How can I check my iCloud email from an iPad?

When travelling i used to check my email using mobile me from any mac, pc or laptop.
We have a family iPad with its own apple ID and iCloud account, I thought I would be able to use it via Safari to log onto my iCloud email remotely, but it always defaults to iPad set up.
How can I add a second iCloud account to the iPad, just to check mail?  Thanks.

Worked it out!
I just added my apple ID as another mail account, via settings/mail rather than settings/iCloud.

Hi there. I am a new MAC user and not the brightes bulb with computers... how can I check my .mac email from my pc at work? Do I just go to mac.com? Thanks!

And look for the Mail link at the top of the page.
http://mail.mac.com or http://webmail.mac.com will also take you there directly.
    Hope this helps! bill

  • How can I read my iCloud email on my iPad

How can I access my iCloud email on my iPad? ICloud is functionnal with everything else (calendar, contacts, etc.), but I can't seem to get my me.com emails in my Mail app.
I can get my emails through iCloud.com and the mail app on my iMac, but not on my iPad on IOS 5.1.1
I went through every menu in Settings and can't seem to find the problem...

Mail syncing IS enabled at settings >iCloud. But I don't see my me.com account in the list of accounts under Account >Mail, contacts, calendar>settings.
There is a item named iCloud (that includes email, contacts, calendar and others), but there is still nothing that appears in my mail account...

  • How can I check my icloud emails using windows xp?

My MacBook Pro crashed and I am currently using an old laptop on windows xp. When I go to enter online in Icloud.com my emails it does not allow me to see my emails unless I install icloud on my laptop. The problem is that when I follw the directions and the relevant link it sais that icloud is compatible only with windows 7 or 8. Does that practically means that I will not check my emails until my mac is back in life?

    Thank you for the answer
I am trying to access my emails using my browser but when I enter my ID and password a message appears saying that I need to set up icloud first in my current device before I can make use (enter) icloud.com
Then I pressed more info to find out how I can do that in a windows pc and I found out the following:
''To enable iCloud on your Windows PC (Windows 7 or 8 required), first step set up your iCloud account on your other devices or Mac, then install iCloud for Windows''
    Any suggestion?

  • How can I remove the Icloud email from my apple ID?

I don't want Icloud at all.
I don't use whatsoever however I did recently use my apple ID to log into icloud and there is a [email protected] email that seems to substituting for my actual email. How can I remove it? I certainly did not put that email adress there and it is unsettling is there any way to severe this email's connections from my phone and ID?

Go to Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars and look in the Mail section.  If you have an icloud account listed there, just delete it.

  • How can I delete the iCloud account from my ipad?

I changed my e-mail on my itunes account and for some reason iCloud still thinks that the old email is still in use. I use the old password on it and it doesnt work. So basically i am stuck and i cannot get the iCloud account off of my iPad. Any ideas?

If you are trying to activate an iPad or iPhone and it is asking for a previous owners Apple ID and password, you have encountered the Activation Lock. This is a security feature that prevents thieves from setting up and using a stolen or lost iPad or iPhone. You have no alternative. You must use the previous owner's password to get permission to use the device. If you cannot get the password your father put on the iPad you will never be able to activate the device and no one can help you do it.

  • How can I access the iCloud email on used iPad 2

I purchased two iPad 2's that were sold to a salvage company by an insurance company.  One works fine, the other says it is registered to someones iCloud account.  I understand that there is not a way to restore or bypass this.  Apple says you have to contact the person, however it masks the email address.  Is there any way to access that full email so I can reach out to the original purchaser?  If not, is my only option to just throw away a perfectly good iPad?

  • How can i delete old outdated emails from my ipad?

Ipads and Iphones remember every email I have ever used.  Even if I make a typo or if I have deleted an old email.  There seems to be no way of deleting them.  Now I find that when I was in a hurry and sent an email to "Teresa"  the choices that come up are the new AND the old one. Also, my husband thought his gmail was [email protected] but it REALLY was [email protected]  The devices remember both so when I copy him on an event i am offered both choices and have to debate with myself which is correct.  Any know a way to fix this???
    Thanks!

Hi Ritahyde - There is a way to remove recent email addresses that you have used on your iPad and iPhone as long as they are not in your contacts. To do this, create a new email and start typing the email address that he would like to delete. As soon as it pops up, there will be on the right-hand side a circle with the letter "I". Tap on that circle and you will be taken to your recent email address and at the bottom you can click on "remove from recents".
Now, if you do not see that circle icon to the right of that email address, that means that you have saved this email address in your contacts and you need to delete it from there first.
    Hope this helps!

  • Can I send a delayed email from an iPad? if so, how?

How can I send a delayed email from my iPad?

The only way would be to draft the E-mail and then close the iPad.  A draft would be created that would, I think, be sent the next time you turn the iPad on.
There is no "time delay" function.
