I know typing in an url lets me inside the code to change something there choosing yes or no for that function. I forgot the url or particular function.

From your question, I assume you know how to do it for all persons :
Menu : Enhance/Adjust color/adjust color for skin tones
So what you have to do is to do the color correction on a layer copy. Concentrate on the person to enhance and ignore the rest of the picture.
When you are satisfied, add a mask to the layer copy and fill it with black.
Set your foreground color to white
In the layer palette, click on the mask icon on the right of the layer icon.
Then use a brush to paint white on the skin of the person to reveal the correction.

How can I copy light from one window to another in a photo?

I am looking at printing an image I shot last winter as our Christmas card this year. There are three windows in a mediaeval building, each composed of multiple leaded panes and the one on the extreme left is lit. My partner would like to have the middle one lit as well. Is this feasible without commiting huge amounts of time to the project or do I need to rebook the snow and arrange a reshoot?

Here is another approach to light up the window:
Open picture file
Open a blank layer on top of this, fill it with black, blend mode normal, opacity 75% or so. Rename it "black night"
Create new layer above this, name it "window 1", blend mode hard light
Access lasso tool and select the window, feather=0
Select a soft brush, mode normal, opacity 20-30%, paint window from bottom up. Should be a tad lighter at top vs. bottom. Use the "light" color from the window on the left which you can get with the eyedropper tool for your foreground color
Use eraser tool to tidy up
If wood slats on window are obscure, open a new layer at top, select foreground color from the window frame on the left, and using square brush, reconstruct same. TIP: When using brush tool, click at start point, hold down shift key, click on end point to get a straight line.

When in safari how can i have more than one window open?? New ios doesnt allow it.

Problem is when i updated to the newest ios 7. The dang thing doesnt allow me to have more than one window open at any time. This only makes things repetitive, complicated and slow. Moreover, the icons and overall view are probably designed to be in a kindergarden game, cos they look really stupid on iPad, whos gonna take apple seriously with this so called "improvements". Uninstalling Software: The Basics
Most OS X applications are completely self-contained "packages" that can be uninstalled by simply dragging the application to the Trash. Applications may create preference files that are stored in the /Home/Library/Preferences/ folder. Although they do nothing once you delete the associated application, they do take up some disk space. If you want you can look for them in the above location and delete them, too.
Some applications may install an uninstaller program that can be used to remove the application. In some cases the uninstaller may be part of the application's installer, and is invoked by clicking on a Customize button that will appear during the install process.
Some applications may install components in the /Home/Library/Applications Support/ folder. You can also check there to see if the application has created a folder. You can also delete the folder that's in the Applications Support folder. Again, they don't do anything but take up disk space once the application is trashed.
Some applications may install a startupitem or a Log In item. Startupitems are usually installed in the /Library/StartupItems/ folder and less often in the /Home/Library/StartupItems/ folder. Log In Items are set in the Accounts preferences. Open System Preferences, click on the Accounts icon, then click on the LogIn Items tab. Locate the item in the list for the application you want to remove and click on the "-" button to delete it from the list.
Some software use startup daemons or agents that are a new feature of the OS. Look for them in /Library/LaunchAgents/ and /Library/LaunchDaemons/ or in /Home/Library/LaunchAgents/.
If an application installs any other files the best way to track them down is to do a Finder search using the application name or the developer name as the search term. Some applications install a receipt in the /Library/Receipts/ folder. Usually with the same name as the program or the developer. The item generally has a ".pkg" extension. Be sure you also delete this item as some programs use it to determine if it's already installed.

How can I put a movie on my ipod without deleting other movies?

I have a movie (and extras) on my ipod nano that I downloaded years ago and placed my ipod. Unfortunately, that computer crashed and I no longer have the computer.
I recently downloaded a digital copy of a movie that came with the DVD I bought on my new computer. When I tried to put this movie on my ipod, I received a message saying that in order to do this, I would have to link my ipod to this itunes library on my computer and it would delete my old movie. I don't want this happen so how can I put my new movie on my ipod without deleting my old movie (and extras)?
(Also, I have no idea if this will be necessary information, but I want to give all the information for this question...the e-mail address I used to download the 1st movie is no longer in use due to security reasons. I've been using a new e-mail that has worked fine for downloading music and my new movie.)

Are you sure you have enough space on the ipod for the new movie? If you do, make sure it's loaded in i-tunes, and it's check box is checked, then click sync, or apply, and everything should load.

Could you please let me know what version of Acrobat are you using.
For Acrobat XI, you might choose 'Advanced' under Printer Properties and enable 'Print all Text as Black' option.

As I am doing family research, I sometimes need to have a window open so I can transfer some of the information to another window, or to double check dates etc. Although the information is available instantly by clicking on tabs, I would still prefer to have it in front of me for comparison.

You can tear off a tab (right-click: Move to New Window) to open it in another window and resize both windows so you see them at the same time.

You can change the size of the label, the text input box, and the field itself (border around the field in the design tab) - however there is one exception to being able to control the size of every field individually:
Fields that have "Labels left" or "Labels right" that are also the first field in a row will all share the same label width.
This is probably what you are encountering, this is how the fields work for now, those first in a row label left/right labels are all the same width.

How can I change a color of an image without affecting the texture, but based on a pantone pick?

Here is an image of a paintbrush stroke that shows the texture of the paint. I want to change the color to a specific pantone green in order to match a specific color pallet. Rather than just using hue saturation to "guess" at the color (no pantone number), is there a way I can actually set a base color without losing the texture?

You can only use the picker values as a guide on an image with many tones.
I presume you are going to print as cmyk, so find the mix of the target colour and make a 'solid colour' adjustment layer and choose that mix. Then set the adj layer properties to 'hue' which should do it.
Otherwise, add a 'hue/saturation' layer (and click on colorize in the adj layer palette) and move the slider to suit.
If you convert to greyscale, you could colorize the pic with the spot colour too.

I, too, am frustrated. This seems like something that would easily be handled within the application software. However, none of the fixes I've been offered have been very helpful. My cousin sugested using Control C and Control V to move the text to WORD. Once in WORD, you can manipulate the text on a WORD page...sometimes. I've had good and bad luck with this method.
