How can I delete a template

The envelope templates provided generate a "media not loaded correctly". I made my own that works, but in the process I made and saved one that also generates the "media not loaded correctly" error. I would like to get rid of that one (or at least re-title it). I can't see how to do that.

Pages stores those you created & saved as templates in (your account) > Library > Application Support > iWork > Pages > Templates > My Templates. Follow that path in Finder & you can delete them like any other file.

You can do the following to delete a template:
Delete a custom template from the Template Chooser
Click the Finder icon in the Dock and choose Go > Go to Folder.
To open the Templates folder, enter:~/Library/Application Support/iBooks Author/Templates/My Templates/
Find the custom template and drag it to the Trash.

How can I delete a template I made earlier, which i don't like?

I recently bought an iMac after years of working on PCs with MS Office. I decided to go 100% Apple, big mistake 'cos I find Pages and Numbers really difficult to get to grips with after years of working with excel and word.
I don't find the Help much help either! Sorry to winge but thats how it is! Anyway, can anyone help with deleting a template i created and no longer want?

Your profile lists your OS as 10.6.6. If you've updated, you should change that listing.
To delete a custom template, switch to Finder.app where all deletion of files happens, and hold down the Command key while you click on the Go menu. Select Library.
In the Library folder, navigate to:
Application Support
IWork
Pages
Templates
My Templates
Select the template you wish to delete and drag it to the Trash or Control-Click and select "Move to trash".

You can close out the Template Chooser by hitting the red button.
If you go to applications>iWorks>Pages> and control click on the app>this opens PackageContents>>Contents>Resources>Templates
You can delete here. I would not advise it. I would have a back-up of your Pages.app or a system back-up incase something goes awry.

I suggest you update your profile to show your current version of OS X. Click on "Your Stuff" at the top right of this page & choose profile (bottom of the list) then click edit.

Any suggestions how can I delete or archive items with DocTitle as *.html ? These are the email templates checked in by Fusion Apps, and all I know are the DocTitles.
Archive servervice seems a better way to delete items at same time keep a backup. but not sure what's the correct way to setup/use the "aExportQuery" parameter. Seems it's been ignored from the ADD_ARCHIVE and EXPORT_ARCHIVE idccommands, codes listed below.

You could use the Archiver app. You can use that app as-needed or set it up so that all items are setup to delete once they're checked in.

As to where to put the code, edit your web template, then put the code in there. There are script web items that you can use, but be aware that editing javascript in the script item is not too pleasant. I have found the best approach is to rather create the javascript file on my machine, then upload it to the MIME repository, then reference that in the web template.
Here is how I have referenced the javascript file sitting in our MIME repository:

You can't do this, and you can't transfer purchases between accounts. There is no conflict about using one ID for iTunes, iTunes in the Cloud and iTunes Match (the ID you've been using for iTunes) and using the other ID for iCloud.
