How Can I Bring Up the Download Window Again?

Hi,
I downloaded an update for a program. I want to burn it to a CD for safety. How can I bring the downloading window again to find it? Just looking in the download folder doesn't help. I need to see the downloading window to see the last thing downloaded. Or is there another way to search for the downloads where it has them listed by date downloaded? I'm using Leopard 10.5.8 Thanks in advance.

To not display the built-in Firefox downloads window, Tools > Options > General tab, un-check "Show the Downloads window when downloading a file". See: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Options+window+-+General+panel

How do I turn off the downloads window?

How do I turn off the downloads window? I recently upgraded FF, hated the new one, so downgraded back. When I upgraded I got the new downloads ribbon at the bottom of the screen and no longer had the downloads window. However, for whatever reason I decided to turn the window on. But when I downgraded I realized that this interferes with programs that I had previously set up to download directly to a certain program. Bottom line... I do NOT want the downloads window.

I know you can go to Tools, then Options, and click the Downloads tab and configure how you want it that way. Do you have the Download Manager Tweak as an add on?

In the editor? Quit the editor , then restart it while holding down Ctrl+Alt+Shift. Keep holding the keys till you see a window asking if you want to delete the settings file. You do.

All photos transferred from your computer are stored in the iPhone's Photo Library regardless if you select a single album or folder of photos to be transferred or multiple albums or folders. The photos on the albums or folders of photos include a pointer to the original photos stored in the Photo Library. The photos are not duplicated taking up double the storage space. This way you can view the photos in an album or folder of photos only by selecting the album or folder, or all photos in all albums or folders by selecting Photo Library.
Makes more sense when transferring multiple albums or folders of photos which cannot be changed when transferring only a single album or folder of photos.
The same applies with iTunes and music playlists. A song can't be in a playlist unless it is in the main iTunes library. Placing a song in a playlist does not duplicate the song.

Yes you will need to NAT at some point to go from private to public address space. Here is a basic configuration if you are interested:

It's a function of your iPhone's data speed, which is a function of your physical location and your carrier. Talk to your carrier about increasing your data speed (probalby unlikely) or get dedicated internet to connect your computer to, i.e. cable, fiber, etc.

Only if you backed up the phone before that and did not back up after that. App settings and data are part of the backup. But all other data will be set back as well, you can't choose a single app to be restored from the backup.

Command L brings up the downloading window instead of current playing

Hello!
Is it just me who have problem with that command + L (cmd l) brings up my downloading list instead of showing whats currently playing?
I'm using Itunes 12.0.1.26 on a Mac mini late 2012 with Yosemite 10.10. Language swedish.
First picture shows command L should go to currently playing.
But as you see in second picture command L is also to get to the downloading window.

I m stuck up with something. I have a web page say 'page1' which has a link that opens up a popup window. This popup say 'page2' window has an applet. On clicking particular pins on the applet i need to
direct page1 to another URL & close the popup window. i hv tried this code.

You don't show your code for what parent or top are, but in an
applet, you must stick with relative links. Once you have the
appletcontext, use a relative path from there:

I keep getting urgent msgs to download 3.6. I have done so, but the download doesn[t seem to finish completely. How can I make sure the download has occurred? h s

I have dowloaded both 3.6 and 4.1 exe, however, I still get the urgent mesg from firefox. My download file shows that the downloads took place, but I guess they never were completely installed. How can I check to make sure the downloads are installed? Will the urgent messages stop when the downloads are truly installed?'

Do a clean (re-)install:
* Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.

* Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.
* Don't remove personal data if you uninstall the current version (doesn't apply to Firefox 3.0.x).
* It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere (not in the Firefox program folder) and won't be affected by a (re)install.

i accidently removed the download and document folders on my dock..those are the ones that were pre-made when i purchased the macbook air. how can i re-create them?

How can I bring back the nice big refresh button?

The refresh button used to be a nice big one at the top left. Now it is a tiny one hidden near the search stuff on the right. I want the big one back.
And while we're at it, I'd like the home button to be bigger again, as well. How can I do that?

Firefox 4 uses a combined Stop/Reload/Go button that is positioned at the right end side of the location bar. 
During the page load process it shows as a Stop button and after the loading has finished the button is changed to a Reload button. 
If you type in the location bar then that button becomes a Go button. 
Middle-click the Reload button to duplicate the current tab to a new tab.
To move the Stop and Reload buttons to their position to the left of the location bar you can use these steps:
* Open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize" or via "Firefox > Options > Toolbar Layout"
* Drag the Reload and Stop buttons to their previous position to the left of the location bar.
* Set the order to "Reload - Stop" to get a combined "Reload/Stop" button.
* Set the order to "Stop - Reload" or separate them otherwise to get two distinct buttons.
