Just contact your network provider & they will issue you with a nano sim card & transfer your phone number over to it.
I did this with Vodafone (UK) on my current sim only plan and the new nano sim card was live with my original number within 20 minutes of leaving the shop.

Around a month ago I switched from the Original iPhone to the 3G. Well, yesterday I lost it while skiing and never expect to see it again. I went to AT&T and they gave me a new SIM card. I put it in my old iPhone and it asks me to plug it in to the computer. When I do this, it acts like I just bought the phone and tries to add a new iPhone data plan to my account. I am already paying for the data from the 3G and just want to be able to use the phone. Anyone have an suggestions?

The original iPhone needs to be activated in iTunes.
The data plans are priced differently, so you may want to contact AT&T and see what options are available for your account.

You probably could have Edited your payment information instead of deleting the card. Have you tried adding your card to iTunes/Account/Account Information/Apple ID Summary/payment information.

With VoiceOver on a voice speaks the names of items that you touch on the screen, and you have to use different gestures to get around. This may make it feel like you're "locked out" of your phone.
To turn VoiceOver off you have to go to Settings>General>Accessibility>VoiceOver>Off. With VoiceOver on you have to flick the screen with three fingers to scroll, and to activate an item on the screen you have to tap an item once to select it, then double-tap it to activate it. You can also turn it off by connecting your phone to iTunes, go to the Summary tab of your iTunes sync settings, Click Configure Universal Access (under Options), then under Seeing select Neither.

in global platform specs doesn't exist anything about a command for changing life cycle state.
