How can I convert a PDF with a XFA file format

I have an application that reader will not send, and it will not let me convert it to word or any other format.  I keep getting an error message that forms with an XFA format are not compatible.

Convert how: using Acrobat, or the ExportPDF service?

I need to convert a .pdf with active links to a single file HTML file.  Any advice?

Yes, but it's saving it with files associated.  I need it to be a single file version.  Thanks for the reply.
Of course it is. It sounds like what you want would be just a .jpg. Web pages are seldom ever just one file unless they are strictly text. More than likely you have some images (maybe even images of text) involved so you could never get one file.

  • How can I convert a PDF/A file into a PDF file with Acrobat Pro X?

How can I convert a PDF/A file into a PDF file with Acrobat Pro X? I'd like to modifiy the file which I have only as a PDF/A.

There's two answers if you want to modify the file:
You can temporarily turn off PDF/A Mode in your preferences, so they don't open as read-only. The problem would be if you do something to the file that violated the PDF/A standard, so you should always run a Preflight check afterwards to make sure.
If you want to remove the PDF/A header tag, use Preflight again - it's on the Print Production Panel in Acrobat X Pro (which may be hidden, use the options menu on the Tools Pane to show it). There's a profile called "Remove PDF/A information" - choose this and press Analyze and Fix. Nothing else about the file will be altered but when you save and reopen it all the editing tools will become active.

  • How can I convert a pdf to OSX10.8 so I can submit a manuscript to the itunes store. I have a windows computer only.

How can I convert a pdf file to an OSX.10 so I can submit a manuscript to the itunes store?

Perhaps you want to submit an "ePub" to iTunes?
If so then revisit the authoring files for the manuscript and go to ePub from there.
Getting to ePub from PDF is really rather awkward.
Lotsa "use me", "use me" software that purports to solve this; but, really, it doesn't.
So, again - - authoring files to ePub.
One example: use Word and Calibre.
    Might groom with Sigil.
Pipe out the finalized ePub to iTunes.
    Do the Snoopy dance.

I receive from my bank the monthly bankstatement as PDF file.
How can I convert a PDF file in a CVS format in order to download this in a budgetprogramme on my computer?

Try converting your PDF file to an Excel (.xlsx) file with the ExportPDF service.  You can then use Excel to save that file as a .CSV file.  ExportPDF does not output .csv

Reader cannot convert files to Word. There is an ExportPDF service with its own forum to help with issues to the service. However, converting files to Word is by its very nature an iffy proposition. How well it works depends upon the content of the file and how it was created.

  • How can I convert a pdf file that's larger than 100MB to word

How can I convert a pdf file that's larger than 100MB to word?
I have just paid $20 to Adobe to get this facility but It won't work ,
as the pdf is larger than 100MB,
I actually believe that I have paid twice for adobe but I'll take this up with them,
    in the meantilme,
do you have any suggestions, I really need this material in word urgently,
    many thanks

If your files are this large, ExportPDF is the wrong tool for you. You need Adobe Acrobat, which runs locally and does not need to send your files to Adobe.

How can I convert a .pdf file to an Indesign CC file which is editable?

    Hi btacme,
I understand there are some third-party utilities that will allow you to convert a PDF to an InDesign file. But, as PDF is intended to be a final format, Adobe doesn't offer this capability. Are you unable to make the edits that you need by opening the PDF in Acrobat?

  • How can I convert a pdf document fully

how can i convert a pdf document fully

What do you want to convert a pdf to? There is the Adobe ExportPDF service and of course Acrobat can convert files as well as long as you want to convert to Word or perhaps Excel. The quality of the conversion depends upon its content and how it was created. If you want to convert it do a different format then you have to give us more info.
