How can I change a hyperlink in iweb site?

In my iweb site I have a hyperlink to an external page. I now want to change that link, and have it link to one of my internal pages. I changed the link in iweb, republished the files, uploaded them to my host site, but the link still goes to the original external page. How can I fix this?

Select the text or item that is the hyperlink and bring up the Inspector/Link/Hyperlink pane:
Select One of My Pages from the Link To: menu and select the page you want to link to.

You just publish your second site to MobileMe and use url forwarding to point your second domain name to your second site. It is exactly the same thing you did with your first site, the only change is that the url you forward to is different, i.e http://web.mac.com/konstantijnvc/secondsitename

How can I change the Slideshow in iWeb 08???

I've searched and searched and don't see to find an answer - I used to swap out slide show assets in iWeb 06 for a much better way of navigating through my photos. That's no longer an option in 08 - anyone have any alternative slideshows for 08?
In 06, the alternative would pop up on top of the screen and the user could then click on the left or right of the pix to move -
I hate the new slideshow - too long to load and the images are too small.

if you hit slideshow or any of the pictures, there's a secondary window that pops up for a much cleaner experience. I'd like to get that back in iWeb 08 - now I'm understanding that it uses Java and it's completely different.
Just wish there were some other alternatives - I really don't like to Out of Box slideshow.

You need to use File->Publish to Folder... which will create your site in a folder on your Mac. Then you need to upload the contents of that folder to your website using an FTP client.

But they don't seem to be able to choose categories; I always get notifications that they have been subscribed to every category (including ones that don't appear as options when they subscribe through the newsletter server). You can't change the default url in the inspector.. but an easier way to do it rather than editing the box everytime you need to build a link is to copy the url you want to link to and then highlight the text or image that users will click on and then click enable hyperlink.. when you do that whatever the last url you copied using "command" "C" will automatically be entered into that box and replace "livepage.apple.com"
It saves alot of time if you are doing alot of links.

I ran into the same hyperlink issue with some of my PDF documents that were signed, precluding any changes. After exhausting avenues in Acrobat, on a whim I typed an updated path in Word, made it a hyperlink, then copied the link and pasted it into a sticky note. Wonder of wonders, it worked. Who'd have thought Word is actually good for something other than writing letters?

Correct, the second disc contains the iLife suite. You can customize which components of iLife are installed (iMovie, iPhoto, iDVD, Garageband, iWeb) outside of when you install the OS.
If you erase the HD it's all or nothing, it'd be a full wipe of all data, applications, and system files.
Given the steps provided for renaming the folder in that kBase article that's much easier than reinstalling the OS. Heck, I didn't realize it was so easy for 10.5/10.6!

You should take a look at the [[Downloads window]] and [[Options window - General panel]] Knowledge Base articles. They will give you all the details you need. Unless you are talking about the default action and not the actual download folder? If so, you should look at [[Options window - Applications panel]].

You can't change the display in the Mail app, if you are holding the iPad in landscape orientation then the left-hand third will be for navigation, and the right-hand two-thirds will be an email. If you hold the iPad in portrait orientation then the navigation section becomes a drop-down section.

Go to "Setting"; scroll down to the 4th box for "iCloud"; You need to turn on you "Mail" option in the "iCloud" settings.
Then,
Go into "Settings", scroll down to "Mail, Contacts, Calendars"; on the left panel, scroll down to the 4th box; there you'll find the "Default Account" settings.

Click + (bottom left) and in the pane that comes up, select Danish on the left, and click Add.
Of course that can only change what the keys actually input, not what is written on the keys. If you wish to change the physical look of the keys as well, get in touch with Apple and ask if they can replace the keyboard.

Thank you for the help. Every app on my phone was downloaded using my old I-tunes ID. I just hope that they will re-download under my new ID because I still can't change it on my phone. In order to change to the new ID it says I have to sign out from the old ID and change to the new one. My problem is that I don't remember my password to be able to sign out from my old ID. Then the phone says it can change my password through e-mail and I agree but I never get an e-mail at my old address or the new one.
