How can I change the resolution of one monitor in a dual monitor set up?
I'm trying to help someone set up an extended desktop using two monitors connected to a mac mini. One monitor is at the maximum resolution, but the other is not, and thus feels enlarged or zoomed in. I know a higher resolution is possible because the monitor has a button menu that shows a higher resolution, but it seems to be disabled - as I cannot select the maximum.
Also can't seem to change it under the mac mini's display preferences.
Any suggestions? We would really appreciate it.

The HDMI connection does not support higher than 1920X1200

How can I change the resolution of a display connected to my iPad 3 via VGA?
I have been looking for this for almost an hour now. Google doesn't help and the preferences of the new iPad 3 are just crap, sorry. Why can't you search through the preferences? There's really plenty of room for improvement there.
The display is a 1920x1200 and I only get 1024x768 at maximum, even though the new iPad 3 should be able to display way higher resolution. Sorry Apple, but this *****. What also ***** is that I can't copy my Apple-ID passwort via cmd+C and cmd+V in the browser login. Costs me 20 - 30 seconds every time I have to put it in. For me, I try to have the most secure passwords possible and therefore use an advanced software like KeePassX for the job. When my husband and I first bought our iPhones, I was the only one with an Apple ID (since he never used iTunes). He used my apple id to get apps. Now he has his own ID, but my apple ID email address keeps popping up on his phone when he tries to download an app. We do not want to have all of the same apps on our phones. How can we change the ID on his phone? I already tried going to Settings>iTunes &App Store> and changing the Apple ID to his account email and that did not solve the problem. To make things worse, I recently changed my Apple ID email address (without getting a new ID) and I do not remember my old password (and this is the address that is popping up on his phone). He does not have any music on his phone and all of the Apps that he has are free. Any help you could offer would be great (-:
All apps are forever tied to the Apple ID that bought them. To stop your id from popping up, you need to delete the apps on his phone, and then repurchase them under his account.

You don't have to do anything with the first iPod that you don't use anymore. If you are planning on keeping it, put in a drawer in your house and forget about it.
You don't need a second account to use with the new iPod. I use one Appl e ID and iTunes library for two iPods, and two iPad. I have different content on all four devices. You can select exactly what you want to sync to each device and it can be different content on all devices. -

I am using WebLogic 4.5.1 .
and recently started to use JDK 1.2 instead of JDK 1.1.7.
So, I set [start]-[weblogic]-[Choose1.2JRE] in environment.
and then, if I execute T3Server, the message of
"javai.dll class path cannot be found " is displayed and the server is not
loaded.
However, javai.dll was in java1.1.X\bin.
I can assume that a setting is to java1.1.X.

How can I change the space between a checkbox and text all at one time? I have a lot of checkboxes in my form.
Okay, I haven't found a way to add an extra space using Find/replace, but you might be able to add some text wrap to the check boxes that will push the text away from them.
Open Find/Replace and click the Object tab.
Click the Specify attributes to find button to the right of the Find Object Format: field.
Under Basic Attributes, choose Stroke and then the Black swatch (assuming the black swatch is applied to the strokes of your check boxes). If there are no other stand-alone objects in your form with a Black stroke, this should be all you need. (If there are Black strokes on your table cells, they will be ignored.)
Click OK
Click the Specify attributes to change button to the right of the Change Object Format: field.
Under Basic Attributes, choose Text Wrap & Other > Text Wrap > Type: > Wrap around bounding box (2nd button from left)
Under Offset, set a Right offset at the distance you'd like to add (I don't know what units you use, but the 3-5 points might work for your purposes...might take some trial-and-error to get it where you want)
Click OK
Click Change All -

In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
When you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
