How can I activate T3s at the server
Hi, I have configured a new T3 for a secific server and config looks good.
But on the server side I cannot get the T3 connected,
after cfgadm an d/or devfsadm the new t3 coonection are not shown.
there are still old connection which are no longer availabe and also
I dont know how do get this away.
Also a reboort -- -r doesnt help
ok, after devfsadm -C, nothing changed.
Still at the server side I see old T3s which we had re-configured to another server and there all is fine. So I normally know the steps.
The new configured T3 (new as it was complete rebuild by SUN) is setup for 2 servers.
On Server A all is find with same commands, nothing special.
On Server B I cannot get the new T3 connected as the old ones still there ??. Old T3 connection are unconfigured but devfsadm -C does not clean it.
Dont know how to clean old T3 connections.
We are not using a switch, mpxio is enabled.

How do I keep mail on the server as it is deleted on individaul devices? We have 4 Apple devices and a W8 laptop. We sort and read mail on all of them, but have found that deleting mail on one deletes it on all of them.
Yahoo and Gmail both support POP if you wish.
All modern email systems are Imap (because it supports multiple and mobile devices)
I do not recommend POP under any circumstances, it can not be synchronized so unless you do not use Mobile devices at all (iPhones etc) it is useless.
Yahoo users (search this site) have endless problems and Gmail is highly non-standard. Expect a learning curve for that one.

I have a Mac OS X 10.8 and a Time Capsule configurated as server with a name "Servidor" on my home. The discs are protected by Accounts, so, each person can access the server by typing own name and password. The problem is... Every time I start the computer, I see the window below:
So, every time I start I have to type my name and pass. And the box "Remember this password on my keychain" doesn't work because the "Password" is always blank when I see the window, like the image up.
Please, someone help me to automatize it so I don't need to type nothing to connect to the server. I want something that do it automatically for me.
NOTE: Please, explain clear and with details because I'm a new Mac's user.

Open Keychain Access and click on the KeyChain Access menu at upper left of the screen
Click KeyChain First Aid, then close KeyChain Access
Open System Preferences (gear icon on the dock)
Open Network
Click on AirPort or WiFi on the left
Click Advanced at the lower right
Click to highlight an old network that you no longer need, then click the - (minus) button to delete the listing
Do the same for other neworks that you no longer need
Make sure there is a check mark in the box that reads "Remember networks this computer has joined"
No other boxes should be checked.
Click OK, then click Apply
That is about all that you can do. -

How can I activate the transfer rules for the ODS updating a data target.
We are on BW 3.5 and I'm loading data into the 0FIGL_O10 ODS and then uploading the data into the cube 0FIGL_C10. The data loads just fine to the ODS but when I try to <u><b>'update the data target'</b></u> I get a date & time stamp' error on the info-package transfer rules.
I then Replicate the datasource 80FIGL_O01.
I must then <u><b>'activate' the transfer rules</b></u>.
However I cannot get the transfer rules for 80FIGL_O10 in CHANGE MODE to activate them.
How can I activate the transfer rules for the ODS updating a data target.
The error text is as follows:
DataSource 80FIGL_O10 has to be replicated (time stamp, see long text)
Message no. R3016
Diagnosis
DataSource 80FIGL_O10 does not have the same status as the source system in the Business Information Warehouse.
The time stamp in the source system is 02/15/2007 10:42:33.
The time stamp in the BW system is 11/07/2006 13:11:54.

You can't, i'm sorry. What you're running into is the activation lock and it requires that the original owner release it with their apple ID before you can set it up.

If it's the same computer, same CPU and same HD, no de-activation or re-activation should be necessary.
Install from scratch and apply all updates manually.
Please do a forum search. I and others have repeatedly answered the question about failed updates of CS5 a whole bunch of times recently.
Bottom line: the Adobe auto updater is utterly useless in CS5 and prior versions. You need to download the updates and apply them manually yourself.
I and others have even supplied the links for Mac and Win, which you haven't even bothered to specify.
