That's correct - Photos supports geotagging, but only allows viewing of that information. Once an image is in Photos, geotags cannot be added, deleted, or edited. This post suggests some apps for editing geotags outside of the Photos app. As you mentioned, you can edit the geotags in iPhoto, export to the finder and then import to Photos. I would guess (and hope!) we'll see this added in an update, and hopefully soon!

You can't add text to a Photo in iPhoto. You need an external editor for that:

There are many, many other options. Search on MacUpdate. You can set Photoshop (or any image editor) as an external editor in iPhoto. (Preferences -> General -> Edit Photo: Choose from the Drop Down Menu.) This way, when you double click a pic to edit in iPhoto it will open automatically in Photoshop or your Image Editor, and when you save it it's sent back to iPhoto automatically. This is the only way that edits made in another application will be displayed in iPhoto.

Connect the old phone to your computer, right click on it in iTunes, and choose Transfer Purchases. That should put all of your music in iTunes except any tracks that were not purchased from iTunes. I do not know if this will work but you can try. Place the image you want on a storage site like Imageshack or Photobucket. Then make a link to it in your signature using (img_src="put the url of your image here"). This may work at least when you have an active data connection - wifi or cellular

Yep, Javascript.
Unless you want to post the data to the server and then rewrite the page (ie. jsp/servlets) then you are going to need to use a client side script to modify the page.
Javascript. You need to get the onClick() event of one list box and get the item that was clicked. then you can rewrite the 3rd list box.
If possible, try doing a search on google. Or do you want someone to hold your hand.

How can I change dates on photos in Elements so I can control order of photos in album in adoberevel

I have some of my photos in adoberevel albums, and have learned the only way to change the order of those photos in those albums is to change the date or event in my Elements 9 library. I'd prefer to work with changing the photo date, but don't know how. Can anyone help me?

Jon, Thanks for responding. I have only the "free" cloud uploads allowed on Revel, so they were uploaded automatically some time ago. When I first looked at them, they appeared to be a total disaster and I decided not to look again, and was happy to keep my images on my computer in Elements 9. But looking yesterday (someone had contacted me about images of my art), I found things looked better. The only problem is the sequencing of the images, and from what I read on a Community thread is that I have to change either the dates or the events. Well, today I saw how to change the dates on Adobe (only did it with one photo as a test), but that ____ so far___ has not changed the sequence in Revel. So, I will close and re-boot my computer to see if that makes a difference, and get righy back to you. Thanks again for responding!

How can I add folders of photos from pc to ipad4

I store photos from the internet in separate folders {depending on the subject} on my pc laptop. I want to move the folders to my ipad4 keeping in the same separate folders. Is it possible to do this, here's waht I have done so far
we downloaded dropbox and then selected one of our folders from the laptop and transfered that from dropbox to ipad dropbox. there are now 400 photos in the ipad dropbox. In the ipad photos app, I've created 6 albums. How do I move the 400 pictures from dropbox on the ipad into a specific album. We tried moving just one photo from ipad dropbox into the photos app and it created its on album called camera roll. how can I move the pictures into a different album other than camera roll. This is just one of my folders I have a total of about 5000 photos on my laptop that I want to move into different albums. Do I need to buy a better app than the ipad one, this one *****. I want to be able to move an entire folder instead of each individual photo as one folder has 3000 pictures in it.

This is where the process gets a little more involved with a few more steps.
There is no way to place a camera roll photo into a folder that was synced from your computer. You have to import it to the computer, place it into the sub folder of your choice on the computer, then sync again with iTunes.

One last item ....this will probably not apply to the way that you manage your photos and folders, but just so that you know .... albums that are created directly on the iPad are really only shortcuts to the actual photos that are on the device. When you create folders on the iPad itself, it does not contain a copy of the photo - merely a shortcut to that photo that allows it to appear in that folder.

How can I make the last photo taken display first (Arrangement by date AND time)?

In PSE 3 Organizer, if I choose Arrangement -> Date (Newest First), it puts the photos I took yesterday first, but within a day, it puts the oldest first. In other words, all of yesterday's photos are first, but the ones taken in the morning appear before the ones taken in the afternoon. I really don't think it worked like this when we first got the software, and I'd like to know how to fix it.
If I choose Arrangement -> Date (Oldest First), it seems to work correctly, sorting by date and time so that the oldest photos really are first.
Does anyone know how to fix this? I'd really appreciate the help.

What you are seeing is the default behaviour, which I think is logical - I like to see my latest batch of work near the top, but have them appear in the order I took them. There is an option in Edit/Preferences which lets you have the oldest first.

I need to populate a table with data from a variable. The data type of the variable is String. I'm running into issues doing it the way I am. I have variable
User:VariableName = "Some moderately sized string of data"
When I try to use a Derived Column Transformation Editor to insert the variable into the data flow as a new column, SSIS forces the Data Type to be Unicode String[DT_WSTR] and I can't change it. Additionally the length is 0 and I also can't change that.
When I run the package it errors with a truncation error. If the length is 0 then that makes sense but then why can't I change it to something that makes more sense?
What is the correct way to go about this?

I put all my photos from my iPod Touch 4 and my iPhone 4S in iCloud Photo Albums and Labeled them so that when I got the new iPhone 6 on iOS 8.1.2 I could have my previous photos on there for future use. Now I look on my iTunes app on my computer it shows that my storage on my iPhone 6 is almost full. Those Photos in iCloud are taking up all my storage on my iPhone. I know how to add more storage on my iCloud account, I just want to know Is there a way where my iCloud Photo Albums can still be in my iCloud Account, just not taking up all my storage on my iPhone.

If you did not sign out of your Apple ID on your iPhone before creating a new one, then you will need to sign back in with your previous Apple ID and then sign out.
