How can I activate save button in acrobat 8.1

Hi
I have a Pc who has the acrobat save button and save option disabled and only I can save changes with the "Save As" Option. In anothers Computers of the same network this button is OK but for the moment I coudn't found any significant difference. What can I do to correct this problem?. I have Acrobat 8.1 over W2k3 in both PCs. Thanks

When you no longer need the Adobe software on a computer or you wish to move it to another one, you should deactivate the software.
See this link: how to deactivate software. How can I permanently save my customized toolbars and navigation button settings? When I run Norton Utilities CleanUp, Firefox gets reset to 'factory'.

I like to clean things out on a regular basis but when I run the Norton Clean-up utility all of my custom toolbar and navigation button settings get reset to 'factory' condition. How can I permanently save these changes to my config or preference settings?

Cookies, Completed Forms, .tmp files are all that's set to be cleared. If I can identify the appropriate elements I can protect them from deletion. Does anyone know?

If you mean activating it as far as using it on your phone plan, then you're going to have to go to your cell provider and have them do that for you and add the device to your current plan. Otherwise without activating it, the most your iPhone will be, is a thick iPod. Of course with wifi, you could still send iMessages, but that's the extent without adding it to a cell plan.

How can I activate Boot Camp? I want to install an educational library that is on a CD. People that have PC's can use the CD. I have a mac mini and I want to open the CD to read/review. I have the Snow Leopard model.

Open Boot Camp Assistant in the Utilities folder. You will see the following:
Click on the Print Installation & Setup Guide button. Click the OK button in the dropdown panel. You will now see the main Print panel. You can now print the document to your printer. If you prefer to make a PDF file you can read on the computer instead, then select Save as PDF from the PDF dropdown menu on the lower left. Save it to the location of your choice.
Now, read this document carefully in order to follow the proper procedures for creating a Windows partition on your hard drive to which you can install Windows 7 from a retail Windows 7 installer DVD.

Windows on Intel Macs
There are presently several alternatives for running Windows on Intel Macs.
1. Install the Apple Boot Camp software. Purchase Windows XP w/Service Pak2, Vista, or Windows 7. Follow instructions in the Boot Camp documentation on installation of Boot Camp, creating Driver CD, and installing Windows. Boot Camp enables you to boot the computer into OS X or Windows.
2. Parallels Desktop for Mac and Windows XP, Vista Business, Vista Ultimate, or Windows 7. Parallels is software virtualization that enables running Windows concurrently with OS X.
3. VM Fusionand Windows XP, Vista Business, Vista Ultimate, or Windows 7. VM Fusion is software virtualization that enables running Windows concurrently with OS X.
4. CrossOver which enables running many Windows applications without having to install Windows. The Windows applications can run concurrently with OS X.
5. VirtualBox is a new Open Source freeware virtual machine such as VM Fusion and Parallels that was developed by Solaris. It is not as fully developed for the Mac as Parallels and VM Fusion.
6. Last is Q. Q is a freeware emulator that is compatible with Intel Macs. It is much slower than the virtualization software, Parallels and VM Fusion.
Note that Parallels and VM Fusion can also run other operating systems such as Linux, Unix, OS/2, Solaris, etc. There are performance differences between dual-boot systems and virtualization. The latter tend to be a little slower (not much) and do not provide the video performance of the dual-boot system. See MacTech.com's Virtualization Benchmarking for comparisons of Boot Camp, Parallels, and VM Fusion. Boot Camp is only available with Leopard or Snow Leopard. Except for Crossover and a couple of similar alternatives like DarWine you must have a valid installer disc for Windows.
You must also have an internal optical drive for installing Windows. Windows cannot be installed from an external optical drive.

You need to use the serial number that comes with the purchase to activate the software. If you have an issue with reards to the serial number, you need to contact Adobe Support either by chat or via phone when you have serial number and activation issues.

There is one option ,You can protect yor varient but not hide it.
To protect>QA32>Mydefault>Varient Attibute>click on protect varient.
If you select the field Protect variant, the variant can only be changed by the person who created it or last changed it.
I hope this can be one of the solution

to de-activate or disable a button, lets say u want to disable SAVE button once it is clicked...
then in the method where u write code for SAVE button
at the end:
elem_btn_disable->set_attribute(
        EXPORTING
          name = `DIS_SAVE`
          value = abap_false ).
DIS_SAVE should be of type WDY_BOOLEAN in the context.
abap_false means deactivating the button .
if you want to HIDE a button, then type should be WDY_VISIBILITY or WDY_UI_ELEMENT_VISIBLE
& value = 1 .
if you want to do this before screen loads, then do it in the INBOUND plug method of in tht WDDOINIT method.
