You should be able to change your e-mail address from your provider ... then edit it to meet the Apple requirements. Unfortunately you've given us no profile details so we can't tell what device you have.

Did you follow the instructions on that page exactly ? The instructions work for me e.g. selecting a free app in the App Store app and tapping on 'free', then 'install app' and 'create new apple id' - filling in my details then gave a 'none' option on the payment details :

What do you mean by 'cannot manage to change my billing address' ? What happens when you try to update your details, and what country are you in ? You need to be in a country to use its store.

Sign out of your Apple ID on all your services & devices, especially iCloud on your iPhone.
Go to id.apple.com.
Log in with your Apple ID & password.
Then, edit your primary email address to the new email account.
Once you do so, a verification email will be sent to the new email address.

Hello, Im trying to upgrade Imovie and whatever app are about to update in the future, the problem is the my Imac is stuck with an old email on the APP store. I try to change it and nothing happen, when I put my apple ID it send me to change the password and what Im trying to do is to put my new email in the system so would be able to update my computer. An Apple ID isn't necessarily "linked" with your email other than for recovery reasons. So, as long as you know the Apple ID password, an old email isn't catastrophic. Apple ID != e-mail.
Now, if it's really bugging you and you really want to change it, if you log in to http://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address, this should update your Apple ID. There will be a couple hoops involved with this (i.e. verification of email change by sending email to rescue/alternate email. Alternate email can't be the same as the new primary. The new primary can't have ever been used as/with an Apple ID. etc...).

How can I change my email address if I inadvertently entered the wrong one on sign up?

So I signed up to an adobe ID using an email that was missing a dot. The installer was shown on my machine and I started to download programs from CC. Then it showed an error. I tried the installer again, but now it's saying that Adobe has sent a verification email, but obviously OI can't see this as the address was incorrect in the first place.
