How can I clear an expired password from my browser without clearing my whole cache?

The password to one of my email accounts has expired and needs to be changed. However, Mozilla has saved it in the "password" space on my login page for this email account, and I cannot clear it. I have been told that I must clear "Forms" from my browser. However, when I follow the directions on the Mozilla site for clearing parts of my history, "Forms and Searches" is prechecked and grayed out, so clicking on it produces nothing.
Is there a way to clear the saved password without clearing my entire history?

Remove saved Password(s):
* Tools > Options > Security: Passwords: "Saved Passwords" > "Show Passwords"

  • HT3209 How can I redeem my digtal copies from my cloud without having to pay for it?

How can i redeem my digital copies from my cloud without having to pay for it? I bought Disney's Frozen and it came with the Frozen and The Incredibles digital copy which i have in my cloud but they wont let me download it keeps trying to charge me almost $15 per movie

What do you mean 'redeem my digital copies from my cloud' ? Have you already redeemed the codes onto your account, are you looking to redeem the codes, or are you wanting to reddownload the films ?
If you haven't already redeemed them, and they are iTunes codes : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1574
If you are wanting to redownload them, then if you can do so then they will show in the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app on your iPad for redownloading.

  • How can I delete a bookmark address in I cloud without deleting the whole account

How can I delete a bookmark address in I cloud without deleting the complete account. Is it possible?

Your question does not make much sense. iCloud syncs Safari's bookmarks between devices. If you delete a web site's bookmark from one device it will be removed from all other devices setup to sync to your iCloud account. If this is a bookmark to other websites you have an account with such as Amazon or other sites you are only removing the bookmark to that site, you would have to log into that website to remove thae account related to that site.

  • I bought a used computer and I am currently upgrading to Mavericks.  How can I erase the current password from the seller?

I just bought a used computer and i am currently updating this computer to Mavericks upgrade for free.  How can I wipe it clean, and also how can I reset the password from the sellers password?

    You really have to start with the MBP as it came out of the box.  Read these directions;
    http://www.thesafemac.com/how-to-prepare-your-mac-for-sale/
You then will have to create your own password and account.
    Ciao.

  • How can I remove "Hello World!" from my browser menu bar

I just noticed there'e something in my brower menu bar that has never been there before. Next to the other menu options (File, Edit, View, History, etc.) appears the words"Hello World!". I know it wasn't there two weeks ago, and it's highly unlikely I would have missed seeing it a few days ago when I last did extensive browsing. In hopes of fixing the problem myself, I deleted the only two FF add-ons installed to my PC in the past month. I also ran a system restore to a point created 35 days ago. But "Hello World!" still remained in the menu bar. When I try clicking it on, nothing happens. I tried removing it by pressing the "Customize"option in the toolbar, but it "Hello World!" would not drag down from the menu bar. I was still running FF version 22.0., and when I saw that an update to FF 23.0 was available, I ran the update, but this did nothing the fix my issue (I'm currently back to FF22.0, due to the System Restore that I ran earlier). Finally, I went to both my "Program Files" folders, and sorted them using "Date Modified", to identify any programs changed or added in the past several weeks. There were only a few programs changed in this timespan, so I scoured all files within those few folders, but nothing stood out as unusual. CAn anyone tell me what this "Hello World!" is or why it is appearing in my menu bar? Most importantly, would anyone know how I can remove it permanently ? Following Firefox's instructions, I've created a Print Screen photo showing my brower toolbars, including the menu bar ( at the very top just above my address bar), so that you can see where "Hello World!" appears. Not sure yet how to attach the PrtScn photo to this question I'm about to submit, so if it doesn't make it to the forum with my question, I can send it to anyone who emails me a reply.
    Thank You.

THis is a reply to my own question, so that I can upload the Print Screen image of my browser toolbar. Look for "Hello World!" at the top, just above my address bar. Thanks again to anyone who can help me remove this from my menu bar.

  • Iphone sync is making me crazy how can I get data to and from my iphone without syncing?

I'm a pc user and i'm sick of the iphone sync process jacking up my life when I decide to reinstall windows and the old itunes data is no longer there. how can I etup my iphone to not have to sync but transfer data to and from it like an android?

The only way to get data onto the phone is by syncing.  To get some photos off the phone you can connect the phone to the computer with USB cable and use windows explorer to view and copy the photos from the phone to the computer.  You could use a program like ibackupbot or something similar on your computer and get data off the phone to your computer using that

  • How can i import alls of bookmarks from other browser?

i use firefox newly from recent. aloso in my android device othet 3 browset. such as ucbrowset nd opera. i want import all bookmarks in firefox. how can i do it...?

That setting only imports from the Android browser or Chrome. Because of the permission model of Android apps are not allowed to read other app's files. For example Firefox cannot read Opera's bookmark file due and Opera is unable to read Firefox's bookmark file.

  • With the new version of numbers, 3.0, how can I stop the spread sheet from scrolling horizontally without reducing the size?

With the new version of numbers, 3.0, how can I stop the document from moving horizontally?  When I scroll up or down I find it annoying that the document might shift to the left, and then I have to scroll it back to the right.  The only way I've found to stop it from moving horizontally is by reducing the document down to about 50%, but then I can't read the document.  I prefer having the document set at 125%, but then the bottom horizontal scroll bar shows up, and then the document can shift to the left if I'm not exact with my scrolling up or down.

    Hi Nels,
Please update your profile. Numbers 3.0 will not run on Mountain Lion (10.8.x)
With the new version of numbers, 3.0
    imac, Mac OS X (10.6.3)
iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4)

  • How can I protect formulae in a newly created spreadsheet without locking the whole sheet ?

How can I protect formulae from being overwritten on a newly created spreadsheet without locking the whole sheet ?

    Olly,
I'll be picky here on nomenclature ;-)
Tables and other Obects can be locked, but Sheets can't be locked.
If you wish to shield some parts of your content from accidental modification, arrange your layout to put that sensitive content in tables separate from the tables that need to be accessed, and lock the sensitive ones. It's also possible, but rather clunky, to place shields over the sensitive area. A shield can be made by Inserting a Shape and positioning the shape over the sensitive area. With the shape selected, go to the Graphics Inpector and set the Opacity of the shape to zero. You will then be able to see through the shape but will no be able to Click through it to get at the cells below. This method is inconvenient because you have to worry about keeping the shape aligned with the table should the table need to change size or shape.

  • Can ANT just launch my program from a browser without apache?

Or do I need to learn how to use the Java Web Start.
I'm just trying to find an easy way to launch the program for people.

I have a GUI swing app that I built and have a jar -- im new to all this and was trying to figure the easiest way to present the program to people.
I wrote a batch file to open the app and that worked ok, but wasnt sure if this ANT stuff would allow me to present a link from a browser to launch the program.
I KNOW that java webstart might work, but havent learned about that either.

  • How can I delete an expired video from my iPhone??

I moved a movie to my iPhone, where it died. I resync and yet it continues to take up storage space on my iPhone. iTunes helpfully points out I have "no rented movies in my iTunes library that can be transferred to this iPhone." How about deleting the movie imprisoned on my iPhone? Does anyone know a fix that wouldn't get rid of bookmarks or other settings on my iPhone?

Turns out shutting off the iPhone completely and turning it back on resolves this issue. Pretty simple fix. Wish I didn't have to do it though.
