In otherwords I'd like to put my logo in the email not as an attachment but as an image.
Is there a simpel solution to this problem?

    You don't.
It's not possible. The e-mail protocol is designed for text; anything else has to go as an attachment.
Different mail clients (such as Mail.app, the mail client bundled with Mac OS X) may have different ways of handling such attachments, but they are still attachments. Each mail client has its own rules and methods, so one may display a picture as if it were in the body of the message, but another client may do something completely different.
A way of faking it is to format your message in HTML (which is a kind of text). The image is hosted on a remote server, not added to the message; instead, you include a link to it in the body of the message, as you would when building a web page. (This is also what the two tips helpfully provided by X423424X do, except that the link to the image is added in the signature, rather than the body of the message.) What exactly happens to it is, again, at the discretion of the mail client. In my case, for instance, displaying images in HTML messages is turned off, and will stay resolutely off.

  • How can i add image on my mail siganature on iphone

    hi,
how can i add image on my mail siganature on iphone.

I do not know if this will work but you can try. Place the image you want on a storage site like Imageshack or Photobucket. Then make a link to it in your signature using (img_src="put the url of your image here"). This may work at least when you have an active data connection - wifi or cellular

How can I add a mailbox / postbox on my iPad os5, now I have only incoming and trash

If it's an IMAP type account then you should have had an Edit button at the top of the current list of folders for that account - if it's a POP type account then it doesn't look like you can add folders (I can't add them to my POP account and other people have reported the same thing)

Based on some web searches and poking around, I think this URL should work to start a new message on AOL webmail. Can you test it?
    http://webmail.aol.com/Mail/ComposeMessage.aspx?to=[email protected]
It may be that AOL will redirect you to a new address. If you check the address bar, can you copy/paste that URL into a reply? If it seems to contain personal information, you might want to replace that with ZZZZZ instead.

  • How can I add .html file to my installer?

I am creating an installer to put my compiled executable on a customer's computer.  The application also does web publishing, so I must include the following files:
    niwebserver.conf
    WebPub.ini
    WebPub.alias
etc.....   No problem there as the installer selects and includes those files.
I must also include the file "C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 8.6\www\WebPub.html" and then have it installed into the directory "C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 8.6\www" on the customer's system as this is where the webserver is pointed.
I want this all transparent as trying to get the customer to grab the file out of one directory and figure out how to put it in the correct directory would not go well....
    Hints??

    Hi!
I'm not sure you can get rid of the physical path problem in 8.6.  In 9.0 NI added a variable $LVSERVER_ROOT to their web config file.
The path turns out to be:
    [Program Files]\National Instruments\Shared\LabVIEW Run-Time\www
The best you can do is the path [Program Files] for the installer.  See my post here: http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?board.id=170&message.id=439052#M439052
I write a step-by-step on how to do what you want in LabVIEW 2009.  Might work for 8.6 too, but I seem to remember some tweaking was required.

  • How can I add a third e-mail address to a submit button?

Right now it's only limited to two addresses.
The form in question is here: http://www.ucmexus.ucr.edu/resources/Final_Narrative_Report_CONACYT.pdf
I need to add a third person to the existing addresses in the submit button.
    Using Acrobat X Pro.

To bcc out of acrobat is going to be very tricky as you will have to run a script in order for the form to identify the bcc line. It will look something like the following. You will have to pair this script with a button to intialize the event script. I will chaeck and see if there is a script for acrobat but your best bet is to go the livecycle route.
    form1.#subform[0].Email::initialize - (JavaScript, client)
// add names and email addresses to the "To", "CC" and "BCC" lists
var recipientList = new Array(new Array("John", "[email protected]"), new Array("Lisa", "[email protected]"),

  • Using the value "Image/*" for the accept attribute of the HTML input Element, how can I add .pdf to the array of preconfigured file types (.jpe, .jpg, .jpeg, .?

On a form, using the value "image/*" for the accept attribute of the HTML input Element, how can I add .pdf to the array of pre-configured file types (.jpe, .jpg, .jpeg, .gif, .png, .bmp, .ico, .svg, .svgz, .tif, .tiff, .ai, .drw, .pct, .psp, .xcf, .psd, .raw)?
Say I wanted to add .gif, .jfif or .ico. I find this array limited, how can I add types to image?
    <input type="file" name="file" accept="image/*" id="file" />
mimeTypes.rdf does not seem to allow this.

''mimeTypes.rdf'' has nothing to do with web development. It's a file that stores your file handling preferences (e.g. if you want ZIP files automatically saved or opened).
You can't change the file types of the pre-defined content specifiers (audio/*, video/*, image/*), but you can specify additional MIME types. To add PDF to your above example,
    <pre><nowiki><input type="file" name="file" accept="image/*,application/pdf" id="file" /></nowiki></pre>

You can't do it directly on the iPad. If your email account is setup as IMAP, create the folders on the server (either in Outlook or webmail) and then the folders will appear in iPad Mail.
