How can i close out my histories at end day w/o also closeing out my sign in sites. On my maverick i didnt lose my mail sign in or my site sign ins, Since i downloaded Yosimite every time i get online i have to sign in all my sign in sites
all my sites lose their sign in when i delete history at end of the day when i have yosimite. Befoe i loaded new OS when i removed JUST the histories i didnt have to sign in the next day in mail or yahoo ore any other sites. Yosimite clears all my histories as well as the data . Is there a way just to clear histories.Its a pain in the neck to sign in again for all my sites.

Click "History" in the Safari in the menu bar and select "Show History".
Select items under "Last Visited Today" and click "Clear History" at the left bottom of the page.
To set clear clear history after one day:
Safari > Preferences > General > Remove history items:
Select "After one day".
or
use Private Browsing. No history or other data will be saved.

BTW, just checked through my email history and I can't find a similar message to yours. I recently had my iPhone 3GS replaced with an iPhone 4 so if there is an official alert program in place I should have received something like it. I think we can be reasonably confident that it is a scam. If you used any link in the email to visit what you thought was an Apple site, and signed in, then you should definitely change your password from within the iTunes application. Store > View My AppleID > Top Edit link.

How can you close an email in Apple iPad after reading it without deleting it. I use AOL and in their application it just goes to "old mail" after you have read it. In Apple's email it stays open. Very annoying.
You cannot actually close an email in the mail app on the iPad. You can tap on the drafts folder or any empty folder that you migh have when you are done reading the email and then the blank white window will appear in the mail app.
The mail app will always show emails otherwise. That is just the way that it works currently on the iPad. -

Unfortunately it only gets as afar as 7 hours remaining because when I check to see if there has been any change shortly after, it says that the download has been requested once again and so it's starts ALL OVER AGAIN. How can I find out what my password on the computer is? I had to change it due to my teenagers helping themselves, and now every time there is a system update, I have to have the password, which I cannot remember or find. It then wants it every time I log in and pops up Key Chain Access as well. Very annoying. I do not have the disc to reload it and fear I would loose everything on my computer as there is also trouble with the back up system. Too many issues and not enough solutions. I have 2 iphones, one for personal and one for business. I need my phones not to sync otherwise they will both ring all the time. How can I log out of my icloud and unsync my phones?
Syncing your phones to the same iCloud account won't cause them to both ring all the time, it only puts the same contacts, calendars, and other synced data on the phone. The phones will only ring with someone calls the number associated with the phone.
If you want to stop using iCloud on one or both of the phones, go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, then choose Keep On My iPhone when prompted. This will disconnect them from iCloud and keep a copy of the synced data on the phone.
