You are attempting to do this in a very difficult manner. Why not simply get an AppleTV ($75 refurbished from Apple) and you can share all your iPhoto content on your TV. That would be much easier than exporting to a CD/DVD, loading it into a player and then playing from a DVD. Apple tells about setting up Home Sharing in http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4352.

how can i remove pictures from my droid turbo without having to use the touch screen on the phone at all? my screen is cracked and i am waiting on a replacement phone. as far as i can tell in order to access the phone storage through my computer, i have to use the touchscreen to enable it so that the computer will see it as a camera. I can't do that as the top half of the touschscreen is unresponsive. any suggestions? teaches me to use the backup services offered in the future, but i still need a short term solution for this time.

I'm sorry to hear your screen is cracked spence425. I know its difficult to use the phone while its damaged. I'm happy you are receiving a replacement device. Unfortunately, you will be unable to remove any data from the phone if the screen is unresponsive but if you are looking to transfer data to your new phone, it would have needed to be saved via the cloud first. If the music is on the same computer, import the songs to your iTunes library by dragging them into iTunes or choosing File > Add to Library (Mac) or File > Add File to Library or Add Folder to Library (Windows). If the music is on different computers you can set up Home Sharing to copy the music from one library to the other (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3819 and http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4620).

I'm very late to the conversation but thought I'd chime in since I've just been dealing with this myself. One way to copy from Kindle books is to make sure that you have your settings to backup highlights etc. online, then highlight the text in the Kindle app, go to your Kindle webpage (https://kindle.amazon.com/your_highlights) and copy the text from there.
Remember, to be able to do this you have to set the app to backup highlights etc. I think this is set individually for each book. On my iPad the default is to backup.

You can only transfer photos from the Camera Roll. Photos in other albums had to come from your computer to begin with and should still be there.

Just a note about the difference between these two things:
* "export" and "import" use an ancient HTML document format that all browsers can understand. When you import bookmarks, Firefox may place them into an Imported Bookmarks folder, or into Unsorted Bookmarks. This does not displace existing bookmarks, and Firefox does not automatically remove duplicates.
* "backup" and "restore" use a more comprehensive JSON data file, which contains extra information about your bookmarks (such as tags) not contained in the traditional export file. HOWEVER, a restore completely replaces all existing bookmarks, so the restore feature cannot be used to merge in a set of additional bookmarks.

It will sort the column, but then it changes the other colums as well. I know that if I use Numbers, it will work, but I want to know how to do the same thing in Pages.

Numbers sorts full rows on values in selected column(s). The technique for sorting a single column is essentially the same as Jerry is describing for Pages tables—separate the (data in the) column to be sorted, sort it, return it to the table.
In Numbers the actual column may be separated from the original table, sorted, then returned. In Pages, the data must be extracted, sorted, then pasted back in, overwriting the unsorted data (if it was left in the original table).
iWork tables follow a database model in which each row is a Record, and each column holds a Field within the records.
As evidenced by the current question (and several similar questions arising in the Numbers community) that model doesn't apply to the way some users, especially some who come in from the MS Excel world, use tables.
With Excels model—islands of data on a single large table, the ability to sort one or a selected few columns of data makes sense. One 'island' may comprise only cells AA21:AH50. Sorting that small 'table' should be possible without disturbing the rest of rows 21-30, which are probably part of one or more other 'data islands' in the sea that is a MS Excel spreadsheet.
In Numbers, each of those 'islands' would be a separate Table, and that Table would be sortable without disturbing other Tables in the document.

Can I connect my iMac's iTunes library via wi-fi to my Blu-Ray player so I can listen to the music on my computer with my home theater system?

My music library is on my iMac, located in a different room of the house than my home theater system with a decent Denon receiver and good Infinity towers. I have an iPod connector to the Denon which I can use, but the iPod has a limited library of songs, so I would like to somehow access my iMac music library and be able to play it through the home theater system. Hard wiring the components is out of the question due to length of run through several rooms of the house, no basement and cathedral ceilings. I already have my iMac and my Panasonic Blu-Ray player both connected to my wi-fi, and it seems there should be a way to connect both of them using the wi-fi. The blu-ray player is DLNA, but the Mac isn't, so that is out of the question. Is there any other way to get these components to talk to each other over wi-fi?

There is a DLNA media server called MediaLink that is designed for use with the Play Station 3. It is not advertised as working with other DLNA clients but it usually will. I use it to stream audio, video and pictures to a WDTV media player in my bedroom. Works great, even supports iTunes playlists. I believe it still has a free trial period so you can see if it works with your player.

So at the moment I just have a numeric value being display with a numeric indicator. I want to record this value somewhere for later use. Such as doing calculations. I want to store many numeric values that are outputed to this single indicator at different times and then pull them from the stored place and use them. So there isn't really anything related to the question yet in may code.
My code shows movement control for a motor.
I have a forwards button which increments +1 for every iteration of the loop. Each loop sends a pulse to the motor to move it.
I have a backwards button which increments -1 for every iteration of the loop. In this loop i have just placed the direction pulse which tells the motor to turn the oposite way.
these increments add onto a counter which is shown as the numerical indicator, used to show the position of the motor.
I also have a reset button on this motor. To change the position to zero.
So now what i want is to put the value of the position of the motor into an array which will then stay at that value in the array even when the position moves again. So i can record different positions.
I then want to use these values. so i want to know how to get them from the array to the Number of iterations for a For loop so i can move the motor by that amount.
Your help is appriciated, ive already spent so much time getting to this stage.
