How can I create tabbed panels using Dreamwaever CC, similar to Spry version available in CS6?
I used Spry tabbed panels in a site. Need to recreate that page on another site using Dreamweaver CC. CC has no Spry components anymore. Can anyone suggest a 3rd party product or alternative method to make similar panels in a page without having to hand code html-css-java?
Haven’t begun to try it yet. Looking at some tutorials.
But I appreciate the heads up.

How can I create an iBook using iBooks Author using images from a PDF?
I have a complex book with custom fonts and lots of images, and the client wants it on the iPad. So my most reasonable option seems to be to take images from a PDF and use them for the pages. However, images in iBook Author don't get "laid out" as expected in Portrait mode. How can I create a layout that is essentially one image per page in portrait mode, and then convert that to landscape mode? Or is there an easier way to go about this?

I don't understand why portrait mode defaults images and other "widgets" to thumbnails. The original format of the book (and of 99% of all books I'm guessing) is in portrait format. By forcing the book to work only in landscape mode it's forcing the page image to be half the size, and that makes using this book particularly difficult. Is there no way to force the pages to be full-size in portrait mode? -

How can I create a function using TestStand variables and call it from a step's Pre-Expression?
In one sequence I have dozens of Pre-Expressions which are almost the same thing, like this...

...and the only thing different is that three digit string at the end ("006" will vary). How can I write a function that I can call from a step's Pre-Expression so it would look something like this? ...

That being said, there are a couple of options:
Create a subsequence with a single step. Use a parameter of the sequence as "function parameter".
Create a custom step type including a substep module which implements the function. Add an edit substep to enable the user of the steptype to gracefully change the parameter.
Store the variable parameter in a local/file global variable and modify the value in each step. This will, at least, keep the "function" the same for every step.

I've also found the following article. It talks about how the OIM API can get an authenticated user session from the authenticated WLS session. It's tantalizing! Hi all, I'm just wondering how I can create a black and white image similar to what I see in the preview window of the "Replace Color" tool. See attached screenshot for clarification -- I need the grass to be black while the soil is white or vice versa. Any tips?
One way is to use Select>Color Range
Make a new Color Fill Layer>White
(Layer>New Fill Layer>Solid Color)
Put a new color fill layer below>black
Just invert the layer mask on the top fill layer for the opposite effect. -
How can I restore the firefox session when there is no previous version available?
I had a lot of tabs opened for months now but this has happened before when I was able to restore the tab history in the profile folder in firefox with the "sessionstore.js" file and look up previous versions that were available. When I exited firefox and did a restart on my computer all of a sudden when it came back on it didnt restore the session I had previously opened. I went to the profile folder and tried to look up previous versions of that sessionstore.js file and the bak file too and it said it was no previous versions available. How can this happen all of a sudden when I exited and restarted the computer? I have Firefox set to remember the history and tab history and session restore to restore it all but yet this mess happens. Can anyone guide me into what to do for other things that can restore this session in Firefox because I know I didn't loose this for nothing and It has to be somewhere to restore all my tabs back. Any help?
Awesome, glad you know about that Previous version trick.
There's a catch though. It never works for me if you check for previous versions on the individual Firefox files. You have to check previous versions on the actual firefox profile folder.
So to view the folders, navigate to where your Firefox profile folder lives: C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\[random].default\
Right-click on the [random].default folder and choose Restore previous versions. Choose a folder dated from before this accident and click the "Open" button. You should find a safely backed up sessionstore.js file there. ;) Lastly, copy the file to another safe location and copy it back into the Firefox profile.
