How can we attach pdf or other files while composing either directly in Mail OR using safari in ipad2 ??

this doesnt work for me... u should be able to attach files with the "attach files" paper clip, but safari goes as far as opening up a window and choosing which attachment I want but then nothing happens, no attachment. I don't have this problem with Chrome, I never had this problem when I had the Snow Leopard OS, should never have changed from Snow Leopard, it was solid! Going off macs since Lion, Mountain Lion, too many glitches
So can anyone help with this problem? I'm sure I'm not the only one...

AFAIK - you can still only email files from within the app that can read and save the file.
In other words, you have to launch the app that contains the file that you want to email - and typically there is an arrow icon or a tool icon in the upper right corner of the app that you can tap on and select "email document" from a popup window. When you make that selection to email the file, the mail app opens on the screen and attaches the file to the email.

While I am searching for attaching files to oracle forms in forum, I found you. I have a question; probably you could help me out. I have a custom form which needs to have the facility to open the text files from C drive and load the data into Oracle tables.
The custom form will be attached to Oracle apps responsibility... We are currently using forms6i.
Could you help me out to open a dialog box which provides the users to open the text files from C drive when user clicks on a button
I have attached d2kcomm and d2kwutil to the form. It complies at the form level
but still it is not showing the dialog box.
I would appreciate if you can help me in this regard.

Can't attach files in any email AOL, yahoo, or company. Also only shows blank page when accessing yahoo email.

In any web mail program AOL, Yahoo, my companies you can not attach files when composing an email. By the attach button/icon it says "no file selected" (or when you hover over it). This happens in safe mode also. Also browser speed is very slow. After logging in to my yahoo mail I get a blank page. In the title bar it says I have x amount of emails.
I reinstalled Firefox and for about 60 seconds it was fast and yahoo opened fine and I was able to attach emails in yahoo and my company account. After that it reverted back to being slow and not attaching and opening yahoo to a blank page.
I have run spybot and malware and removed all found threats. I believe something is infecting Firefox. IE and Chrome do not have this problem. Any help would be appreciated as I am at a loss.

antivirus was not a problem since there was not one installed. Firewall settings are fine. I did just finally resolve this issue. Spyhunter was able to detect a couple of hijackers that the other programs did not and this fixed the problem. As I stated in the original post I did suspect this was the issue. The lesson learned is to run multiple malware programs until you find one that eliminates the problem if you suspect malware as the problem.

It just means that your memory is too full. You have to delete something before you can add more.
The other people that you know may have larger memories than your device - you may have an 8Gig and they may have a 16Gig or 32Gig - they look the same, except for a little marking on the back that tells what the memory capacity is (oh, and the price tag when it was bought! LOL)

How can user attach file to interactive form, and be read by abap program?

I created an abap interactive form, sent to the user, then user fills out the form fields, then it is uploaded back to sap, then my program reads this data and process it.
It works.
Now I want users to be able to attach any file they want, and the abap program to extract this file out of the PDF, to put it into SAP (or anywhere).
I succeeded in attaching a file, I can "see" it via function module get_annotations, but I get the file in compressed form by Adobe (filter="FlateDecode").
Do you know how to unzip the file, or is there another way to attach files in adobe reader/extract them via abap?
I use acrobat reader 8.1.2

Below is the xml obtained by GET_ANNOTATIONS. We see that there are other text annotations, and that the attached file has {length="98005"}, though real file (before "attach file" to the PDF, and also after "detach file") has length 111 995 bytes. It's why I deduced that there is a compression (I also tried to extract it as-is and open it with adobe but it doesn't work.

how is it possible for a user to ATTACH files to a PDF interactive form, and then be able to READ them via a program ? (I guess the solution to read them via ABAP or JAVA is quite the same?)

Its simple. In the task , you can see a tick
"Confirm End of Processing ". If you check that then at the time of execution of the work item by the agent , there is a scope to attach a file.

I can't attach files to my email

I can't attach any file to my email, because once I click the "browse", the screen will become frozen. Until I click "escape" it will come back to the normal state. But I can never attach anything. Please help me. I am wondering if I happened to click something so that my keyboard settings are changed.

After installing Lion, I'm unable to attach files from my Yahoo email account.!x?

How can I attach files from the mac so pc can open them

Hi, I am having trouble when I send a word document from my mac to other companies who are using PCs. They seem to always come back saying they are unable to open them. What can I do about this?

For some attachments in Mac OS X Mail client just use the checkbox in the Attachment dialog "Windows friendly attachments." You get that dialog, by clicking on the attach toolbar icon on the composition window. If you don't have the attachment toolbar icon which looks like a paperclip, add it with View menu -> Customize toolbar when composing a message.
Other e-mail programs such as Thunderbird, AOL, Webmail (any e-mail software that loads as part of a web browser) you have other attachment commands that support attachments which may or may not support Windows attachments.
For others, you are at the mercy of the e-mail client of the PC user, and their installed supporting software for images etc, and their knowledge of how attachments are handled. E-mail is not designed to handle formatted text and images universally the same way for each program. It is better to learn how to compose a compatible website from http://www.anybrowser.org/ and just make a link to the website from your e-mail message.

How can I attach something to an email in the google gmail app?

I try to attach a document through pages, etc, and it only takes me to the mail app, not gmail app. Is there a way to circumvent this?

I Have the Xfinity Connect which is Comcast's email app. I can attach a Pages document to an email in there by using the Open In Another App option. Don't try to use the Mail option. Try it that way.

How to browse pdf files while using internet on safari?

I am an student, i need to apply different job vacancies where i am suppose to submit my resume in pdf format but i cant do that because safari does not allows that. please help me here. suggest me third party apps or any other way for the same.

you can try to connect your device to a pc with usb cable and be sure they are not in the documents folder.
you can also uninstall the pdf reader you are using and install one of the others. they do not auto-find the current files that are there.
