I am making an instructional video with a lot of text overlaying my video. Is there a way to create a set of text styles that I apply to all text in the sequence (i am thinking font, shadow, and size, alignment). Sort of how you make a video filter...

There are a few ways to do this. One would be to create a text generator clip with the style you want, then just copy that and paste it where needed ... then alter the text in the new copy.
But I'd recommend using the Boris Title 3D text generator that came bundled with FCE. It allows you to save styles that can be loaded at any time.

i want to create a pre calculation(contribution accounting) for Materials in BI-Integrated Planning. These Materials aren't in the master data. So I create a new Info Object for pre calculated materials with only a material-number as key and a text-description.
Now I want to write a Exit-Function, which creates new materials in these Info Object. The user should start this function in a planning application in BexAnalyzer. There the user should have the possibility to enter a text-description for the new material. How can I create such a Text-Field in BexAnalyzer and how can I read this text filed in a planning function (exit).

Hi Jürgen,
you can create a parameter for this in the exit function and a variable for the parameter. In BEx Analyzer then create a button for the planning function; in the button parameterization use VAR_NAME = , i.e. use an Excel formula here to get the value from an Excel input field.
The command range should be some 'hidden area' in your Excel sheet.
But may be you don't need this. Use a characteristic without master data. Then ensure that that the query uses the option 'key' as display. In new lines you can then enter the key, the system creates a SID on the fly (but the text table will not be updated). In this scenario you may take text also from the key. May be you can update the text table (online or in batch) by simply using function modules from function group RSNDI_MD (not released by SAP).
But observere that the system in BI Planning reads only the active version, i.e. if you change something on the fly the changes may not be visible.

How can I add a Text Template Binding to an UML Class within a MenuCommand Execute Method?

I am using Visual Studio 2013 Ultimate with Visual Studio SDK and the Modeling SDK.
I am trying to develop an Visual Studio Extension (VSIX) which contains new MenuCommands.
So if I execute a MenuCommand I want to add a new TemplateBinding for a specific class
something like that:
IClass aspectClass = rootPackage.CreateClass();
aspectClass.TemplateBindings.ToList().Add(new TemplateBinding());
aspectClass.CreateTemplateBinding();
aspectClass.CreateTemplateParameter();
I have already created a new text template file (.tt) and I also want to pass values to this text template file when the
menu command will be executed if this is possible?
So the goal is
1. To execute a custom menu command to add a custom text template file to a specific UML Class
2. To execute the "generate code" menu command to get a generated CSharp file which is conform to my custom text template file
I know this is possible via the GUI, but is this also possible via code?

Per my knowedge, you can display the following url in your email body:

[%Current Item: Encoded Absolute URL%]
Please start the workflow automatically when an item is changed and changed.
No matter how you edit the item or update the approve status, the URLs remains the same.

Sorry you can't remove the label of a field. When the Label is on the Left (either left aligned or right aligned) then you can resize the label (using drag and drop) but there is still a min width that the label must have. You can also change the Label to be Above but that might not work with your spacing either.

I have this frustrating situation. I want to use the move and scale animation feature for objects in Keynote 08. But on many slides, I want to have Text Curved or Bent, around an arc shape (around a graphic we use). Now Powerpoint 08 has this easy way of Editing any text into a curved or arc shape. But it does not have the motion and scale object feature. Key note has the motion feature but it seems can't handle curved text?
How can I curve text in Keynote 08 (or 09)?

You can't curve text in Keynote, so there's no way to animate a curve around a shape. However, if you find that just curved text will do even if you can't animate it, you'd have to use something like ArtText.

Recently, I writed a programe about creating a text file and writing data into it in the server application folder. My code is as following:

But when I run it, FMS throw the error as following: File operation open failed ; TypeError: fileObj has no properties.

Supplement: The text file named test.txt doesn't exist before create the fileObj, an instance of File Class.

Is MyApp the name of the application directory, or is it a child of the application directory? If myApp is the app name, just use test.txt as the path flag in the file constructor.

Simple Stroke-based wipes with a measure of Roughen Edges thrown in on top of Brush strokes created in Photoshop or Illustrator using Bristle/ Art Brushes. Basic stuff. Just typing in "stroke reveal" on a web search will hit you with gigazillions of tutorials.

You need to use LiveCycle (PC Only) to create a dynamic form like that.
The best you can do with Acrobat to view all of the text in a field is to set the field to multiline, and set the size to "Auto" (If you don't set the size to 'Auto', you can enter as much text as you wish, but the user will need to use the scrollbar to view all of the text.)
