How can i compare tables of same type and in different schemas

Hi all,
i have one table "employee" in schema 'Master'.
And i have the same table +(total structure is same as master schema employee table with some additional columns).+ in Audit schema.
So, when i do update or delete on the "master.employee" table the previous record (entire record) will go into
"Audit.employee" table, and my "master.employee" table is having the existing record.
So now, i want to generate one excel report containing or comparing the existing record from master and previous record from Audit. And my Input fields are " schema_name " and "Table_name".
Ex. i will give masters.employee.
So it has to search the same table in Audit schema compare the values and generate output.

Hello,
Here is the Oracle Forms forum, and your question has really nothing to do with this product.
Please, send this kind of question in the database forum, you would increase your chances to get the appropriate answer.

  • How can we use TABLE CONTROL in BDC and WORK FLOW of ABAP.

how can we use TABLE CONTROL in BDC and WORK FLOW of ABAP.?
    please explain the important questions.

How to deal with table control / step loop in BDC
Steploop and table contol is inevitable in certain transactions. When we run BDC for such transactions, we will face the situation: how many visible lines of steploop/tablecontrol are on the screen? Although we can always find certain method to deal with it, such as function code 'NP', 'POPO', considering some extreme situation: there is only one line visible one the screen, our BDC program should display an error message. (See transaction 'ME21', we you resize your screen to let only one row visible, you can not enter mutiple lines on this screen even you use 'NP')
Now with the help of Poonam on sapfans.com developement forum, I find a method with which we can determine the number of visible lines on Transaction Screen from our Calling BDC program. Maybe it is useless to you, but I think it will give your some idea.
Demo ABAP code has two purposes:
    1. how to determine number of visible lines and how to calculte page number;
(the 'calpage' routine has been modify to meet general purpose usage)
    2. using field symbol in BDC program, please pay special attention to the difference in Static ASSIGN and Dynamic ASSIGN.
Now I begin to describe the step to implement my method:
(I use transaction 'ME21', screen 121 for sample,
the method using is Call Transation Using..)
Step1: go to screen painter to display the screen 121, then we can count the fixed line on this screen, there is 7 lines above the steploop and 2 lines below the steploop, so there are total 9 fixed lines on this screen. This means except these 9 lines, all the other line is for step loop. Then have a look at steploop itselp, one entry of it will occupy two lines.
(Be careful, for table control, the head and the bottom scroll bar will possess another two fixed lines, and there is a maximum number for table line)
    Now we have : FixedLine = 9
LoopLine  = 2(for table control, LoopLine is always equal to 1)
Step2: go to transaction itself(ME21) to see how it roll page, in ME21, the first line of new page is always occupied by the last line of last page, so it begin with index '02', but in some other case, fisrt line is empty and ready for input.
Now we have: FirstLine = 0
or FirstLine = 1 ( in our case, FirstLine is 1 because the first line of new page is fulfilled)
Step3: write a subroutine calcalculating number of pages
(here, the name of actual parameter is the same as formal parameter)
global data:    FixedLine type i, " number of fixed line on a certain screen
LoopLine  type i, " the number of lines occupied by one steploop item
FirstLine type i, " possbile value 0 or 1, 0 stand for the first line of new                                                               " scrolling screen is empty, otherwise is 1

i would like to know how can i compare a switch case 1 and case 2 in C# is it possible to do that? obs i am a begginer :) I tried to do it with search and sort but it did not go well

let me give you an example if you add a word case 1( lagg ord) how can i compare that word with case 2 words ( in case 2  already exist 5 words)
    here is the my program
    using System;

  • How can you save data to a spreadsheet and use different worksheets in the spreadsheet?

I am trying to save data to a spreadsheet.
Each set of test data needs to be saved under a different worksheet. Is this possible and how can I do it?

As the example that Dennis pointed out, this can be done using activeX. In addition to that example I have another that demonstrates how to create a new workbook with multiple worksheets and save data to each of them. I hope that between the two you can get an idea of what to do.

I used to have an AOL iTunes account. I now have an iTunes account and can no longer access these files purchased under AOL iTunes account. How can I merge these accounts or even access the files under the AOL iTunes account? In addition, I can no longer access the old AOL iTunes account name.
When I try to play any of these files, I am asked to authorize the computer with the AOL iTunes account name and it does not accept the information.

There is no way to link or merge Apple IDs.

  • How can I determine at runtime the type and specs of the DAQ card a computer has installed?

I am creating a voltmeter with a record button for use in systems without LabView installed (stand alone exe's are used). My program allows users to select the scan rate on channels they have selected to view. I want to be able to determine the capabilities of the card (max sampling rate, # of channels avaliable, etc...) within LabView at runtime. Any help would be appriciated.
    Thanks...

Is there a similar type of function for NI-DAQmx? I'm trying to figure out how to programmatically query a card's number of AI channels, AO channels, CTRS's etc, without having to build up my own hard-coded table.

  • How can i compare between a javascript variable and a JSTL variable

I have a JavaScript method which has a list which i got from requestScope using JSTL and i have some items in the list. In my present JSP file i have a form having radio buttons corresponding to the items from the list. I needed to compare the value of the radio button and the JSTL value of the items in the list ie list.item (i want to compare list.items and document.form.radiobutton.value). Can anyone help me sort this out.
    thanx
    soorej

JS runs on the client, JSP/JSTL run in the server. By the time the JS is running, the JSP/JSTL stuff has stopped.
You would want to use the list in the request scope to work with the JSTL tags while the page is loaded. The JS code has nothing to do with it.

  • How can I compare more than two VIs at a same time in labview 2009

How can I compare more than two VIs at the same time. I am an Lab Engineer I have to check assignments submitted by students and I want to know how many of them are copied from each other. Labview compare VI can only compare two VI at a time while I want to check about 30 VIs at same time.
    Regards,

I'm not aware of a tool to compare multiple VIs.  If you don't find anything, consider posting this to the LabVIEW Idea Exchange to expose this idea directly to NI R&D.

  • How can i import tables from a different schema into the existing relational model... to add these tables in the existing model? plss help

how can i import tables from a different schema into the existing relational model... to add these tables in the existing relational/logical model? plss help
note; I already have the relational/logical model ready from one schema... and I need to add few more tables to this relational/logical model
can I import the same way as I did previously??
but even if I do the same how can I add it in the model?? as the logical model has already been engineered..
    please help ...
    thanks

    Hi,
Before you start, you should probably take a backup copy of your design (the .dmd file and associated folder), in case the update does not work out as you had hoped.
You need to use Import > Data Dictionary again, to start the Data Dictionary Import Wizard.
In step 1 use a suitable database connection that can access the relevant table definitions.
In step 2 select the schema (or schemas) to import.  The "Import to" field in the lower left part of the main panel allows you to select which existing Relational Model to import into (or to specify that a new Relational Model is to be created).
In step 3 select the tables to import.  (Note that if there are an Foreign Key constraints between the new tables and any tables you had previously imported, you should also include the previous tables, otherwise the Foreign Key constraints will not be imported.)
After the import itself has completed, the "Compare Models" dialog is displayed.  This shows the differences between the model being imported and the previous state of the model, and allows you to select which changes are to be applied.
Just selecting the Merge button should apply all the additions and changes in the new import.
Having updated your Relational Model, you can then update your Logical Model.  To do this you repeat the "Engineer to Logical Model".  This displays the "Engineer to Logical Model" dialog, which shows the changes which will be applied to the Logical Model, and allows you to select which changes are to be applied.
Just selecting the Engineer button should apply all the additions and changes.
I hope this helps you achieve what you want.

  • How can I compare two summary field in cross-tab?

Someone told me I must create the DB view or table via SQL, then can implete in Crystal Report. Can I implete it in Crystal Report via fomula or other function?</p><p>Thanks so much for your warm-hearted help!</p><p>Steven</p>

Hello Steven, yes you can compare summary fields, If you are comparing Summary to Target, or vice versa - you can do it within Crystal Reports.
    1. In Suppress conditional formula, create 2 Global variables: CurrentOutlook and CurrentTarger and get the current value.
    2. In Display String formula for Total show ToText(CurrentTarget/CurrentOUtlook) + "%".
For more difficult cases of compariing fields in cross--tab, you may look into http://www.relasoft.net/KB10001.html.

  • How can i compare the character fields?

  • How can I compare the actual and expected values in Unit testing when they are XML files?

I have created a unit test for a method in VS 2008. My expected value and actual value are XMLs. Therefore though the output is same as I expect it gives an error as I am doing string comparison now. How can I compare these 2 XMLs in expected output and
actual output format in Unit Testing?
    mayooran99

In unit test, when you want to validate XML files, you feed them into the class / struct that you want to feed the XML into and compare the values there (You don't just feed it in XMLReader and feed it line by line, right? But if it really is, that's how
you should also test it in unit tests).
In short, how you'd use the XML in your code, that's how you should test it in unit test.
