Hi.
can anybody tell me how can i calculate
cost depreciation for an asset.
i have used one function module DEPR_RECALCULATE.
but it will allow only one date and it will calculate depreciation for total year .
i want to pass the two date .
how can i calculate depreciation between two periods.

How can i shut down depreciation of a particular Asset for few days say 5 days??
I have done the necessary changes in Time dependent tab like checked asset shut down and in AFAMA i changed the shut dawn as YES.
The only problem i am in is "how can i maintain the 5 days like from 10.05.2009 to 14.05.2009
If i go to MORE INTERVALS then only From date is available over there.There is no To date opition.
How can i maintain To Date??

Go for shut down approach. But your depreciation key should allow shut down. check your depreciation key configuration
In asset master data
Go to time dependent terms,
Define the appropriate time interval for shutdown
Set the shutdown indicator
The system does not calculate the depreciation for the shut down period,
The useful life of the asset will increase to the extent of shutdown period.
When you remove the shutdown indicator, system automatically resumes the depreciation calculation.

I have change the cost centers for about 1500 assets. I am not sure if there is an easy way to do it. Is there any way to get this list in excel and upload?
I am using ECC 6.0 (I think CATS could not be used.. but I might be wrong). Thanks in adv for your help.

I hope the above given suggestions will not fullfill your requirement,
Do follow the below steps for carrying out mass change of cost centers in asset master data.
Enter t.code-AR01 - Generate
Enter your Co.code and the assets numbers for which the cost centers have to be changed and execute.
In the next screen select Create worklist (CntrlShiftF8)
Give the worlist a Name and select-Change asset w/o dialog (bulk change) and press enter,from the next pop up select create Substitution,where you will be taken to creation of Substitution rule.
Write a Substitution as per requirement and assisn the same to your company code.
Where you will be prompted with a message "Work queue XXXXXXXX added".
Now enter into AR31 - Edit and release the woklist and see that your mass change of cost centers is carried out.
hope this might help you in doing mass change of cost centers in asset master record.

FYI, if the phone was not originally sold in India, it can not be serviced in India. You will have to take it back to the country where it originated.

How can we automate the Depreciation keys based on production for business u2013 this is currently not an optimised process if we expect business to manually change the keyu2019s on a monthly basis.
The end user updates the table, transaction AO25, manually on month end after the production calculations are completed. The question is, is it possible when the PP is completed, that the system updates the Period Unit table for that period?

My kids downloaded an extension of an app, made for kids, that cost $100. They thought it was free, until I got the bill. How can I get a refund for this and remove the app? How to do the Manual Depreciation for Closed Fisical Year (2009) in Feb2010

Hi Experts,
One Asset Start Using from 30.06.09.
Capitalized Date is 30.06.09.
But Asset (invoice) is Created, First Acquisition Date is 31.01.10.
Manually Entered the Depreciation Date is 30.06.09.
now i have to run the depreciation previous year (7months) depreciation.
Asset 2009 fiscal year is closed.
system posted the jan 2010 dep.
How can i post the depreciation ?

Try OAAQ to open the previous year and then using ABMA post manual depreciation. Also the FI period has to be open in OB52

alias 9: Bail out money we didn't spend
alias 10: My big fat bonus
There is an option in the web form definition to show alias, but not 10 of them, and AFAIK you can't add an alias via a web form.

I believe this is done in the organization definition screen. For each organization, we attach a classification "Company Cost Centre" (the same place where we attach the classification operating unit, inv org etc). In the others section, there are 2 additional information - GL company cost centre and reporting information. In the GL company cost, you need to attach the balancing segment value and the cost centre value. In the reporting information, you need to attach the manager for that organization. This ay the relationship between the cost centre and manager is created.

Hi,
In standard it is not possible.
You have workaround for this.
1.Change the depreciation key assigned in asset master
2.Copy transaction type 640 and choose debit transaction radio button. Next go to ABAA and give the new transaction type and amount(depreciation amount) to reverse.
You can choose any one option from the above.

It is not possible to create a new iCloud account using a Windows machine. You must create the account using a Mac (10.7.5 or more) or an IOS device (iPhone etc). Once that is done you can sign into and use the account on your Windows machine.
