What I Want -: "I want to allow youtube for all the users in my domain and this should be listed in Control panel-->flash player-->storage-->local storage setting by site-->websites tab."

I was asked to deploy EFS to encrypt the user my documents folder and profile on all of the users laptops. The laptops are in common areas (board meeting rooms, etc) and security of files is a must.
I successfully created a recovery certificate in AD. I created an OU and setup an EFS policy and users can now login and select to encrypt their own files. The issue is that management would like to have automaticy Encrypt ALL users my documents AUTOMATICALLY
when a user login.
Can this be done?

How do I set access to the same network share on a Windows server for multiple users on an iMac (school set-up) in Lion 10.7.3?

We've got them authenticating/binding with AD (after hours of troubleshooting to get working), and their Home drive on the Windows 2003 server loads in the dock, but they also want to be able to load the same network shares on the server e.g. "Students$" for every student that logs onto the iMac. I realise without Lion server we can't control it by group, but if we could at least set it up consistently for the students that would be a great start.

Specific to Flash Professional CS5. With its export options greatly reduced, there seems to be no way to make Flash graphics accessible by other programs. Is there any workaround?
Currently, Flash can output two kinds of vector images: SWF and FXG, neither of which seem to be importable by most applications, including Fireworks and Illustrator (which write to FXG but not read from it), and Catalyst doesn't seem to write to anything other than what Builder uses. In other words, I know no way to export Flash files to vector formats (besides using Flash CS4).

How can I share my a public calendar from iCal (through iCloud) with Outlook for Windows users?

I have a public work calendar that I wish to share with colleagues in the office. No issues for those having a Mac or an iPhone, but how can I share the calendar with Outlook for Windows users?

The steps detailed below explain how to go about publicly share a calendar (which doesn't require that one be an iCloud user to accept).
Click the Share button to the right of the calendar you want to share, then select Public Calendar.
Note: You can also share the same calendar privately. For instructions, see the previous task, “Share a calendar privately.”
To invite people to view the calendar, click Email Link.
Type one or more email addresses in the To field, then click Send.
The people you specify automatically receive an invitation email that includes the calendar’s URL. An invitee doesn’t need to be an iCloud user to accept an invitation to view a shared public calendar.
In the sidebar, a shared calendar has a dark Share button.
You can also resend invitations to one or more invited participants at any time.

Using VPD/FGA to null specific columns for all but some users

I've been reading up on VPD and - though there a numerous examples - I'm having a tough time putting them together.
I have a table that - when most users select against - they should be getting NULL back in a specific column.
That column should only display for a select group of users as a value of other than null.
Can anyone help me out with an example of implementing this?
Any/all help is appreciated.

IN your case I guess you check for the user in the function who is executing the query (select user from dual), once you get the user see if this is a user who is suppose to see the columns values if yes return "1=1" otherwise return "0=1".

I am using the DSC module to help and I can get my tanks to complete a sequence, however it uses local variables. They cannot be shared on the network when I create my libraries. Need help urgently..

Clydecat, interesting I see the image you posted. QT 7 should have a File Types tab on the top, not on the bottom as the image shows. Don't know why it is showing up like that. My guess is a component of QT was removed or administrative permissions are in deny for QuickTime preferences?

QuickTime qtp is the QuickTime preference file. If that is of any help? You used to be able to delete QuickTime qtp if it was corrupted and a new one would be created on re-start. But that was with QT 6. So not sure if it currently works with QT 7, haven't tryed it with QT 7 myself

I have exactly the same problem.
I'm a little peed-off with Microsoft on this. The original wireless controller I have doesn't work either since the cable I'm using is 'just' the charge and play cable, so a direct connection to my Mac won't work with this cable. It's a cable for god's sake. Why on EARTH put any limitations on this!?!?
Next I learn I need an additional USB wireless receiver from Microsoft to get my original 360 controller to talk to my Mac. As I certainly don't want to fork any more microsoft dollars on this, this is not an option.
Next I think, yes! I have a MadCatz 360 wired USB controller. This should surely do the trick just plugging it in and the way I go. But oh no, for some reason I plug my MadCatz Xbox360 controller in, it flashes a few times then switches off and can't be turned on again.
The System Profiles recognizes it as a MadCatz 360 device controller but that is about it, but the ontroller software I download for the System Prefs (360Controller, USBOverdrive etc) don't even recognize the controller as being plugged in.
What the **** Is The Microsoft Deal with all of this!?!?
PS: Oh, and I forgot to mention, there are No drivers for device 4716 that I can find on the MadCatz website, or am I going blind?

How can I allow multiple users on XP pro to use the same itunes files

I'm new to this iPod/iTunes stuff and i would like to allow my family to use all the songs that I have on the computer. I installed iTunes 7.0 and loaded all 1800 songs using my user profile. I then let my wife signon and when i opened iTunes she couldn't see all the songs. I placed the iTunes directory in the /All Users/Shared Documents/shared music folder and i made the change to the iTunes preferences.
Other users on the same machine still can't see all the music.
What am I doing wrong?

You're half-way there, GrezGolfer.
To get to the finish line, make sure it's the iTunes Music folder, not the iTunes folder, you've put in the Shared Documents folder. (see http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=93195 for details.)
And finally, follow the instructions in the last part of that Knowledge Base article for each user - File menu > Add Folder to Library ...

If Pages and the other applicatioins installed in the Applications in the root directory they can be used by everyone. By default all programs installed by the App store are installed in the Applications folder in the root. In other words, your family members should be able to use the programs. Can they not?

The first time an iPhone is connected to iTunes that is used to sync with another iPhone or iOS device, you are prompted to transfer the backup for the other iPhone or iOS device or to set up the iPhone as a new iPhone.
The former does as provided - it transfers the backup for the other iPhone or iOS device to the iPhone replacing all data on the iPhone that is included with the backup being transferred. The latter does nothing allowing you to make your various selections for the iPhone sync preferences with iTunes.
This is designed to be done right away with a new iPhone.
If you don't have a backup for the iPhone with iTunes on your computer and don't have an iCloud backup that hasn't been updated since choosing to transfer the backup for your iPod Touch to the iPhone, the data that was on the iPhone is gone.
