How can I connect a Simulink-MDL to NI-CAN

Hi all… I’m a new LabView user
I have a Simulink model that should run on a RT-PXI system, the models Input is an 8 Byte 1-D array and the output also, these are representing the 8 bytes Data from CAN. So the Model receives a CAN – Messages, process those and send CAN message(s) as result.
I’m using SIT to generate a NI-DLL from the Model, from LabView I want to “connect” the model to the CAN Hardware (PXI-8461) using NI-CAN.
Can anyone tell me how I could do this easily? Which one of the VIs generate by SIT should I use?

I understand what u mean, but that was not really my problem, just imagine my simulink model like a blackbox with one input(1x8bytes) array and one output array (1x8bytes,these 8 bytes are just data from or for a CAN Frame (ID and so on not include. so i was trying, after creating the dll, to connect it with a CAN interface throught Labview's NI CAN .
In the meantime,I have realized that the dll created has 8 inputs and 8 outputs. i understand quite what it means...
i finally modify the model_driver_base.vi to solve the problem, it works but i don't know if this is the best solution. Maybe someone knows more....

Welcome to the Apple community.
The Apple TV doesn't officially support a DVI connection, however you may be able to get it to work. You will first need to check that your TV supports either 720p or 1080p as well as HDCP. If you are able to get the video working over the DVI connection, you may also require a DAC in order to connect with Apple TV's optical audio output to the TVs audio imput.
You may well wish to make sure that the DVI connection works before spending any money on a DAC..

How can I connect my email on mulitple devices

I have my email (and my kids' email) on my mini mac, my ipad and my iphone. But they aren't connected. If I go thru my mail on one device, it's still unread on the others. It accumulates and I have to delete what I don't want three times. My work email is also on my phone, but when I delete an email from my phone it also deletes it from my laptop. So I only have to deal with each email one time. How can I set up my personal email on the multiple devices so I only have to do things once?

With multiple devices, one thing you can do is to set each to delete mail on the server after retrieving it. So if you download mail on your iPhone, it deletes what it downloaded so the iPad and mini won't see that mail.

How can I have multiple users on iTunes (in order to connect to a shared office iPad)? Currently each of us has our own iTunes account, so I've made an "all office" Apple ID. However, I can't seem to get two different accounts (my personal and the office) to work on my machine. Even when I login as "the office", my personal library is still showing. Additionally, when I try to setup with a first-time use in iTunes, I get an error that I don't meet the minimum age requirement - no matter what birthdate I enter!

The library exists regardless of which user is logged in.
The only way around that is to create different user accounts on the computer.
There is no way to have 20 unique iTunes users access a shared iTunes under a single login on the computer.

Our department (marketing) wanted to control the input of the iPads. We found out it was useless because our salesteam wanted to personalize the ipad (think about projectspecific items etc.) It is impossible for 1 person to control 10 iPads and deliver input for each different iPad. So we decided that each office can have its own account. But these ipads are already connected to 1 computer (i know you can connect them to a max. of 5 computers, but that is not enough in this case..) They can make there own account with their personal creditcard or that of the office. How can i disconnect the iPads en still remain the files on the iPads?

Whatt ype of "files" are you concerned about? Are they purchases from the AppStore or music, video etc, or something else? If you are concerned about Apps, one method of centrally distributing apps is to purchase apps with a corporate credit card, and then "gift" them to the various employees. The "gifted" app is sent to the email address you specify and can actually be forwarded, prior to install to another user for their use...

Go to Settings>General>Reset and tap Erase All Content and Settings. This will erase your device. Then you will go through the setup screens again as you did when your device was new, and when given the option, select Restore from iCloud Backup.

If you have been syncing regularly as the iphone is designed, then you can sync the data back.
Regardless you will have to restore the iphone.

ITunes musical library located on a WD 2TB, ext. drv. Computer destroyed by virus; ED survived. Bought new laptop, connected ED. Not able to see library. ED shows as 'G:' 95% full. How can I reconnect my old library to new laptop?

I had my iTunes musical library on an ext. drv. WD 2TB, ‘MY BOOK ESSENTIAL'. Three weeks ago, my computer was infected by a virus that fried it. It did not affect the external drive. I bought a new computer: a laptop, Dell XPS, Intel Core i7-2630QM CPU, Windows 7 Home Premium. I have been able to connect the WD external drive; however, I am not able to see the musical library in my iTunes or Explorer. ‘My Computer’ shows the external drive as ‘G:’ 95% full. It reads, 32.1 GB free of 1.36 TB. When I click on the drive to see its contents, it shows nothing. The library in iTunes also shows nothing. Can anyone help, please? Hmm, viruses don't generally "fry" drives. They can make bootable operating systems not bootable, hide data, and corrupt executable files. Software can potentially wipe all the data from the drive but it shouldn't be able to physically damage the drive. Bah! What's done is done.
As to unhiding your files assuming they are just hidden....
Hit Start > Run, type in CMD and press enter. Type the following at the prompt and then press enter:
attrib -h -s -r g:\*.* /d /s
This tells windows to clear the hidden, read-only, and system flags from all files on the drive, assuming of course your profile has the power to "see" the files and change them.
If that doesn't work then you may need to take ownership of the drive first. The drive may have security settings that make it "belong" to an account on your old system. Right-click on the drive in Windows Explorer and click Properties. Click the Security tab, the Advanced button, the Owner tab, then the Edit tab. Make yourself the owner, then you can make any other changes to the security settings you want to back on the Permissions tab. (If you can't change the owner log out and log back in as Administrator). For iTunes your account (or everyone) and SYSTEM need full access to all files. Any changes you make should be applied to "This folder, subfolders and files", should be inheritable and you should also replace the permissions on all child objects.

On my TV I have a 3 RCA input like on the SCART, a video RCA input and two, RCA sound input.
On the back of the TV I have two SCART I/O port.
Can I make a connection from these tools or maybe I need more stuff or another tool to do that connection?

None of those options are ideal.
What model MacBook Air do you have? If it has a Thunderbolt output you can use this:
Mini DisplayPort | Thunderbolt® to HDMI® Adapter w/ Audio Support
Then you will need to convert the HDMI video and audio signals to composite video and stereo audio with something like this:
HDMI® to Composite Video Converter
If your MacBook is an earlier model with only a Mini DisplayPort (no audio) then you need to connect its audio output directly to your TV.

Unlock the Network preference pane, if necessary, by clicking the lock icon in the lower left corner and entering your password. Cllck Advanced, open the DNS tab, and change the server addresses to the following:
          8.8.8.8
          8.8.4.4
That's Google DNS. Click OK, then Apply.
In Safari, select

and confirm. If you’re using another browser, empty the cache. Test. Any difference?

first you have to establish a ODBC DSN on your computer,
that connects to the database...you can do that from your control pannel.
i assume that the TOMCAT server is residing on your computer....(if the webserver is in other computer then you would have to create a System DSN on the data sources ODBC option in the settings>control pannel of that machine)
then you can use that DSN name to connect to the data base from the class file....for further assistance on how to create the class that access the tutorials in sun site.

What you need to do is actually add all three jar files to your class path individually. There are three jar files that come with this driver the msbase.jar, msutil.jar, and mssqlserver.jar. for sqlQ server 2000.
now the problem is that i cant find these files on my system. firstly where these files will be located. secondly are they will be used to connect to SQL Server 7.0. thirdly if not what is the procedure.
My next Problem is that I have Websphere Studio Application Developer. in which their is this facility of Database Webpages its like a wizard which makes automatically beans servlets and JSP but before that you need a Driver Name and and Class Name for to Connect to the Database.

You can search for the JDBC drivers at, http://industry.java.sun.com/products/jdbc/drivers
All the three jars that you specified are part of MsSQL Server jdbc driver. You need them (in the classpath) to get connected to the database.
"com.microsoft.jdbc.sqlserver.SQLServerDriver" is the class in mssqlserver.jar. This is the driver class which will be used to get connected to the database.
You can search in this forum for writting jdbc code (for Sql Server). If you don't find these jars, give me your e-mail id.
