How can I cancel an icloud storage plan that was unauthorized?  I was charged and received a receipt.  I never bought an upgrade!

I need to know how to cancel and be refunded $100.00 for an unauthorized purchase for 50gb storage plan.  I never authorized purchase.  No one was on ipad all day yesterday until late evening and itunes or app store or storage upgade was never engaged.  Please can someone help me????

    So I want to cancel my iCloud storage plan. Please can someone help me.

    Do any of the following:
    On your iOS device’s Home screen:
    Tap Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup > Buy More Storage.
    Tap Downgrade Options, then tap to put a checkmark beside your current plan.
    To confirm you want to set up iCloud to renew your current storage plan when the next payment is due, tap Confirm.
    On your Mac:
    Choose Apple Menu > System Preferences, then click iCloud.
    Click Manage, then click Buy More Storage.
    Click Downgrade Options, and enter your Apple ID password.

    Apple have made this as difficult as possible. However two posters have managed to achieve this. Elizellen was able to use Express Lane to get a refund:

    I wish I could help but I am in the same boat.  I spent $100 and not able to use it.  I followed up on everything I could find on line but did not get my money back yet.  Have decided to follow up for the sake of the general public and to get Steve Jobs good name back for the company I loved so much under his leadership.  Next up, is that I go to the the Genius Bar and request the right help.  Good luck to all of us.

And yes I followed all the instructions on your site, like plugging to a source and connecting with the Wi-Fi network. Besides all of this, it remained impossible to complete the back up. So I decided to do it manually in my computer and cancel my iCloud storage plan because of it uselessness, and on top of all the hard time I had, like paying and trying to make that **** back up work, you are now giving me a hard time on downgrading my plan! I demand that it´s downgraded right away! It´s been three months that I am paying something I´m not abble to use and nobody in apple support can find a way to help me!

    However they do say - in a comment added only recently -
    'iCloud support is free during your Apple hardware product's complimentary support period or with an AppleCare Protection Plan. Depending on your hardware product's coverage, you may need to pay for support. iCloud support is currently available by phone.'
    The implication is that if you aren't in the AppleCare window you can't get any support - which seems unreasonable if there is a payment issue. You can only try the contact method and see if you can get help - get your hardware number from 'About this Mac' before you start.

       Get help restoring from an iCloud backup - Apple Support
    2.  You can manage iCloud in system preference on Mac OS X or download control panel for Windows.

    You could sign up for iTunes match and use iCloud photo library with optimisation enabled. The later will keep optimised photos on your device and iTunes match will let you access your whole collection and make room for newer content by removing older unplayed items.

    You need your password to delete it and I need the email address to reset the password.  I feel like I'm going in circles!!!  Please help!!!

    Go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address (you shouldn't need to verify the old account).  You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.  Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

    You'll need to contact the previous owner to get them to remove the account.
    There is no way to bypass this security feature. If you can't contact the previous owner you have wasted your money and have a phone you'll never be able to use.

    It's probably happing because photo stream photos only remain in iCloud for 30 days (even though your last 1000 photos will remain on your devices until deleted).  When you enabled photo stream on your PC you would have only received photos from the last 30 days.
    To transfer older photos to your computer, create a shared photo stream that contains them and invite yourself as a subscriber (see http://help.apple.com/icloud/#mmc0cd7e99).
