How can I attach a picture to show architecture, workflow in my post

One way in my mind is that I can supply a webpage link to my blog website. The good news is that it works, but the downside is that everyone needs to follow the link in other webpage, and then back to this message and give an answer. It is a little bit distracting, and all pieces of information are not in one place. Any comments?
Best,
Jiangfan

Hi Jiangfan,
You cannot insert an image in a post. Hence, use the external link to your website, where the image with the architecture is found. I am sure that anyone wanting to help, will have the patience to put together and understand all information you supply.
Just for reference, some formatting options (not shown in the sidebar) are on the Oracle Discussion Forums FAQ.
Regards,
Andrei

What specific information would you need?  The program was working just fine early yesterday morning and than when I came back in the afternoon to edit  some more pictures that is when I wasn't able to see the full image anymore.  It is providing me with all of the editing options as if the picture is there but it is just a blank screen with the thumbnail pic showing in the right panel.

    Hi BERVEN,
You state that you are very disappointed because you have not been given a solution. Well, don't be disappointed with your new BBPB because it can indeed do what you want and  I have the solution for you right here.
STEP 1: TAP the PICTURES APP (on the homescreen) quick-like with your finger.
----  Immediately, all the ALBUMS containing all your photos show on the screen.
---- You will have saved your photos here, grouped by date or subject or other sort order, depending on how your photos were grouped together on your PC or MAC before you transferred them.
STEP 2: TAP one of your "ALBUMS"
-----------  Pictures are stored in albums, which is sensible.
------------- If they were downloaded from pc "folders", then a "folder" in Windows becomes an "ALBUM" in the BBPB.
------------- All the pictures in the album are now visible to you (swipe down to see more if there are many)
STEP 3: TAP PICTURE #1 in that album. Now you will be given 2 choices:
------------ You can "swipe" right to see each individual picture still
------------- OR go to Step 4  (and there you will find the answer to your question)
STEP 4: Touch that first picture
The result of touching the screen is that the screen pops up the BACK, PLAY, FORWARD on-screen controls you want.
The 3 MOTION CONTROLS ARE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PICTURE --- ON THE PICTURE ITSELF.  Press the middle control, which is the LARGEST ONE --- and Wow, YOUR SLIDE SHOW IS RUNNING ALL BY ITSELF!
You can play ALL the pictures in your PlayBook in a slideshow, together, regardless of which albums they are in ---- one big show, if you like.  Let me know if this worked for you, okay?

  • How can I attach link to slide show

I want to create a slide show displaying pictures of my daughter's confections.
I can animate the pictures over the background using keyframes, but I would like to have an active link for her web page displayed somewhere on the page.
    Thanks for any advice.
    David

I created the slide show with Bionx's "PhotoPresenter". The music I used, "Sugar Sugar" was to long, so I sent the resulting QT file to FCPX to add the music, shorten it and add some taper.
I then sent the resulting QT file to "Keynote" and added the link to my daughter's confections web page and a link to the artist's iComposition address. For some reason, the link would not work for a direct access to the song. I had to link it to all of his songs, which is good. The artist has very graciously given me permission to use his excellent recording.

  • How can I save a picture that shows as a "Firefox Document" type as a jpg so that I can see the picture and not the code?

Many times, when I find a picture on Firefox, I want to save it to a file, but I'm offered the options of saving as a "Firefox Document" or "all files." Whatever I pick, when I try to open the picture, I only find code not the picture.

You are trying to download what you think is a picture, but are really code appearing as pictures on the page you are viewing.
This is often done to protect the copywrite of the picture.
If you right click the picture in question and the dialog box includes Save Image As then it is a picture you can download.

  • How do I attach a picture in iPhoto to an email?  I can't find it anywhere else.

How can I attach a picture in iPhototo a gmail?  I can't find the picture anywhere else on my computer.

Are you accessing the account through a client (like the Mail app on your Mac) or via a web browser (signed into gmail.com website)?
If via a client, you should be able to email from within iPhoto or drag the photo into the new messge window.
If you need to upload it to webmail then export the photo from iPhoto to a convenient location so you can upload it to Gmail.

how can i attached a picture in facebook message. i try few times but cannot upload.also it request a flash player.can i download flash player and install in the ipad?

No, you can't download flash player, it is not supported on the iPad : http://www.apple.com/hotnews/thoughts-on-flash/
There are various facebook apps, including the official one which allow photos to be uploaded : http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/facebook/id284882215?mt=8 (the app is optimised for the iPhone/iPod Touch sized screen but you can still upload photos via it)

Only Apple Account Security could help at this point. You can try calling Apple Support in Canada - you'll have to find one of the several ways, such as Skype, to call an 800 number from outside of the relevant country - and ask for Account Security and see if they can help. Or you can find a friend who speaks Chinese and ask them to help you talk to Apple Support in China. There are really no other options that I know of.
Note, by the way, that these are user-to-user support forums. You aren't speaking with Apple when you post here.

You can't in the present OS. If you'd like to see Apple add that capability, suggest such here:

My podcasts do not show the pictures only the sound when I import them to iTunes from Garage Band.  How do I get the pictures to show up in iTunes?

Well, all I can tell you is that if your file is an m4a with chapter markers, those markers having suitably sized images attached, and you drag it into the Music area of iTunes (so that it appears as a song) in List view, when you play it and then command-click on the small image in the header (next to the progress bar) you should see your embedded images.
If this isn't happening the best place to ask would be in the GarageBand forum: my own experience of GB is rather out of date and in any case I've never used it for podcasting.

If you want just the originals, then you can go into the Aperture library (right click on it and do "show package contents"). Inside is a directory called "Masters" and you can find the original files in a bunch of subfolders.
But... you'll lose all adjustments, keywords, and other information, and just have the files as they were imported originally from the cameras.
Easiest is probably to buy Aperture and update everything, and then migrate to the Photos application down the road if that's what you want. Aperture 3.0 came out in 2010 (five years ago!) so it's not like you've upgraded in a while

  • How can I attach j-pegs and other documents to an email unopened and stop each them taking up a whole page of my email ?

How can I attach j-pegs and other documents to an email unopened and stop each them taking up a whole page of my email ?

In addition to the last poster's suggestion  -  just so you know, it also depends on the email program the recipient uses as to how they will see any attachments - for instance, when I am using my Yahoo Mail, I am absolutely unable to view any attachment within the browser window - Yahoo forces me to download it; there is no way for me to check it (like a preview) to see if I want to download it or not.
And, FWIW: the window shown in the screenshot does not show on my version of Mail 5.1 (which is the latest for 10.7.2); the only one similar shows when viewing a message received with an attachment, not while sending one. So that must be a different version.

  • How can I attach an image without the image is in the email body? (using the new mail the Lion)

How can I attach an image without the image is in the email body? (using the new mail the Lion)
I want in attachment, not in the body mail.

I think your only solution is to zip the image files first and then attach them.
Read this from a site I found:
Sending Graphical Attachments -- When you attach a graphical image to your message, the recipient of your message sees the image inline (that is, in the body of the message) if her email client supports inline display. ("Take Control of Email with Apple Mail" contains a table listing the capabilities of popular Mac and PC email clients.) If a client does not support inline display (or the recipient has turned off the inline display option), the file appears as an attachment that must be opened in a separate program.
On the one hand, an inline image is easier for the recipient to see - all she has to do is look at it. On the other hand, inline images can be frustrating to scroll through. If you do not wish to send a graphical image inline, you must compress the file before attaching it - Mail, sadly, lacks a built-in compression option, though fortunately for Panther users, the Finder offers Zip compression without requiring a separate application.
Note that when you compose a new message, Mail always shows attachments in the body of your message. You can manually drag them somewhere else, but many email clients display all attachments in a separate list, regardless of where you place them in the message body.
If you paste an image into a message or drag & drop an image from another window (say, a Web browser), Mail converts the raw image data to an attachment in TIFF format. On the other hand, if you drag & drop the icon of an image file (or use the Attach button to locate the file using the file browser), Mail leaves the attached image in its original format. This difference is significant, because although most email clients can display JPEG images just fine, support for TIFF - especially in non-Mac email clients - is less common. If possible, I suggest attaching image files as opposed to pasting or dragging in raw image data.
