How can I access my pictures.
When I go into my Adobe Photoshop Elements 8 I get Organize and Edit on my screen. When I click on Organize (which I have done many times) it goes back to main menu. If I press on Edit the edit program it comes up OK but not the Organize. Can I access the photos from Edit?Help I need my photos. Thanks Kathy

PSE comprises of two applications- Editor and the Organizer. It seems that you can launch the Editor but not Organizer. Can you check in your task manager of another instance of Organizer is already running. if yes, kill that process and try launching again.

Where does the masters pictures are located other than on Iphoto library
Don't change anything in the iPhoto Library Folder via the Finder or any other application. iPhoto depends on the structure as well as the contents of this folder. Moving things, renaming things, deleting them or otherwise making changes will prevent iPhoto from working and could even cause you to damage or lose your photos.
If you want to access the masters: File -> Export and set the Kind to Original
Deleting a photo from the iPhoto Library will move the file to the System Trash.
As for you questions about cropping and deleting
iPhoto always preserves your original file. There is no way to delete the origial only that will not muck up your Library and cause dataloss. It's desinged that way as a lossless photo processor.
If you don't want that then don't use iPhoto. -
I recently upgraded to Yosemite 10.10.2 and Aperture 2.1.4 will no longer open. I cannot access my photos and I don't want to pay for latest version of Aperture since this application is no longer going to be supported. How can I get my pictures?
If you want just the originals, then you can go into the Aperture library (right click on it and do "show package contents"). Inside is a directory called "Masters" and you can find the original files in a bunch of subfolders.
But... you'll lose all adjustments, keywords, and other information, and just have the files as they were imported originally from the cameras.
Easiest is probably to buy Aperture and update everything, and then migrate to the Photos application down the road if that's what you want. Aperture 3.0 came out in 2010 (five years ago!) so it's not like you've upgraded in a while -
Hi there, I pay for extra iCloud space online. However I cannot seem to find any of my photos or account? As my iPod/iPhone only hold 1000 pictures, where are the previous pictures? And how can I access them?
You cannot use iCloud Storage to suppliment your iPad. They are mainly used to backup iPad.

Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Delete what is not needed to free up space on iPad. -
Since the Maverick upgrade, I cannot view pictures in one of my files, they all have a small circle in front to them, How can I access them?
Looking at this data, it appears to all be quarentined. I presume this is the problem. Not sure how it happened, but what do I do next?

The SD card slot has hidden my pictures - how can I access them??
When I first put my memory card in the SD slot of my Macbook Pro, I imported photos fine. But now all the pictures are no longer visible in iphoto/finder/my camera - the files themselves are not there in the finder. If I take new pictures, those pictures are visible on my camera viewer, and then when I use the SD slot only the new ones are visible until I eject it. There's still space taken up on the card so I don't think they've been deleted - but how can I access them? I don't plan to use the SD card slot anymore, but now I'd just like to be able to access those pictures.

Your camera roll photos are only stored as part of your iCloud backup, if you are backing up to iCloud. Only photo stream photos are accessible in your iCloud account, and only by turning on photo stream. If you turn on photo stream, any photos in your photo stream will be found in the photo stream album in the Photos app on your phone.

You can import your camera roll to your computer using your usb cable as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083.
If you're upgrading your phone, I would recommend that you backup your old phone to your computer using iTunes. Restoring an iTunes backup to your new phone will be much faster than restoring an iCloud backup, and possibly more reliable too.
To back it up to iTunes, connect it to your computer, open iTunes, click on the name of your phone in iTunes, then go to the Summary tab of your iTunes sync settings and click Back Up Now. The go to File>Devices>Transfer Purchases.
When setting up your new phone, when given the option, choose Restore from iTunes Backup and restore this backup to your new phone. It will include your camera roll and other data; restoring the backup will will also sync your apps and other iTunes media from your iTunes library to your new phone. -
How can I access my iCloud backups on my pc? I'd like to see my pictures and videos...
My iCloud backup is full. How can I access the backup on my pc to see if I want to copy it (photos and vids) onto my pc and then delete it? btw iOS 7... I cannot upgrade to iOS 8 due to lack of storage space.
You can perform an update of the iOS in iTunes. Connect the device to the computer and iTunes and update. You cannot see the content of the iCloud backup on the PC. It is not a file for you to view and choose content. A restore from a backup is all or none. As far as content is concerned, you have dates for backups, and you would more than likely want to save the newest backup. How can I access my iPhone 5 videos that I record?
I took a couple of videos, including one long video (about 30 minutes) to test the quality and it was wonderful! The problem is that I can't do anything with them. They are (obviously) too large to send to people via things like email. I tried connecting it to my computer via usb to put the files onto my computer (my preferred method of dealing with files) but the video files were not there at all.
From my computer, there was really only one available path of folders and it took me to my camera roll where I could transfer/copy/save all my photos to my pc (which is great because I have taken many nice pictures). The videos, which were also stored on my phones camera roll were not visible in the folder at all (though the folder properties indicated it was 5GB large as if to say it did have the videos).
So my question is basically: how can I access my videos (and ideally get them onto my computer)?
Other details: I do not own a Mac and my iPhone is my only Apple Product.I Figured it out!!!!
My solution was to download the new iTunes and here is why I think it worked:
I tried to download the old iPhone explorer thing to search for the file and it required iTunes, which I didn't have. I was running Vista because I had to reset my pc to factory defaults (poor old PC haha. if only I had money for a new one). I don't like iTunes at all so I never bothered with it. Anyway, I started downloading the new version of iTunes (10.something) and about 1/8th of the way through the install, my pc started installing driver software on its own. It turned out it was installing drivers for my iPhone 5 (this occurred 1/8th of the way through right after iTunes installed some Apple components stuff for PCs) and this time, when I looked in the phone's folder for its data, my 30 minute video was there !!! So I think what was needed was a driver on my PC for my phone which for some reason didn't install until I got some Apple components (which was the first part of the iTunes install).
Thank goodness I don't need to touch iTunes and thank goodness it works! It is truly a wonderful phone and hopefully this will offer another solution to finding those pesky large video files (or large video file) that won't open up in the explorer. -
How can I access my old iphoto libary on my newer laptop?
I have a new iphoto folder on my laptop so I don't want to lose my current photos. I just want to add more.Do the following:
rename the old library to something other that iPhoto Library.
copy the library to the Pictures folder on your new laptop.
launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and select the old library to open it and convert it to the newer version.
Note: if the older version of iPhoto was iPhoto 7 (08) or earlier you'll need to download and run the iPhoto Library Upgrader 1.1 on it before opening with iPhoto on your new laptop.
If you want to merge the two libraries into one library and keep the edited versions, keywords, titles, etc. you'll need to use the paid version of iPhoto Library Manager to do the merging. -

You could have more 5 computers authorized if you ever, for example, reformatted a hard drive or replaced a hard drive without deauthorizing the computer first. You won't lose any data. Mistimp is correct, they can't tell you which computers are authorized. -
