How can I clear out "about:newtab" for privacy?

When I (or a visitor) enter "about:newtab", recently-visited sites are shown on the screen. I do not want my recently-visited sites shown. I want to remove this information from "about:newtab".

You can change the order of the boxes on the about:newtab page and drag an item to a different tile to pin it to that position or you can remove a website by clicking the close X to block that URL.<br />
You can drag a bookmark or history item and drop them in a tile on the about:newtab page to pin them and have your own favorites sites showing.
Changes made manually on the about:newtab page are stored in the browser.newtabpage.pinned (default = [null]) and browser.newtabpage.blocked prefs that you can check/modify on the about:config page.
You can create these Boolean prefs on the about:config page to prevent Firefox from generating thumbnails for the about:newtab page.

Delete the thumbnails folder in the Firefox profile folder to remove already stored web page thumbnails.

What I would recommend doing is contacting the local Apple Store in your area. All Apple Retail Stores have specialized business teams that hold free workshops on using the iPad for business and have lots of knowledge about business applications/uses. Give your local store a call and ask for the business team!

How can I clear out all smart tags?

I just upgraded from Photoshop Elements 6 to Elements 10. In the Elements 6 release you can do a FIND on all untagged items, so I can easily find all pictures that I have not yet gotten around to tagging.
On Elements 10 I find that the software has automatically added a "Smart Tag" tag to ALL of my pictures, making the FIND UNTAGGED useless. I assumed this happened when I converted my catalog. I have now gone back and disabled the Smart Tag feature (now that I know about it) so that new pictures will NOT get Smart Tegged. However, my database of tens of thousands of pictures has been contaminated by Smart Tags.
Is there anyway to get all the Smart Tags cleared out of the database so I can find the pictures that I have not yet manually tagged?
Alternately, is there a way to find pictures that have a Smart Tag but no manual tag?

Absolutely right. Although Smart Tags are automatically generated, as far as the database is concerned, for the images they are tags just like any other tags.

This time, even if it's not exactly a bug, it is a disastrous default setting.
All autoanalyzer functions should be disabled by default, and only enabled knowingly.
The other lesson is that the Find menu should be able to search for files without a tag while ignoring the 'smart' tags.
The fact that the option to 'remove tags from selected items' cannot be used when you have to many tags (only one page display of tags, without a way to scroll down to next screen) is a bug in my opinion.

How can I clear out the movies?

In itunes, I have selected my Itouch from the left side of the screen.
in the main screen, at the top, it says summery, apps, music, movies, TV Shows, etc.
I have selected Movies.. but there are no movies on the Hard drive. I deleted them all.
But the listing below still shows them.
How do I delete or clear that listing? Any ideas?

How can I clear out the "other" space on my startup disk?

My startup disk is full as well, but I am barely using any space on my computer at all for files. I have also only had this laptop for about 9 months. I have been emptying my trash, clearing my dowloads, deleting anything I can to get more space, but its not helping because I barely have anything left to delete. I just looked into my storage space following the Lion's Storage Display steps, and this is what it looks like.
I have no idea what to do, but I can barely use anything on my Macbook Pro without it telling me I'm out of space.

To figure out what is filling the disk, the pane with "other" on it is about worthless.
I find it much better to use OmniDiskSweeper instead. It will tell the the folders and files that are using the most disk space so that you can intelligently decide what is causing the problem.

How can I send out pending agreements for signature en masse on a scheduled basis?

I'm using EchoSign's Salesforce integration, and I'm trying to create a scheduled batch that will send out a large number of agreements for signature. EchoSign has some exposed global methods that I'd hoped will help facilitate this, namely AgreementTemplateService.load, which generates an agreement based on an agreement template ID, and EchoSignAPIService.sendDocument, which sends out an agreement that it is provided. Also, using the background action field on Agreement, it is possible to update an Agreement to 'Send', triggering its send-out.
I can do all this through code anonymously, or via a custom page at the click of a button, but to do it without user interaction is proving difficult. Regardless of whether I try to do it via trigger or scheduled batch, the above-mentioned methods fail out in different ways that essentially amount to the same problem (trying to call a future method from a batch, or a callout from a trigger); I've reproduced the error messages here (these are stamped onto the agreement record and displayed when the record is viewed):
System.CalloutException: Callout from triggers are currently not supported
System.AsyncException: Future method cannot be called from a future
You have uncommitted work pending. Please commit or rollback before calling out
It seems the above methods are intended for use in a custom page, rather than in some scheduled, non-interactive use-case. Is there any workaround for this, or support for sending out agreements at a scheduled time, rather than at the click of a button? Thanks!

I'm not an Adoby guy, hence you may ignore my reply, but Adobe Dynamic Link is obviously not just one way ticket and in most cases works just fine.
You have already been explained by J-MS and tclark513 how to properly use it and which pitfalls may occur.
So as to apply an effect onto a whole sequence or a group of clips you need to either nest them in PrPro or pre-compose them in AE. Then just apply an effect (or several ones) onto that composition.
So, if you nest clips in PrPro, select your nested sequence in the timeline, right-click and choose 'Replace with After Effects Composition'. Done! Your dynamically linked AE composition is in the right place in your timeline and in your Project panel as well. If you can not treat it as an ordinary footage, there are obviously some mistakes in your workflow.
If you didn't nest your sequence or a group of clips in PrPro before replacing them with AE composition, you may easily do it within AE. Just select all the layers in AE composition and choose Layer -> Pre-compose... (Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+C) Done! Switch back to your Master comp and apply your desired effect(s)
You may loose some effects or/and transitions while travelling from PrPro to AE via Adobe Dynamic Link, whereas you don't while travelling back
(If you start building your AE composition from scratch right in AE and then need to import it into PrPro, DO NOT export one as PrPro project out of AE, but rather choose Adobe Dynamic Link -> Import After Effects Composition... within PrPro)
P.S. And yes, submit a feature-request so that Adobe will convert 'Transparent Video' into fully functional 'Adjustment Layer'.

How do I clear out multiple entries for a persons name in the Faces selection?

Can I get some help clearing up multiple entries in the "Click to Name" dialog box in iPhone 9.6?
Here's the behavior I'm seeing:
When I try to assign a name to a Face by clicking the "Click to Name" option, I start typing in my son's name and iPhone is showing me 15 entries for his name.
Of the 15 options, only 1 of them shows a mini-thumbnail photo of him, and a different one suggests that it's from the Contacts app, but the rest of them are blank.
This behavior is not happening for any of the other Faces in the library.
In terms of troubleshooting, I've opened Apple Contacts and ensured there is only 1 contact record for him (there are 2 email address listed). I've selected Library > Faces > And I see one polaroid image in the list for my son. In the past if there were multiple listings here I've seen similar results. I'm not sure what else to try.
What causes these to be duplicated?

I spoke with Apple Support today and they provided a workaround:
I had 7 entries for a person.
Find untagged photo with person in it. Select Entry 1
Find untagged photo with person in it. Select Entry 2
Repeat until you have at least 1 photo tagged with each of the 7 entries
Now go back to Faces and you'll see 7 polaroids listed.
Select each of them and merge them.
Problem solved.

Thunderbird is a community project and while Mozilla's involvement is significantly reduced, that does not get the code base out on it's own. Thunderbird and SeaMonkey are basically the comm central folder in the Mozilla code base. Hence everything linking to Mozilla. Thunderbird shared the Geko layout engine with Firefox and to all intents and purposes that is almost indistinguishable from Firefox. The result is Thunderbird developers find themselves working on core to fix Thunderbird bugs, even though it is technically part of Firefox.

Bugzilla is used to extract details of bugs fixed (including enhancement) for the documentation of release notes. Because flagging bug for inclusion in release notes is manual there are always those the just appear without a release notes.

How can I work out about Pan function?

Can anybody help? my point is I don´t want my XY graph to have pan function.
I mean the XY graph cannot pan neither running VI nor not running. If it´s impossible to do that two ways, just only when running VI that cannot pan the graph.

What you can do is edit the graph palette to hide the panning tool.
Click on the graph
LabVIEW menu >> Edit >> Customize Control
In the new window, click on the left button in the tool menu (Change to Customize Mode). Sorry but my mothertongue is not English and I ignore the name of the illustrated tool.
Select the panning tool in the graph palette
Press Ctrl + Shift + J to move the panning tool to back (or click on the square with two arrows (Reorder) and select Move to Back)
Move the panning tool under the zooming tool
Resize the graph palette decoration
Switch back to Edit Mode
Menu >> File >> Apply Changes
Close the customizing window
You have now a graph with a customized graph palette. See the LabVIEW help for more details about customizing controls.

If I delete them, they just move over to mail trash. If I try to empty the trash it toggles the same mail back to the sent folder?

Mail/Preferences/Accounts/Mailbox Behaviors - check to see if store sent messages on server is checked. You can also set a delete time there.
