How can I cut/paste a rasterized PDF?

I have a bunch of scanned-in PDF documents. I want to cut parts out from one scanned-in document and paste it into another scanned-in document. They aren't individual pictures, rather just pieces of the document. I can't figure out how to accomplish this. Everything I read is documenting a PDF that has Text, Pictures, etc, where my document is just one rasterized picture that I want to cut up.

What you're doing wrong is you're trying to work with PDF files like
they're images. For this kind of work you should use an image editing
application, like Photoshop. Convert the PDF files to images (ore re-scan
the pages, this time to an image format like TIFF), and then do it there.
When done you can create a PDF file from that image.

How can I Cut & paste an address from one address book to another on my PC.

My work computer has 3 address books - 1 personal address book, 2 collected address book, 3 work related address book.
After a couple of years I would like to tidy up my address books & cut & paste some of them from here to there. However there seems to be no cut & paste or copy & paste feature that I can locate anywhere????
I can't drag & drop an address from one to another either.
Can anyone please help

Cut and paste a whole contacts information has never available because it entails different components. Cut/Copy and paste has always been available if you are only selecting one part of the information, but this means you have to open a specific contacts Properties.

In the left Directory Pane, select the address book containing the contact you want to move. You should see a list of contacts in the right Contact Pane.
Drag & Drop process:
* Left click and hold down on a contact in the list to grab, then drag that contact to the left and hover over the address book where you want to put the contact. Then release the mouse button to drop into that address book.
You can move more than one contact.
* Hold down 'Ctrl' key and use mouse to select and highlight various contacts.
* then use the D&D process - (left click, hold down on any highlighted contact to grab all highlighted contacts).

How can I cut/paste/save Desktop Nature Preinstalled Photos

I really like some of the pre-installed photos that exist in System Preferences for Desktop choices...and am trying to figure out if I can save them to iphoto or cut and paste them elsewhere....When I tried, I couldnt figure it out.
basically, when you go to system preferences/desktop&screensaver/desktop and you have all those pictures under apple - from nature to plants to black/white to abstract etc
Is there a way to save them or cut and paste them if I want to use them somewhere else (such as itunes artwork for example or sende one in an email to somebody)

You can do one of the following after you have highlighted what you want to copy:

*in Windows, click Ctrl+C to "Copy" (Ctrl+V will "Paste")

You are trying to copy a link, it is most likely in a different color such as the words "Microsoft's own forums" in his post. In Word highlight the word or words, control click on them, select Hyperlink, then Edit Hyperlink, then delete the link from the top box. It will then have a button asking if you want to "Remove Link", click on it.

hold your finger down in the body of the mail - the part you want to copy. a blue box will comeup and offer to 'select/select all' or something like that. choose the appropriate choice. If you only want part of it that bubble will have two handles that allow you to drag out the selection box.
then hold your finger down again and another bubble will come up offering to cut/copy the words. choose copy
then navigate to your notes app (not sure about the textbook, depends on whether or not it support it) and hold your finger down in an empty text area. you'll get another blue bubble offering to paste it. choose that and the words should appear. then save as appropriate.

Open the movie and press "Command J". This will bring up the properties window. Click on the Audio Track or Video Track and the "Extract/Delete" buttons will light up. Click "Delete" and it'll delete the currently selected track, click "Extract" and it will extract the selected track into a new movie. Just use Delete on the correct track and you're halfway there.
Then, select the movie that is just an Audio Track now, do "Command A" then "Command C" to copy the audio track. Go to the movie that's just a video track, move the insertion point to the beginning of the video then do "Option Command V" to add the Audio Track to the Video Track side by side.

No, it is form layers for a cutting machine, when you save to pdf from ill or indesign you can select make acrobat layers but not in photoshop.

HT1212 I took the passcode lock off of my iPhone 5 and now I can't get on to my iPad. It is asking for the passcode and when I use the one that was set up it locks me out. How can I get past this?

I have the iPhone 5 and with the new sofware update it added a passcode lock. Same for the iPad. I removed the passcode lock from my iPhone and now I can access my iPad. It is still asking for the four digit passcode. I tried using the one that was orgingally programed and it disables it every time. How can I get past this? I have tried to do a restore and it still takes me back to the lock screen. Please help!
