How can i add things like compression/gate to my input audio so it records as if i had an external compressor/gate or do i jus have 2 cough up the money to get the external gear?

click on a audio channel ... look up and down the strip .... you will see the word "Inserts" .. click on that and play with the menus... you will find heaven and paradise of Plug Ins

Ok logic pros and users heres and important question .... I have my vocalist comming over and he likes a bit of effect on his voice that gives him the sound like it would be recorded I recorded him last time on a tascam mk-2 with effects like reverb and some guitar effects which really enhanced his voice. He s using a compression mic so i do have to watch passing gas while hes recording because it will pick it up lol
What can I do on the audo track while setting up his voice to enhance his singing to the point that it will sound extremely good and not bland .. What I am trying to say he sounds like jeff tate and I want a tate voice like the album while hes recording i gives him an uplift and higher range
Thankswell, it should go without saying... there's no magic bullet here. Either someone can sing or they can't. The first step to them sounding good is their own ability.
Beyond that, a good quality microphone into a decent mic pre-amp is important.
Ok, so, after stating the obvious... (which I'm amazed at how many people STILL think software will make them a good musician....)
For monitoring, you could start with any channel strip setting in the vocal category. Most will be over the top, in terms of what you need, but it'll get you started. You'll have to watch latency though. Depending on your audio interface, and how well the drivers were written, will determine if there's noticeable delay in the singers headphones. But a little reverb or delay inserted right on the channel strip will let him hear the FX as he sings.
If you want to actually print these FX to tape, you will need to record through an input object. -

It should be something like below -

EuropeInput shall be kept out of hierarchy and should be a base level member. Users will enter the numbers in this member. In your script logic, you will make use of this member to allocate the data in Bas(Europe) i.e. Germany, France, etc.
Effectively, after allocation the same data will be rolled up to Europe.
Many top-down planning would use such work-around as BPC doesn't allow writing to parent node.

I have Garage Band on my Ipad Mini and I notice that it does not have a "delay effect" that can be added to my music. There are other effects, but no delay, which is the most important one for me. How can I add this effect? Thank you.There are not many effects available in GarageBand on the iPad. You can add reverb and echo to the Master Track, but that's it.

Using it in a fluid grid and no images appears and no effect.. why? In the Fluid grid layout I add the .html information inside the container.. and I add the css information in first place.

But to be honest, I don't think jQuery Parallax is going to work in FGLayouts b/c Parallax backgrounds are not built on a mobile first approach. I was thinking that if he wanted to create multiple keyframes he might be creating a repeated effect rather than manipulating values that are shot specific - like creating an oscillation or some repeated step effect. If he was creating keyframes specific to his content he'd probably not look for a way to do it "quickly" since each keyframe would require manipulation of specific values.
So my thought was to generate the series of keyframes on a dummy clip created for this specific purpose, copy the clip, paste attributes (maybe turn off "Scale Attribute Times") and add bunches of keyframes at once.
Still, you're right, it's tough to divine the intent of someone very new to FCP. His question could be based on a misunderstanding about the use of keyframes.

Actually I would like to use the Catalog Area Type (maintained in trx COMM_PCAT_ADM on Catalog Area Header level). This field doesn't seem to be available in J2EE webshop. (The field documentation says it is for documentation purposes only so I don't expect it to be transferred).
As this field is not readily available, I would like to add is as an attribute to the Catalog Area. BADI's PCAT_IMS_FEED_ATT and PCAT_IMS_FEED_VAL seem to indicate that it should be possible to add additional fields not only on product level, but also on Area level:

In the ABAP debugger, I can see that my code is touched during initial and delta replications, however, after replication, the fields do not show up in the Java debugger.
