How can I activate the text reflow feature in Acrobat Reader For Ipad
I have used Acrobat Reader for reading ebooks for a long time. Now in my Ipad I cannot find a way to use the text reflow feature. Can any doy help me?
Sorry, no text reflow on an iPad. Most PDF files don't reflow. I read tons of PDFs on Macs and never reflow them.

How can I delete pages in a PDF document with Reader for iPad?
Is there a way to do this within Reader? I know you can do it with MAX PDF or PDF Splicer, but I was hoping for a native way to delete - for example - 2 pages from a 10 page document and then resave it to Dropbox, email it, or something along those lines...
I assume if you cannot delete, then you cannot merge 2 documents into one?
ThanksI figured the app might have that ability - considering you can add text, highlight, add a signature, annotate and draw - so my thought was why not delete a page, or rearrange for that matter?.. That should be an option, this way we don't have to export to one of the other apps to delete or rearrange..

BTW if anyone is looking - PDF Max can do all of the above and delete and rearrange. With PDF Splicer you can delete and rearrange as well, but it has no other features.

How do I activate the Search/Find feature in Adobe Reader 9.3.1?
My version of Adobe Reader is 9.3.1. I am trying to search a document and have used
the Search feature. I have put in words that I know are in the document but it keeps returning

Judy KunzWhen I go to Files>Properties>Security, the following is allowed: Printing, Content Copying, Content Copying for Accessibility, Page Extraction and Filling of Form Fields. So what is not allowed is Document Assembly, Commenting, Signing and Creation of Template Pages.
The Font tab shows: Courier; Type 1; Encoding: Standard; Actual Font: CourierSTD; Actual Font Type: Type 1.
And the tool I described does actually highlight in a light blue. It then turns from what looks like a plus sign with the middle missing into an arrowhead.
I'm not sure if this is helpful but I hope it is of some use. -
How can I activate the transfer rules for the ODS updating a data target.
We are on BW 3.5 and I'm loading data into the 0FIGL_O10 ODS and then uploading the data into the cube 0FIGL_C10. The data loads just fine to the ODS but when I try to <u><b>'update the data target'</b></u> I get a date & time stamp' error on the info-package transfer rules.
I then Replicate the datasource 80FIGL_O01.
I must then <u><b>'activate' the transfer rules</b></u>.
However I cannot get the transfer rules for 80FIGL_O10 in CHANGE MODE to activate them.
How can I activate the transfer rules for the ODS updating a data target.
The error text is as follows:
DataSource 80FIGL_O10 has to be replicated (time stamp, see long text)
Message no. R3016
Diagnosis
DataSource 80FIGL_O10 does not have the same status as the source system in the Business Information Warehouse.
The time stamp in the source system is 02/15/2007 10:42:33.
The time stamp in the BW system is 11/07/2006 13:11:54.

The load process has been terminated.

Copy the DataSource again and then activate the transfer rules that belong to it. You have to activate the transfer rules in every case, even if they are still active after the DataSource has been copied.</b>

How can I make the text vertical in numbers? I have merged the cells and cannot find an option for making it go vertical as opposed to horizontal.

I want to knwon how can I cancel the text-link in pdf forever.
In a pdf , If there is a text like "http://www.adobe.com" ,even it's not a hyperlink,and there is not any action on the text,but it can be clicked.
I have read the "Document management — Portable document format — Part 1:PDF 1.7", I find nothing about this text-link, Is this a function of adobe reader ,or is it required by the PDF format.
I konw adobe reader could turn off the function of text url Identification, then it can not to be clicked ,but what I want to do is cancel the text-link in pdf ,so that whatever is the "text url identification " turned off or turned on , the text can never be clicked.

In a real-world application, no.
In a RW application, a typical need is merely to know the "logical role" of the button (i.e., the button that validates the form, regardless of whether its text is "OK" or "Save", "Go",...). Text tends to vary much more than the structure of the UI over time.
In this case you can get the source's name (+getName()+), which will be the name that you've set to the button at UI construction time. Or you can compare the source for equality with either button ( +if evt.getSource()==okButton) {...}+ ).
All in all, I think the best solution is: don't use the same ActionListener for more than one action (+i.e.+ don't add the same ActionListener to all your buttons, which leads to a big if-then-else series in your actionPerformed() ).
Eventually, if you're listening to a single button's actions, whose text change over time (e.g. "pause"/"resume" in a VCR bar), I still think it's a bad idea to rely on the text of the button - instead, this text corresponds to a logical state (resp. playing/paused), it is more maintainable to base your logic on the state - which is more resilient to the evolutions of the UI (e.g. if you happen to use 2 toggle buttons instead of one single play/pause button). -
