How can I clear my phone storage so I can take more pictures
I have an iPhone 4 and right now it won't allow me to take anymore pictures. I had over 200 pictures and printed 90% of them. Now I have 57 and it won't let me take any more. I have deleted my game apps and my linkedin app in the hopes that it would free up my storage space. I have tried to store them on the cloud but that doesn't work. How can I get my phone to take pictures again?
The most recent ios update from a few days ago contains a new feature called iCloud photo library. I would suggest getting the latest update and storing them there. That way you can free up that storage space... Read all about it...

EDIT: My bad, I don't think you can get iOS 8 on a iPhone 4.... Soooo, why not just back them up to iTunes?

I'm sorry to hear your screen is cracked spence425. I know its difficult to use the phone while its damaged. I'm happy you are receiving a replacement device. Have you saved any of your pictures and other data to the cloud? Here is a link about the cloud http://vz.to/1mF0GIx . Unfortunately, you will be unable to remove any data from the phone if the screen is unresponsive but if you are looking to transfer data to your new phone, it would have needed to be saved via the cloud first. Photos that were synced from a computer won't show for copying to a computer. If you want to copy them back then you will need a third-party app on your phone such as Simple Transfer which can copy them off via your wifi network. But photos are 'optimised' when they are synced to a device, any that you then copy back to a computer may not be exactly the same as they originally were on your computer (e.g. their dimensions might be different and their colours may look a bit different).

I use Gmail for my emails.By sharing playlists you mean sending the list of song titles along with the songs themselves you can't. That would violate Apple's contracts with the studios regarding sharing music, videos, books, etc. Which is strictly forbidden. With the single exception that I am aware of which is Home Sharing.
If you just want to share the list of song titles you could take a screen shot and email that. Hold down the home button and press and release the power button. The image is then stored in your camera roll. -

ERASE / Clear All Data
Go to Settings > General > Reset > Erase all content and settings

itunes shows 1800 pictures but my phone only shows 548 and my icloud is full how can i delete pictures i cant see
i saw this under the summary tab in itunes. when you hover over photos at the bottom it shows how many pictures. i don't have it set to sync pics off of my computer files to the phone which is over 6,000 which it said when i clicked on sync photos from but i didn't sync. My phone shows 1.4GB on my camera roll while itunes, under the summary tab of my iphone shows 2.89GB.
i just read this morning to delete photos from the stream which removes them from the cloud and all synced devices. this is why i get confused because i read that on apple.com as well. -

You need to have them both on the same iCloud ID with photo stream ON both devices. Then when you take a photo with one device it will be sent to photo stream on the other device. Pictures already taken before enabling photo stream will not be transferred.

You can only transfer photos from the Camera Roll. Photos in other albums had to come from your computer to begin with and should still be there.

I have saved all of the photos on my Iphone 5 to my PC. Now I want to delete them from my phone only to free up space and take more pictures and video. How do I do this?
You sould have been given the option to delete them after importing when you imported them, as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083.
To do this on your phone, open the album you want to delete photos from (so you are viewing the thumbnails), tap Select, tap the photos, then tap the trash icon. (There is no "select all" option.) -
When I look at the storage, most of what is taking up the space is "other". I am not sure what these application or documents are but would like to reduce this so that I can store more pictures to edit. Any advice on how to find out what takes up this much space so that I can clear some off?

You must Empty the Trash in order to recover the space they occupied on the hard drive.
You should consider replacing the drive with a larger one. Check out OWC for drives, tutorials, and toolkits.
Try using OmniDiskSweeper 1.8 or GrandPerspective to search your drive for large files and where they are located.

I had the same problem. I closed the message, tried again selecting the correct imessage contact number and it worked.
I'm guessing I first selected a non-imessage phone number and it got stuck in a gray/can't send mode (bug). -
