When I'm at my home, and on my Wifi, my 4G icon on my LG G2 is still present. No big deal. If the bits can flow via WiFi, that's what they'll do.
You might try (if you really MUST shut off the cellular radio):
Settings, Network Connections and More networks. Select Mobile Networks and uncheck Mobile data and data roaming.
Not sure if that will work - but give it a try.

In our project we've got to automatically fill some characteristics when we're introducing new manual input records.
We've got a dropdown for cost center and a dropdown for company code and we needed to write the values chosen in dropdowns in these characteristics automatically when introducing new records in the manual input line.
Can anyone help me with this?

But when the user selects a value for costcenter from the dropdown box, the column costcenter remains empty, for the new line. So the user still has to fill the value, isn't that right?

How can I automatically include photo descriptions when creating a book through iPhoto so that I don't have to type them all again?

I am scanning hundreds of old photographs onto my iMac and including descriptions when I import them to iPhoto. When I have created a book as a test, the photo descriptions are not automatically included. I don't want to have to add captions to the book I've created so how do I automaticaly include each description with the photograph?

There are no themes that automatically add descriptions that have been added to the photos. The Folio theme will pickup the file name and user name of the account
but not the description.

How can I automatically reconnect NAS shares when disconnected?

I have a Seagate BlackArmor 110 NAS device I use as a media repository. I have my Mac Mini setup to auto-connect to the NAS when login occurs. The problem is, intermittently the connection is severed, and the only way to reconnect is to logout and log back in. Unfortunately, it seems to happen when I am traveling and am unable to do so.
Is there a way to "ping" or pulse the share, and if it disconnects, to have it auto-reconnect? Both the NAS and the Mac Mini are hard wired through a Gigabit switch, so it isn't a wireless "hiccup".

Ok, well you won't get a "speed scale" indicator when editing a title clip. You can only adjust duration. Now, is there music attached to the title clip? Are you adjusting the TITLE TEXT box ONLY? Try adjusting the clip BELOW Title Text box 1st, then Title Text clip. Is the Title attached to your own video OR is it one of iMovie's default Titles??

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

Seems like there is some physical damage causing an intermittent issue of the iPhone being unable to power on.
You could try a reset:
- hold the home button and sleep/wake button down at the same time
- the iphone will turn off(keep holding) then when the Apple logo appears release both buttons
If the reset fails I would suggest next time it powers on to try and back it up to either iTunes/iCloud then you can try a restore to factory settings or just back up and book an appointment at an Apple Store to have the iPhone evaluated.

Thank you, I've tried that but it won't work either, the logo never comes up. It just stays on the FB app screen. I tried connecting to iTunes to see if I can fix something from there and it freezes iTunes. Also tried disconnecting the wifi (I don't know how I thought that would help but worth a try) and plugging it into the charger but still nothing. I think I'll have to visit the store tomorrow. I appreciate it, though!

I am currently stuck in the TouchChat app with VoiceOver and Guided Access both turned on. Every time I triple click the home button the accessibility options come up but it just reads the options aloud to me rather than letting me turn VoiceOver off. Since I am also in Guided Access I am unable to get out of the app to go to settings to turn the VoiceOver off. I have even tried a forced shutdown hoping that that would help, but when I turn it back on I am automatically locked back in TouchChat. Please help! How do I turn VoiceOver off when I am also locked in Guided Access?

Open the Seeing tab of the Universal Access pane of System Preferences and turn it off. If it's on at the login window, turn it off from the Accounts pane under Login Options.

Unfortunately, the uncertainty arising from the rounding has been up several times here in this forum.
I just came to remember a warning that needs to be given:
The rounding of the representation of a numerical value may be harmless in itself, but if you use it for any operation that changes the value, such as multiplication or whatever, things will go wrong because the operation will be made on the basis of the rounded value instead of the true value. So, as in your first case in post #2, 39.625 rounded to 39.63 will become 79.26 instead of 79.25.

Try to position your iphone that the screen is facing away from your skin.
Make sure that the back part of your phone will be the one that will contact your skin inside your pocket

It was easy to do prior to mavericks using system preferences (language and text), but now I can only submit a 2 letter word to replace, not a 1 letter word. I have tried using a space but it doesn't allow that. I would assume that most people would love to be able to type quickly without having to make uppercase I all the time (first world problem i know), so I can't understand why apple have removed this feature.
