I found your support page by searching E0M18UA#ABA (as opposed to EOM18UA#ABA) which I assume was a simple typo. To answer your original question, the answer is to identify and isolate the cause of the errors and issues you are experiencing. Once you identify each issue, you can find what it takes to get beyond them without having to refresh or recover so frequently.
You can only troubleshoot and identify the issues that are currently happening. If you are getting freezing right now, first take a look at this document specific to the freezing to narrow down the cause: Computer Locks Up or Freezes (Windows 8)

Another valuable tool when trying to identify the source of the problems, is to perform a clean boot after having one of the issues and trying to recreate it. This shows how to remove startup items. A good strategy is to disable half of the available items first, then restart and try to recreate the issue. If you cannot recreate it then perhaps there is a problematic startup item. If you can recreate it then disable half more, and repeat a few times until you empty the startup items.: How to perform a clean boot in Windows

I would like to do an EXCEL export.
Therefore I like to check if EXCEL is installed or not.
I use 'open registry key.vi' and read out the Excel\InstallRoot.
If there is an installed EXCEL than I export the data using ActiveX.
Everything works like a charm with LV 8.5.
The problem I have is that 'open registry key.vi' useses RegOpenKeyExA from the Advapi32.dll.
RegOpenKeyEx does, in fact, create a non-existing key and returns 0 (ERROR_SUCCESS?).
LONG lRegResult = RegOpenKeyEx(HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT, m_RegSubKey, 0, KEY_QUERY_VALUE + KEY_WRITE, &hkRegistry);
Successfully opens or creates m_RegSubKey under HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT.
Is there a way aroun this call?
In fact you need administrator rights to do this call because of the try to write a non exsisting key.
In my case this avoids the EXCEL export and any kind of registry access from LabVIEW without administrator rights.
:-) Who the hell has done this ;-)

Did you try to wire a "KEY_READ" constant to the security access mask input of the open registry key VI? I had a similar problem, if you just need to read a key or check if it's present use read access only, that should work.

I have made a book of my iPhoto pictures. In certain layouts there is a text frame. How can I avoid the frame becoming visible in the print if I don't want to write anything? Should I just leave it untouched or should I delete the instructing text "Write your text here"?
Most pages have layouts for pictures only or pictures with text boxes. Either select the same layout for that page but the one without the text box or put a space in the text box.
Putting a space in the text box will avoid getting the warning when ordering that there's an unfilled text box in the book. The box will not be visible in the final product. You can and should check the book before ordering by previewing it as described in this Apple document: iPhoto '11: Preview a book, card, or calendar before you order or print it

Every time I sync my iCal on my computer through iTunes with my iPhone 4 or iPad, duplicate entries are generated on both systems. What am I doing wrong or how can I avoid the duplications? I have been doing this for several years and this problem is a more recent issue, like in the last 6 months. I have been deleting the duplicate entries, on both systems, but some duplicates reappear through "general" entries that are connected to the correct color for a Calendar, but not the name. I am going nuts and wasting tons of hours trying to get the 3 calendars to sync without generating duplicate entries.
Choose one of the Calenders on ONE of the computers OR the MobileMe as the Master / correct account.
The REINITAILISE the data of MobileMe within preferences on the computer defining the datatransfer correctly (in the advanced box of preferences). The synchronise iphone contacts and calender directly on-line to MobileMe.

I'm working on a cross-platform tablespace migration (from SunOS to RedHat Enterprise Linux).
During the import with DataPump, I have several ORA-31684 error messages ("Object type TYPE : "OWNER"."OBJ_NAME" already exists"). Some of my TYPE objects exist already in the Linux instance of the DB. The messages appear only for 4-5 TYPE objects, while overall I have around 180 TYPE objects owned by the schema owner.
How can I avoid the display of these error messages? I don't want to drop the TYPE objects individually from the Linux instance, as the object list may vary in time.

There is no way to tell the impdp to ignore those errors. They will be printed to the error log and to the screen where the job is being run.

Hello Anindita,
Let me explain you the problem in detail.
I have selected User and Program as rows in the cross tab. In Summarized Field I am counting the Programs.
In DB I can have both User and Program null.
Letu2019s take these scenarios...
1) For a User, Program can be null
2) For a Program, User can be null
3) And both can be null.
A null Program does not give problem since Cross tab does not count the null values and in my case too, it remove the Program which are null from the Cross tab because of the counting its doing on Program. Hence scenario 1 and 3 is not a Problem.
Problem comes in scenario 2 (For a Program, User can be null).
In this case since Program is not null it will get counted and will be grouped under null user but I donu2019t want to show the null user Grouping in my cross tab.
"Suppress empty rows" and "suppress empty colums" does not help.

You might try tweaking your global privacy settings. I suspect it's set to "always ask."
Go to this page -- http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager02.htm l -- which contains the settings panel for Flash Player, and click on the various "deny" buttons to disable this. (It's a good idea to click on all the tabs to check the settings.)

This causes a lot of performance problems because of the update of the field TRDAT in table usr02, where the systen registers the last time that the user log on.
Can we avoid the writting of the field TRDAT in table usr02 for a specific user?

I agree with Juan that this is not a very good idea. Moreover this is not just some code based changed but is related to SAP kernel.
I would rather look at other system profile paramters like:
rdisp/rfc_max_login
rdisp/rfc_min_wait_dia_wp
rdisp/rfc_max_wait_time
rdisp/rfc_use_quotas
to control the performance.

I have Windows XP and downloaded Firefox 4.0.1. After it was installed 5/7/11, I noticed all my Yahoo search bar apps were missing. Rebooting did not help. Neither did the "gear" on the toolbar next to the yellow Yahoo search box. Internet Explorer browser still shows them. How can I get the apps back in Firefox?

Well thats good question. you can't test it in test tab of mapping.
It will give you exception like something below
RuntimeException in Message-Mapping transformation: Runtime exception
Here you can create the file name in Mapping either by using various APIs as well as Sender side filed values and can pass to the UDF that you will create for dynamic filename.
File with same name will be created. This is specific to DynamicConfiguration class which deals with the values at runtime.

I'm editing a short video and I have three different kind of source material. Half of it is done with a Canon D5 (full HD H.264). A third with a sony Z7 (1440 X 1080) and the Rest with the GoPro Action Camera in full HD (mp4). What is the best way for the setting of the sequence or a change of format for the source in order to avoid the out of memory message. It's driving me crazy.

mOne way to avoid potential problems in FCP is to only import media that works natively with FCP. That means you'll need to convert any H.264, MPEG-4 and other MPEG files and all other non-conforming media PRIOR to importing into an FCP project.
I recommend reading through the section of the manual/help files that covers native formats.
