How can I change the ENTIRE look of Firefox? I.e. I want to change all icons that appear in the browser - the loading "gif" the firefox...well... fox of fire in the "about" page, etc. Also what text shows up, for example on the "about:robots" page, and when hovering over a button, etc.
I could do something like that with an earlier version of Firefox, and I found the quotes from the "about:robots" page in the "omni.ja" archive, extracted, changed them and replaced in the original archive, along with other icons, however they do not seem to be implemented. :/

How can I change the quick look icons?

Hi guys!
Can anyone, please, tell me how to change the quick look display icons?
For example
- the music ones appear like a black square with a music symbol and if you want you can select it with the cursor and the play symbol would appear, I would like to change that black square icon but I can't find the file (.png or .icns) in any location.
or another example
- the NotLoaded icon is a Soft edges square with dashes and gaps as a frame... I would like to change that to a Circle shaped icon (same frame, just circle shaped)... but I can't find them in the directory or in any system coreservices...
or yet another example:
- Some or most PDFs in Finder tend to display it's content or first page on the file's icon and they are displayed as a sheet (portrait or landscape). Again I would like to reshape them to a Circle kind of page (I already have the icon files for it)...

Hey Kaozzz,
If you copy the icon file to the clipboard, then you can get info on a particular item and change that items icon.
Just click on the icon, and press Command + V and it will replace it.
To change system icons:
WARNING: MAKE A BACKUP BEFORE MODIFYING THESE FILES.
IT IS NOT RECOMMENDED TO MODIFY SYSTEM FILES UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT YOURE DOING.
If you still want to though, here's how.
Find the folder manually by going here:
1. Open Finder.
2. Press Command + Shift + G and paste, /System/Library/CoreServices into the window that appears.
3. Locate the CoreTypes.bundle.
4. Right click (Ctrl click) the file and press Show Package Contents.
5. The path from there is Contents > Resources.
All the files will be available from there.
One of the files you were looking for is labeled NotLoaded.icns in that directory.

I am on a Mac and just upgraded to Firefox 8. The cursor has become a permanent open hand and I can't click on links or CoolPreviews anymore. How can I change the cursor back to hand with pointed finger or arrow?

Upgraded from Firefox 3.6 to 8 on Mac OS X
Firefox crashed 3 x upon new upgrade and cursor is now a permanent open hand making it difficult to access links and CoolPreviews.
I want to change this or overwrite the new Firefox with my old one which was slow but at least worked.
I will do this through Time Machine.,

Sync with iTunes so you have a backup. Tap Settings > General > Reset > Erase all content and settings. Restore the unit as New. Reconfigure for your new ID and password. Restore your apps, etc. from backup.

In short, you can't.
You can use the column alias as you're already doing to change the name of the "A3" part of "A3_ROW" but you cannot change the "_ROW" part of "A3_ROW". This is added automatically.
You can combine the results of XSU with an XSLT stylesheet (made very simple if you're using XSU by working with Oracle XSQL Pages) to change the name of any element or completely restructure the XML output into a target XML, HTML, or text format.

In Garageband 10.03, how can I change the pitch of a track?
It seems that I somehow mistakenly changed the pitch of a guitar track I had recorded, so that al the notes in the track sound like they're about an octave too high.
I don't know how I did that, and how to make the pitch slider appear so that I can try to lower the pitch.
I saw three Youtube videos that show how to change a track's pitch by using the pitch slider, but none of them explain how to make the pitch slider appear.
The pitch slider is supposed to appear in the lower, left corner of my window, but it doesn't appear in my window. Instead the lower, left corner of my window says things like, Region, Notes, Time Quantize, Strength and Transpose.

Here is the problematic:
1° How can i change the color of the text on a button in Roll Over or Click state (Cs5.5)
- I've many button in a doc im creating
- the color of the buttons is white with black stoke & black text
- in roll over state i want them to inverse the color coding (the text white & bottom black)
- currently the text becomes invisible as black on black cant be seen (ive stroked it white but that looks ugly)
- i would just like to know if there is a function made for this?
My other questions:
2° Ive a presentation on which Ive created buttons which tigger pop-up animations
- i have 5 buttons which trigger animations
- the viewer can chose to Click on any of the buttons randomly
- the problem is once the animation is open how can it be close... either:
a) by it self after "40" seconds
b) when ther viewer clicks another button
3° Ive created buttons linking pages..
- "go to page xxx"
- when i do a preview and click on the buttons the links dont take me to the right pages
- is that normal? (maybe in preview its suppose to be like that)
4° I would like to intergrate YouTube videos in the presentation so they play inside the docment.. when i tried.. it said the 'link isnt a flash video'
- what should i do?
5° Once i export it into Swf. how how can i visualize it? or put it online?

You should setup Object Styles - these can also include Paragarph Styles that can be triggered when the Style is selected.

Does it work properly when you export it to the finished file?

InDesign won't link directly to youtube videos. I think your best bet would be to use Downloader to download the video and embed them directly in Indesign.
5° Once i export it into Swf. how how can i visualize it? or put it online?

You can look up how to embed a SWF file into your HTML - but it depends what you mean by "online" there's a dozen ways to get a file "online".
