You need to either authorize it from that Apple ID or delete those songs and buy them from your current one.

Can't update apps that were set up under a different email address that was closed some time ago.
The specific APPS at this time are Pages, Keynote and numbers but I would be suprised if others will have this problem in the future. And I can't update them on the new Apple ID. And when I supidly did the forgot my password thing with the old system they probally sent the message to an email address that no longer exists. If anyone could help it would be appsheated.

Content is forever tied to the Apple ID that bought it. Apple does not transfer content from one Apple ID to another. Apple does not merge Apple IDs. You will never be able to access your content bought with another Apple ID with a new Apple ID.

If you have a rescue email address setup, then you should be able to send an email to reset the password or the security questions. If that is not available, then you would need to contact iTunes Store support. Check out the article below for more information.

How do I authorize my laptop to play songs that i have saved in my library?
I recently downloaded itunes onto my pc. I signed in and all of my music and movies are there. i clicked on one of my songs and a popup says that i need authorization to play music. i clicked "ok" thinking it would lead me to somewhere to grant authorization but it just went back to my library. can someone tell me how to grant authorization?
There's a couple of ways to get through to the authorisation controls in the 11.0.x versions.
The control is still in the Store menu, but first (if you're using iTunes versions 11.0.x) you might need to bring up the menu bar to see the Store menu.
If you're using 11.0.x, click on the wee boxy icon up in the top-left corner of your iTunes to see the "Show Menu Bar" control, as per the following screenshot:
Then you'll find the control in the Store menu:
Alternatively, if you don't want to bring up the menu bar, it's still possible to get into the authorise controls via nested menus accessible from the wee boxy icon. Here's a screenshot of where to find them: -

Look under the Store menu in iTunes for the "Check for available downloads" command and run that. You may find the track there to be downloaded.
If not, contact the iTunes Store Customer Service department from their Support page (click "Contact Support" and follow the instructions to get to the contact form) and explain the problem to them.

How can I access files from a flash drive that were previously saved using a Windows computer? When I attempt to open the file on MacBook Pro, it is asking to "convert file to"; none of the options I choose work. I also have Microsoft Office (with Word) installed on the Mac as well.
Format the external drive as FAT32 or ExFAT. Both computers will then be able to read and write to it.

If you're not, you can't. You can authorise iTunes with the old account in addition to your current account, so all your songs will play, but I'm not sure what will happen if you try to sync them to an iPod. -

Delete the broken links in iTunes then look at your purchased list to redownload.
If this happened because you were deleting files from the iTunes folder in Finder, don't. You have to let iTunes do all the deleting and moving or you will end up with broken links. -

You can set up your iCloud account on your iOS device under: "Settings > iCloud" and a other account for store purchases under "Settings > iTunes & App Stores". Unfortunately merging accounts is not possible but you could transfer all of your music manually via iTunes from your Mac or PC. -

I know that you can use two credit cards to pay an item but the problem is that i can only put the billing address of just one of the credit cards, and since the two cards are from different people (my parents) i can't do it. They live in the same place so i don't know if i should just put one of the billing address.

By "game center account", do you mean Apple ID?
If so, you can change it.
1. Tap settings and navigate to iTunes and App Stores
2. Tap "Apple ID" and then tap "Sign Out"

I have two separate itune accounts under two different email accounts and would like to combine them under one account. Is this possible and if so, how do I do it?
If you go to Settings > iTunes & AppStore , you can sign out from your account, and sign in with the one you've used to purchase apps.This will not remove any apps you already have on it.
Then you can go to AppStore and download apps you've purchased (either via "Purchased" button in "Updates", or simply search for them and download them.
That way you can have multiple accounts' apps on your iPad. When updating, you will be prompted for the credentials for account you've purchased given App with. -
My iTunes account is under my @yahoo email address and I became accustomed to my @Me email and now like the idea of the @iCloud email address that was made. My questions are....can I change my iTunes account to my @iCloud name without instead of my @yahoo name without losing my years snd years of purchases ? Your purchases are permanently tied to the Apple ID (account) used to purchase them. They can't be moved to another account and you can merge accounts. You can start making new purchases with your iCloud ID if you want, but you will end up with two sets of purchases under two different IDs, adding further complication to your life.
Also, your @icloud email address is an alias of your existing @me address; emails sent to either address will be routed to the same inbox. You can decide which one you want to use as your default (as discussed here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5441) but you can't separate them.
