How can I add iTunes music to a slideshow I am making and share?

Hi, I am making a slideshow for my daughter's birthday and when I go to add music to it, it does not let me. How can I do this? Thanks for any help! Plumgirl11

Use the PowerPoint command Insert > Audio > Audio from file, and navigate to where the audio file is located.
If you don't know where the file is located, right-click the track in iTunes and choose Show in Windows Explorer.
Make sure the song you want to use is in MP3 format. If it is in something else, make an MP3 version, per this document:

Connect the old phone to your computer, right click on it in iTunes, and choose Transfer Purchases. That should put all of your music in iTunes except any tracks that were not purchased from iTunes. At the moment they're both on the external hard drive and also stored on the computer but I'm quickly running out of memory on my iBook G4 so I'd like to only keep them on the external hard drive and, if possible, delete them from my computer's hard drive. At the moment, when the hard drive isn't plugged in a lot of the files won't play and I get the exclamation mark next to the particular song in iTunes, but everything plays fine when the hard drive is plugged in.

Sounds like your files are playing from the external drive already. To check go to iTunes - Preferences - Advanced and check the Media Folder Location. Change it to the external drive if you need to.

Why dont you right click on the playlist you want to burn and then click "Burn Playlist To Disk". see if that helps.

Import the music on the external HD into iTunes. If you don't want iTunes to make a new copy of each track that is stored in your iTunes Media folder on your PC's internal HD, make sure the Copy files to iTunes Media folder when adding to library option is NOT ticked from under the Advanced tab of iTunes Preferences. Just remember that if you go this route, you'll always need to have your external HD plugged in before you start up iTunes.

I have iTunes version 7.1 running on a notebook with Windows Vista. My iTunes music folder is becoming too large for the C; drive and I am having problems successfully moving it to the D: drive.
I know the folder is in the D: drive because I can see it there. I have followed guidance on how to link it to iTunes: Edit / Preferences / Advanced / General / Change (choosing iTunes music folder on the D: drive) / OK. I have also ticked the "Keep iTunes Music folder organised" box, as well as the "Copy files to iTunes Music folder when adding to library" box. Nevertheless, when I open iTunes my music does not appear in the library.
What am I doing wrong?
