How can i connect remote to Timecapsule with iCloud?

Hello,
i use my Timecapsule very often viar internet / remote (e.G. in Work and so on) with Mobile Me, but now i change to iCloud and i get an Error when i try to connect with my iCloud Logindata on the Timecapsule settings.
Is it not possible to use Timecapsule via Remote? On my other Macs i can Access withour any problem - but the Macs are very often Offline and my TimeCapsule is my Server. How i can connect remote to the Timecapsule now?

Apple brings an Update, with them it is possible to connect to TC over icloud again .

how can i connect NetBeans 6.1 with SQL Server 2005?
there is no SQL Server in Server list when we create a new Web Project and choose Server.
I'm new to NetBeans and this is my first time of posting.

The JDBC-ODBC bridge wasn't recognizing any of the primary keys I had set up in SQL Server. After lots of head banging, here's the solution I came up with:
1. Download the appropriate driver. SQL Server 2000 requires the SQL Server 2000 JDBC driver (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=07287B11-0502-461A-B138-2AA54BFDC03A&displaylang=en).
SQL Server 2005 download: (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=C47053EB-3B64-4794-950D-81E1EC91C1BA&displaylang=en)
3. After installing, right-click on "Libraries" in your project, and choose "Add Library...". Next, give it a name (i.e. SQLServer2000), and select "Class Libraries".
4. On the next screen, find the JAR files (should be in C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Driver for JDBC\lib\), and add them under the "Classpath" tab. It will now be available under "Libraries" for future projects.
5. You can now create a connection to a specific database under the "Services" tab (next to "Projects" and "Files" in the top left of the screen). Select "Microsoft Sql Server 2000 (Microsoft Driver)" and format the "Database URL" like this:
jdbc:microsoft:sqlserver//YOURSERVER:1433;DatabaseName=YOURDATABASE
1433 is the default port, though your DBA may have changed it.
I posted a simpler version of this on the NetBeans.org FAQ page - they had the following title with no content on the answer page:

I have a Time Capsule with a trio of external hard drives connected to it where I store all my files and backups.
In the past I used Mobile Me's Back to my Mac so that the USB volumes appeared in the shared area in Finder on all my Macs so that I could access my data from anywhere. Great... But...
Now that Mobile Me is gone, is there any way I can do the same with iCloud on a computer still running Leopard (and thus without an iCloud setup option in System Preferences)?

In terms of my network:
Provided by my local cable company, it includes a 1TB Time Capsule that acts as router and host to a USB hub which holds 3 external drives. The internal TC drive stores my data. One of the external drives holds the Time Machine backups from my various Macs, the other two hold media and backups for my kids' PCs, etc. Also on my network is a 5 port switch to accommodate my kids' game consoles and an old networkable DVD player. On the network are also two Airport Expresses. One of the Expresses extends the range of my wireless to the upstairs and the other hosts an inkjet printer. And, finally, on the network is a TCP-IP HP laser printer.
I have played a bit with apps like LogMeIn and Teamviewer and found they work well for things like baling my folks out of technical difficulties remotely, but preferred the Back to My Mac solution offered by Mobile Me to (relatively) safely and (totally) seamlessly mount my Time Capsule's drives as volumes in the Shared section of my Macs' Finder. No fuss, no muss! ...despite Mobile Me's less than stellar reputation, it worked perfectly for me.
I went back to work this week at my job in education and, at first, privately cursed our IT department for bumping up security over the summer break resulting in blocking my home volumes from appearing. Then I realized, of course, that since last I sat at my desk, the Mobile Me service had be closed down and that was the real culprit for the loss of my mounted home volumes.
And, as established earlier in this discussion, my old iMac was never going to play nice with Lion or better to move up to iCloud, so I was going to have to go back to the drawing board.
I appreciate your eBay suggestion. However, although not a domain client, as my old iMac does reside on the school board's network, I'm fairly certain the VPN route would not be an option. I don't imagine building a secure tunnel to my data storage at home would be a priority to our IT department! <G>
USB Flash drives are a pain to sync and keep track of, but I guess that is what I will have to do for work.

Do you have plain LabVIEW or LabVIEW + DSC (i.e. Datalogging and Supervisory Control module in the Prof. Control Development Suite)?

I have written a C program, that converts a ASCII File in format what DIADem can read. But now I would like to integrate this C Program in my DiaDem VBSscript. How can I do this?

I'm not sure what kikiduu has in mind exactly. VBScript can invoke object variables from external COM objects or ActiveX servers. So if you build a COM wrapper around the C DLL or in any other way expose the DLL such that a program can invoke an object variable from it, then I agree that this is a valid option. The VBScript command to invoke an object variable from an external definition is CreateObject(). The other option here is to use the shareware "DynaWrap" to dynamically wrap your DLL, but I hear this does not always work, although it certainly works some of the time.
But really, developing C code to help DIAdem read an ASCII file is serious overkill. The native way to go about this would be to create a VBScript DataPlugin to read the ASCII file. Would you be able to post or email ([email protected]) an example of one of these ASCII files for me to take a look at? If it's a simple enough file, I'll just create a DataPlugin for you. VBScript DataPlugins offer the ability to describe how the data is stored in the ASCII file, so that the actual file parsing is done in C in the DataPlugin engine. Performance is therefore rarely a limitation in this approach, and you get superior integration into the DIAdem environment, including automatic DataFinder file indexing, selective and reduced file loading, registered file loading, channel previews in the NAVIGATOR, etc.

How can i synchronize my outlook 2011 with icloud

I've just been googling a lot, but didn't find a answer to my question, just people who find the same problem actually. I was wondering if anyone could save this puzzle yet:
After some tests I learned, that mac—when you first activate your iCloud—uses two different contact and calendar sources: the local and the one exported to the cloud. So as for my office solution I need a three step synchronization. I work with Outlook 2011 and use this calendar, and also quite frequently my calendar on my iphone. So of course I would want them synchronized as much as possible.
What my mac does: synchronizes phone and mac calendar perfectly, not the Outlook calendar though. As I saw in the Outlook preferences, Outlook is only connected to the local calendar. Therefor all events disappear when I cleaned out my mac calendar of double events (local and iCloud appeared there).
How can I get my Outlook to take the iCloud calendar as main source?
I also faced that problem in my mac adressbook (which synchronizes with Oultook): there I do have double contacts too, since you can't deactivate the local contact account.
Not good :-( I'd be very happy if someone had some anwers.

Outlook is not compatible with iCloud, you should change your contacts and calendars to iCal and address book.

Yes, I am try isn't. To figure how to sync mail as well, just a pop account. It appears it his cannot be done. The response you received to just setup email directly on the device does not answer the question. Yes, that is easy to do, but does not sync with devices which is the objective. Are there more features coming from cloud??

What you are after is a Cisco 2509. They come in two forms. One has 8 RJ45 async serial ports which you can use to connect to the console ports of a router using a RJ45-RJ45 rollover cable. The other has a single AUI port which you can buy an octopus cable with 8 connections off it. It too can be used to connect to the console ports of up to eight devices.

How can I connect two Time Capsules with UTP

I have one TC connected with UTP (WAN-port) on my modem to Internet on the second floor. I have a good WiFi-signal on the second floor.
I bought on new TC to get a better WiFi-signal on the first floor and also used for backup.
I like to connect TCold with TCnew with UTP to get a great network. I shoos UTP-connection in stead of WiFi, to get a faster performance from my network.
So I will use both WiFi-signals from both TC's, but de TC must be communicate with UTP, not with WiFi.
I think I connect UTP in my LAN-port from TCold
Which ports do I use on the TCnew (WAN-port or LAN-ports)?
How do I configurate de software?
Sometimes I see not 2 but 4,5 or 6 TC's in my network???
When I disconnect UTP between the TC's the connection with WiFi is 450 Mbit/s.
When I connect UTP between the TC's the connection is 217 Mbbit/s????????????

The main thing is that TCnew is in bridge mode..
Open the airport utility.. go to the TCnew and select it as bridge mode.
Then go to the wireless tab, and create a wireless network of the same name and security as the TCold.
You are probably in extend wireless now and that is wrong.

Hi I wondered if anyone could help me as i am new to apple pc's
I have recently got a macbook air and i am trying to have file sharing with both pc's unfortunately whatever i try does no allow both pc's to see each other. If i try the connect to server method using smb then log in screen just shakes and wont accept a valid login offer. The windows pc also does not see the mac in the network which i guess does not help. On several forums there is a suggestion that this used to work on earlier versions of apple os

On the OS X side it's very simple, System Preferences - Sharing - checkmark File Sharing box and then choose the Users and Shared Folders. On the MS Windows side you will need to turn that on too, however I don't use Windows so I can't help. However I was able to find this simple 15 step (saracasm intended) page:

Apple TV output is hdmi if whatever you're connecting the Apple TV to has no hdmi input
You'd have to adapt hdmi to VGA which is the most common connection
VGA doesn't have any provision for sound so you'll need a hdmi to VGA adaptor that has a audio connection
The audio connection will need to be connected to a sound system of some sort
Apple TV will allow you to wirelessly mirror iPad to whatever is connected to the Apple TV you'll also need a wireless connection for this to work
