How can I add a website to a 'block' list so that Mozilla will not display it as a selection in a Google search?

I search for images with no filtering using Google and receive a bunch of sites that are known for installing Trojans or other malware. One of them ends with brstsecond.net. 'brstsecond" seems to be bad in any web address. In fact, any website with more than two dots-names between the "www" and the ".com or .net" seems to be one to avoid.
Doesn't Mozilla have a blacklist that I can add sites to?

This has been going on for months for me. Time to drop Firefox & go back to IE.

How can I reset my IPAD 2 to resolve the fact that Apple will not let me use the APPLE ID and passwords that I want to use becasue they may have been used in the past year. I am very close to donating this contraption to the Good Will.

I have been an Apple User for almost two decades and have had no problems with my G4 Powerbook, my Intel MacMini, nor several other Macs as well as Windows 7 machines. However, the IPAD2 poses a problem of unfathomable disgust with the concept and implementation of the Apple ID. There is one for the computer, there is one for support, and there is one for itunes, and possibly another one for apps. There are different passwords for each. I am continually faced with notification that my Apple ID is incorrect or the password is incorrect. I have to keep an Excel spreadsheet with all of this unnecessary NANNY State protection matched only in pervasiveness by the Federal government.
I am told that an Apple ID can never be destroyed and replaced. Who dreamed that one up? I am told I cannot use a password that has been used in the past year. Why? By whose authority? I am not a walking encyclopedia that remembers every telephone number he ever dialed. Thankfully my cheap LG clamshell telephone keeps numbers and talks to Ford Sync successfully.
Bottom line is that the IPAD has become almost totally useless since I cannot change the several necessary passwords to anything I can remember because they are not novel enough. I also never seem to be able to keep the Apple IDs straight as they are too numerous to remember and I don't want to remember them anyway. Why? Even if you enventually get the ID right you have the wrong password and have to go through a merry-go-round of emails to change the password to something you have already used in the past year which is not permitted.
Has anyone out there used a competitive device with less cumberson overhead? Surely this is not the best American technology can produce.

Thanks to all who responded. You are all absolutely correct. However, this Ipad was a gift to my wife who was dying of cancer in the hospital and wanted some entertainment. So I started it out with her Apple ID. After she passed away I moved from Sacramento to Austin and eventually proceeded to get the Apple ID changed from my wife's to mine. Meanwhile when she was in the hospital I opened an Itunes account in my name to buy movies for her. That was the first mistake.
Then during the move to Austin I lost track of the IPAD and later found it and tried to use support but could not remember the proper ID. Later the folks at the Apple store helped me create a new and novel Apple ID that was unfortunately unlike any other.
The botom line is that I am stuck with three Apple IDs and three passwords. I am told by Apple there is nothing they can do about this as IDs cannot be changed or destroyed. I can quit using them or start a new account but when I try to do that the system keeps remembering too many things from the past and resists.
Even if I sold this Ipad and bought a new one, the system memory is still there.
I think the real problem is that destop and laptop computers are totally owned by an individual and that individual can control logins and passwords to his liking. IPADs and similar Apple products are different in that the corporation has built in their own intrusion detection schemes because of the relation to Itunes.
One thing I thought about is to open a new Itunes account pretendding to be a new customer with my regular Apple ID. Perhaps I could do the same with Apple Support.

I figured it out. Go to the website you want to save to Top Sites. Click on Bookmarks, click Add Bookmark, a small window comes up saying "Add this page to: ", click the arrows for the drop down menu and click Top Sites and OK. Then your site will be added to your Top Sites. :-)

Apple doesn't make it easy to do what you want. However, here's how I do it.
Select the photo you want to move and create a new Event for it via the Event ➙ Create Event menu option.
In the Event mode select the new Event with the one picture and drag it onto the Event you want to move the photo to.

Update it from iTunes on a computer as described at the bottom of this article; there isn't a Software Update option in General on iOS versions prior to 5.0. It can only be updated directly to the newest iOS release supported by the device’s hardware, which is iOS 6.1.6 for an iPhone 3GS.

How can I add a Website Project in a solution that should be excluded from source control?

Using VS 2013 update 4
I currently have a solution with a couple of Class Library Projects and Web Application Projects and all of these are bound to a source control (VS Online). Now I added an Existing Website Project in the same solution by choosing a Local IIS instance. However,
I don't want this Website Project to be in source control.
I have tried File > Source Control > Advanced > Change Source Control ... and then clicked on the website project and then clicked Unbind. By doing this, it seems that the project was unbound. However, as soon as I close the solution it asks me
to save the .sln file and seems that it restored the Scc*** info in the file.
I also tried editing the .sln file and set the SccProjectEnlistmentChoice* = 0 (of the website project, under GlobalSection) and then set the ProjectSection of the WebsiteProject to
SccProjectName = ""
SccAuxPath = ""
SccLocalPath = ""
SccProvider = ""
instead of "SAK". This actually worked for me but everytime I open the solution, Visual Studio alerts an error saying "Unspecified error". This is the closest I got into solving this.
Is there a proper way of doing this? I think the proper way should be the "Unbind" method but it seems that it's not working as expected.
Let me know of other solutions.

Go to icloud.com from your computer and sign into your account. Any iCloud data you see there will sync to your new phone when you sign into your account.

I want to create a Pages template with the logo of our company in the page header.
I'd like to put that image (logo) in the page header so that it will be repeated on every page but it will not modify the content of the page.
Anyone know how to achive this, or something similar without have to copy-paste that image every time we add a page to the document?

Turn off the Page Headers (not absolutely necessary, but since you don't need it, why not)
Put your Graphic on the page and make the following settings:
Then Insert > Text Box and make the same settings as for the graphic.
Place your "Header text" in the text box and arrange the box and graphic as you want them. Move both to Section Master using the Arrange menu.

How can I burn my imovie creation onto a disk so that it will play on windows or other computers?

I have been trying to burn my imovie project onto a DVD to show it to my school, but the school has windows computers so the disk won't play. I have already tried to use iDVD but nothing is working. How can I burn my project onto a disk so it will play on a windows format? I have the latest version of imovie by the way. Any tips or advice would be helpful. Thanks!

What do you mean by "nothing is working"? Create an iDVD project, burn to disk and it can be played on a PC as long as the PC can play video DVDs, either commercial or home made.
Export the movie out of iMovie as 480p. Open iDVD, select your theme and drag the movie file into the menu window being careful to avoid any drop zones that may be present.
Follow this workflow to help assure the best qualty video DVD:
Once you have the project as you want it save it as a disk image via the File ➙ Save as Disk Image menu option. This will separate the encoding process from the burn process.
To check the encoding mount the disk image, launch DVD Player and play it. If it plays OK with DVD Player the encoding is good.
Then burn to disk with Disk Utility or Toast at the slowest speed available (2x-4x) to assure the best burn quality. Always use top quality media: Verbatim, Maxell or Taiyo Yuden DVD-R are the most recommended in these forums.

How can you add an exception if the notification "This Connection is Untrusted" is not seen complete and hence you can't click in the button "I Understand the Risks"?

When I open the window, I can see the place to sign in; but, where the logo and images (at the top and at the left) must be appear, two separated "Untrusted Connection" certificates appear. Rename the file cert8.db to cert8.db.old in the Firefox Profile Folder to remove all intermediate certificates that Firefox has stored by visiting secure websites.<br />

How can I export a finished project from iMovie when the "share" function will not respond?

Hopefully someone might have an answer for me. I am trying to export a finished project to You Tube. However, when trying to choose the file, it does not show up in the finished project list. I have gone back to iMovie to see if I've made a mistake with finalizing it. It seems to be finalized, but I cannot share it to anything (You Tube, Facebook, iTunes). I click on share and it does not respond. I click on File, scroll down to share, it does nothing. Has anyone else had this problem? How did you reslove it?

I experienced the same problem as mreingrover. The Share features of iMovie appear to be completely unimplemented.
I had had MacKeeper installed for a short while on my previous Mac; never on my new MacBook Pro. I could not find any trace of it in Application Support, Launch Daemons, or LaunchAgents, in either my user Library or the root Library. But I figured maybe there was some trace somewhere that had been copied over from the old system, so I deleted iMovie and went to reinstall it from the App Store.
Now the App Store wants $14.95 for an app that has never worked right, and which is (I think) supposed to be free with my new MacBook Pro Retina.
