  • How can I add the audio content cd after logic finished installing ?

There was an eror installing the Audio Content CD 1 and I did not notice. Everything else installed properly, Audio Content CD 2, Jam Pack, but how can I add the Audio Content CD1 after Logic has finished installing?
If you can help me please be very specific as to how to do it so that I can follow the directions properly.
    Please help me.
    Thanks

    Hi
You could re-run the installer, or, once you have updated to Logic 9.1.8 you could use the "Download Additional Content" function in the Logic Pro menu. It will tell you what is installed and what is incomplete.

  • How can I use mp4 audio files from my iTunes library in an Elements 10 slide show?

How can I use mp4 audio files from my iTunes library in an Elements 10 slide show?

AAC is Advanced Audio Coding.  Basically it's a format that sounds better than MP3 but doesn't take up as much space as a lossless format (like you'd have on a CD).  More than likely you've had that encoding turned on when you ripped your music into itunes (it's the default encoder).  Therefore your LG phone won't play them.
You need to turn off the AAC format by going to the iTunes menu, Preferences, General (at the top), then clicking the "Import Preferences" button.  Change the AAC Encoder to MP3 Encoder.  After that you'll have to make MP3 copies of your songs by right clicking them and selecting "Create MP3 Version."  You'll get a copy of the song that should transfer to your SD card and have MP3 encoding.  Hopefully your phone will play that.

Do you wish to add Titles to a live feed, in real-time?
If so, then you will probably looking at a hardware mixing console/switcher, with character generation capabilities.

  • How can I add my own files to the TV Shows Library instead of the Movie Library?

I have my own TV Shows in m4v format.  I can drag and drop the TV Shows into the iTunes Movie Library.  How can I add my files to the TV Shows Library?  Can I group them by show in the TV Shows Library?

    Select the files in iTunes.
    Right click - get info.
Select the Options tab and set Media kind to TV Show.
Better yet, use something like MetaZ to tag the files before adding them to iTunes.

    hi there
open the "Graphics & Sound" palette from the functions menu to use vis for reading/Writing wavefiles, search the examples shipped with LV for first steps. use the VIs in the "Analyze" functions palette to modify the data.

  • How can I upload an audio file and link a page on my webiste to it?

As to your website, which is a separate matter from iTunes, you can provide embedded players - these pages gives you some information:

  • How can I add an AVI file to iMovie?

I have iMovie '11. It won't let me add a .AVI file. If I can't add a .AVI file what is the best FREE software to convert it and what should I convert it to? Thanks!

I agree with the Streamclip suggestion for two reasons.
The first is that it is free and works well.
The second is that Streamclip is so essential that if one doesn't have it on one's computer, one is missing a very fascinating piece of software. Free, converts faster than anything Apple uses, and gives you a little window to see the conversion to make sure everything is going ok.

iTunes/iPod does not provide a way of copying tracks from an iPod to iTunes except for purchased music. But iTunes can play MP3 files without conversion.
Here are some ways of getting files from an iPod to your PC:
    Copy from iPod to PC
It is important not to allow your iPod to sync with an empty library. If it is set to synchronise automatically you will get a message saying your iPod is linked to a different library and asking if you want to sync – it is important to press cancel as syncing with an empty library erases all music from your iPod.
You can also prevent auto sync by holding down shift & ctrl as you plug in your iPod and keeping the keys held down until the iPod appears in iTunes.
Once you are connected, you need to set your iPod to manage music manually.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1535
If you have an iPod with iTunes Store purchases on it, you can use it to copy your purchases to other authorized computers.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1848
However this is not allowed for other music.
This MacMuse tip tells you how to copy music from your iPod using Windows Explorer, but it is a bit fiddly:
    http://discussions.apple.com/messageview.jspa?messageID=797432
Otherwise you can use third party software to manage the transfer, there are a variety of programs out there, some free and some that will copy ratings and counts as well as the music files. Here is a selection, check them out and see what suits you.

  • How can you add optional audio to a converted ppt deck?

Our group is working on a project based on a powerpoint deck synchronized with audio .wav files (and converted to an .swf file). The deck is an interactive training module with a voiceover. We want to maintain the association of particular slides in the sequence with particular wav files, but we want it silent by default. How can we make it so that the voiceover audio is silent by default, but have a "play now" button embedded in the deck?
    Any advice would be welcome!

There are a couple of ways you could do this:
Add a button labelled 'Play Now' to the very beginning of your slide and set the button's pause point so that it pauses your slide before the audio begins to play.  The button action would be to simply Continue.  So when the user reaches this slide, they can inspect the graphics or text on the slide for as long as they like and then click the Play Now button to listen to the audio for that slide.
Do not have your audio connected to the slide but to the Success caption of a Play Now button.  The button pauses the slide but the audio will only play when the user clicks the button and the Success caption would have appeared.  If you do not want the Success caption to be visible, make it a transparent caption with no text.  It will be present on stage while the audio is playing but not visible to the user.

  • How can I get an audio file to autoplay in slideshow ??

    Cheers all,
I have created a photo gallery as one of my web pages promoting my wedding images.
I think it would be very effective if the slide show button on my photo gallery page would magically run an audio file of my choosing from my iTunes library as it ran the show.
Here's the direct link to the slideshow:

Can I use an mp3 for this or does it need to be a different format?
There must be some iWeb '06 prestidigitation to make this happen.
After reading the posts on iWeb's '08 debacle, I am so not going there!

I am not sure about SWF support in Acrobat 8.x, however, if it is supported, you will have to add it to the PDF after the PDF has been created.  You can leave the space for it in your FrameMaker document and add it via the Mulimedia Tool.
I do know that SWF is fully supported in Acrobat 9.x, but in this case you will also have to add the SWF to the PDF after converting the FrameMaker document.  To do this, marquee and area on the PDF using the Flash Tool; Tools > Multimedia > Flash Tool.  You can also simply double click on the PDF with the Flash Tool.  Support for SWF, and several other multimedia file types is much stronger in Acrobat 9.

  • HT3775 How can I play an audio file in 3GP format?

    Hi,
I have an audio file in 3GP format, which was recorded in a mobile phone and transferred to me.
I am not able to play it using QuickTim and VLC Player.

Is that file played in a tab in the current window or in a separate pop-up window?
Are you allowing pop-up to modify the window size (dom.disable_window_move_resize = false)?

  • How can I send an audio file via mms that isn't a MEMO?

Can someone please help? Am i missing something here? i have an Iphone 4 and I cannot find how to do this....
    Any help greatly appreciated, thanks.

The only audio files that can be sent by MMS using an iPhone are those created by the voice memo app, unless there is an app in the app store that provides this functionality.
