'm not having this externalized properties file in newly generated EAR file.
so once i copied my EAR in to WL7 cluster and i'm running the application using startAdminserver.sh, in this script file i'm defining the
java -DexternalizedProperty=$WL_HOME/externalizedProperty.properties so now i'm able to get this properties to 'externalizedProperty"
But when i download my application required jars, at this time i does not having the property file in my downloaded JAR files.
So i want to access the remote properties file in suh sistuation.
now i'm runnig the application at my local side to launch and Server side as well.
So i have 2 runtimes 1 is my local and another is my server. In this case using "-DexternalizedProperty" i'm able to get this in server side,
once control is come to local system it is not able to find this "-DexternalizedProperty" [externalizedProperty].

Do you recall what version you had before, i.e., 6.0.1 or 3.6.22?
There's no easy way to peel off an update. You could reinstall an earlier version over what you have, but it might be faster to run a "portable" version of Firefox from a USB flash drive for those sites that are not compatible on an emergency basis.

How can 10 TFN's be used for 80+ triggers in uccx ?

I have a set of 10 TFN's and i cant make for any more TFN, but ihave 80 + applicatons for which i have per trigger per application.

Let's make this a simple problem by stating that we only have 1 TFN and 2 Applications/Triggers. How can we leverage our 1 TFN to server to triggers?
Option 1: TFN allocation percentages. You can configure your TFN in the service provider cloud to allocate each DID/DNIS 50%/50%.
Option 2: TFN points to the first Trigger, and it asks the caller to make a selection or stay on the line. If they make a selection you perform a Call Redirect in the script to the other Trigger. E.g., Press 8 to speak to a Sales associate, otherwise stay on the line for self service.
Option 3: Create a thrid Trigger to proxy incoming calls, and force the caller to make a selection, leveraging the Call Redirect step in the script to steer the calls to the proper Triggers. E.g., For Sales Pharmacy, press 1, for medical records, press 2, etc.
If you just increase the number of TFN's and Triggers, then the solutions stay the same, but you have to figure out which option works best for any given scenario. You may find that a mix of these options are needed to solve the business case at hand.

would likely mean you could see about as much as the camera from where you were standing
a mifi or otherwise something which bridge a lan to the internet would work
make sure the camera have a webserver in it and then you can see it from any web browser where you put in the login and password

and i create the assignment to a (equipment-)class with the BAPI BAPI_OBJCL_CREATE.
When I use another BAPI BAPI_EQUI_GETDETAIL I get all information to the equipment,
but I don't get the information to wich class is it assigned.
How can I get this ?

As Keshav mentioned you can get the classification data by using BAPI_OBJCL_GETDETAIL
you have to pass the following parameters to it.
CALL FUNCTION 'BAPI_OBJCL_GETDETAIL'
EXPORTING
objectkey = equipment no in your case

classnum = Class Name
classtype = Class Type

How can I make a projection of an image (diaporama) with LabView?

Hi, I would like to project an image (or better a matrix stored in a table) on a second screen (or videoprojector, or whatever) connected to the computer. In two words I would like to do what PowerPoint does by pressing on "diaporama".
Does somebody knows if that is possible with LabView (without scrolling the LabView window on the second screen since that doesn't make a FULL SCREEN projection of the image)?

I am not sure I understand exactly what you are trying to do as I never use PowerPoint.
At NIWeek in 1999 (if I recall correctly) David Moore gave a presentation that used a program he wrote entirely in LV.
I have a program which runs a slide show on a second monitor (projector). All the controls are on the main screen and the display on the second monitor consists of a simple subVI with a picture indicator sized to fit the projector window. The subVI keeps its front panel open and gets called every time the image updates.
This is a work in progress and has not yet been used in public.

it is important to have right information on the hardware you are using. in particular which is your camera type (FireWire, analogic, Camera Link, GigaEthernet, USB) and if you have the drivers of your image acquisition board.
Have you got LabVIEW Development System only? Which version? Do you have others NI LabVIEW Modules or NI Softwares (for instance NI Vision)?

How can I access file on a non-booting SSD with terminal?

I have a new MacBook air that hangs on boot-up. I can restore from a Time Machine back up, but it is a day old and I would like to recover work I did today off the hard drive before restoring, if possible. Apple support tells me that this should be possible using Terminal, but was not able/allowed to tell me how to do this and referred me to the communities. As usual, timing is miserable as I leave on a 3-week business trip in a few hours and need my laptop and files. Can anyone help me to do this?

First, you need to be able to boot from the Recovery HD:
Boot Using Command+R keys:
1. Restart the computer.
2. Immediately after the chime press and hold down the
"COMMAND" and the "R" keys together.
3. Release the keys when the Utilities Menu appears.
Once at the Utilities Menu select Terminal from the Utilities menu in the screen's menubar. Now, you need to know where these new files are located. You move to any location using the 'cd' command such as cd /Users/user_name/Documents, then press RETURN. Replace user_name with your actual username. Next you need to do a directory listing to see if your files are in that location, Documents. Use ls -al to do a directory listing of the files and folders in Documents. If you find your new files there, then connect an external drive or flash drive. You will need to know the name you have assigned to this drive. It needs to be already formatted. Copy your files using cp /Documents/filename /Volumes/volname/filename. Replace volname and filename with those that apply. Press RETURN.
Or take it to your local Apple Store and see if they can do the chore for you.

How can I open another iCloud account for each devices with the same apple id

my family has 2 iPhones 1 iPad 1 Macbook and 1 iMac. I had all the devices set up with one iCloud under 1 Apple ID. Now things are getting so mixed up with pictures, videos, calendar, notes and reminders etc. 1 iPhone is also unable to sync due to not having enough storage for all our devices. Someone from Genius Bar said we can have iCloud for each device under 1 Apple ID. I backed up all pics. videos notes important docs to my iMac and MacBook then I turned off all iCloud in all of the devices now I need help to create a new iCloud account at least for my 3 mobile devices to end all the confusion. every time I try to click the button "set up iCloud on this device" I always go back to apple site with step by step by step instruction but I keep going around in a loop. Please help

I'm not sure what they told your at the Apple store, but each Apple ID can only create a single iCloud account. If you want separate accounts for all these devices, they will have to be created using separate IDs. Note: you can do this and still share the same ID for other services such as your iTunes store account. The iCloud ID does not need to be the same as the ID used for other services.
To create an account, go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with a different Apple ID. If you want to migrate a copy of the current iCloud data to the different accounts, start by saving any photo stream photos that you want to keep to your camera roll (unless already there) by opening your my photo stream album, tapping Select, tapping the photos, tap the share icon (box with upward facing arrow), then tapping Save to Camera Roll. If you are syncing notes with iCloud that you want to keep, you'll need to open each of your notes and email them to yourself so you can later copy and paste the text into new notes created in your new account. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account (which only deletes it from this device, not from iCloud; the devices keeping the current account will not be effected by this), provide the password to turn off Find My iDevice and choose Keep on My iDevice when prompted. Then sign back in with a different Apple ID to create your new account and choose Merge to upload your data.

How can I access the HP VEE data transferred to LabVIEW through Active X?

When I write Data in Excel Cells through ActiveX it is clear that you address each cell. But to which addresses do I transfer the data from HP Vee to LAbVIEW. There are no specific cells I can address. I am talking about a direct Data Exchange from HP Vee to LabVIEW with ActiveX.

I am not an HP Vee expert. However, you will want to transfer the data directly to a LabVIEW VI. You will need to create a VI that accepts the data coming out of HP VEE.
You could also use DataSocket to transfer the data. This may be an easier method. You can use the DataSocket ActiveX control in HP Vee to write data to the server, and then read that data back in from the LabVIEW side using DataSocket functions.

How can I control a Festo (MH..4) Valve with Labview?

Hey,
i'm very new to this Labview stuff and have a minimal background in electronics so I'm struggling with trying to sort this one out.
I have a high-frequency valve (~400Hz) that we would like to control via the 9 pin RS232 port using labview. is this possible?
i imagine we will need an interface between the computer and the the valve (which requires a 24Volt digital signal) but I am not sure what to use. Buying a stock pc control board from LabVIEW is not an option because I will be running this from a laptop.

you can easely control 2(3) of the 9 Pins of the RS232 Port with the VISA Propeties (Visa Open, VISA Propety (Modem line settings: DTR and RTS state (and Break (TDx)) , VISA Close)
However, since the serial driver it is not made for this type of timed digital IO, I'm not shure about the resolution you might get. If you have a scope, then do some loop testing and move some windows or do some other system load :-)

I think I am following -- I was able to upload to my iPhoto and all photos and videos are there that is a plus! I tried to create an Event in my iPhoto and put all of my photos in that event but for some reason, now my iTunes it not recognizing that Event in my iPhoto. It is not allowing me to import just that event at the moment but I may be doing something wrong. At least all of my pics and vids are in iPhoto so that is a plus and I know they are at least saved somewhere. Just for some reason, my iTunes it not locating the event that I created with only those photos.
