I have backed up all my photos from my Camera Roll on my computer. I know wish to free up that space. It is 1300 photos. I do not have time to sit and tap through each moment and delete. Too many moments. There must be a quicker way to delete all photos from the iPhone memory drive, either from the iPhone itself or iTunes.

I-Tunes should open.
Toward the top left of the page, click on the small I-Phone icon.
Select Music in the sidebar.
In the right window, your music should appear.
De-select what you don't want, then click Sync.

I am trying to delete all the music from my iPhone 5 and reinstall it. The names of some of the albums and the artists did not import correctly from my CDs. I went back into iTunes and made corrections, synced my phone and no changes were made to the music on my phone. And two of the albums (I only have albums, not individual songs) are duplicated on the phone, though they are not in my iTunes library.
I have gone into iTunes, selected the device at the top right corner, selected all the music that showed up in the window - gone to the Edit menu, selected "all" and then "delete." The list of tracks disappears from the device list. I then synced the phone again, and the albums are still on the phone. What am I missing, please? I've even shut the phone down and restarted it, synced it again, but nothing changes.
Help, please?

backup the device and restore it as new.
If you already have or don't need a backup:
Erase your device
Erasing all content and settings will delete all the data from your device, including songs, videos, contacts, photos, calendar information, and any other data. All device settings are restored to their factory condition.

Hi All, my iPhone 5S is full of photos (1326) or so. however the camera roll is 827. there is an album named "My Photo Stream" which has 466 from My Computer and under it is "Shared" which has 12 from my computer. Can anybody help me to remove both these albums as there taking up a lot of space and I have tried everything to remove them!!!

On option is to open your my photo stream album in the thumnail view, tap Edit, tap all the photos, tap Share, tap Save to Camera Roll. Then import them to your computer using your usb cable (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083). A more convenient option is to use an app like PhotoSync, which will transfer all your photos from any album (including photo stream) to any of your devices (including your computer) over wifi by pressing a single button.

How can I delete all music files from my iPhone and start again?

I rebuilt my iTunes library. I was under the impression that the first post-rebuild sync would erase all media from my iPhone.
Under the Summary tab in iTunes, I checked Sync only checked songs and videos, and in my music list all songs are unchecked.
Under the Music tab in iTunes, I checked Sync Music, and because all my songs are unchecked it shows 0 songs.
However, after syncing, the status bar at the bottom of the Music tab still shows all my songs previously loaded as taking up memory, and when I open the Music app on my iPhone all those songs are still listed (although they are not playable).
How can I clear everything out and start from scratch?

How can I delete all the songs from my iPhone 5s.

The software is up to date so its not that. I have also turned off the 'show all' option and there are still tracks left. It won't let me drag the songs sideways to delete, and when I connect the phone on my iTunes and click un-sync it from my music it STILL doesn't remove all of it (despite a message saying this will remove all songs and playlists- rubbish).

Connect to you're laptop. If you are using Windows:
Click "File Explorer"
Click "Computer"
Click the iPhone
Find "Camera Rolll"
Select all of the photos and delete them.
For Mac:
No idea how macs work but it should be something like the instructions for Windows :-/
As far as Photo Stream, they will automatically be deleted after 30 days and they do not take up iCloud space so you have nothing to worry about.

As you are clearly aware, it is important for you to have backups of your important data, including all of these photos you are currently keeping on your iPhone. While it is possible to use iTunes or iCloud to do backups of your iPhone, the problem becomes how to access those backups if you have deleted the photos from your iPhone. Once you have done the backup and then removed the photos from the iPhone, the only way to access the photos is by restoring the backups to the phone. Photos on your iPhone that were transferred from your computer via the iTunes sync process cannot be deleted direct from the iPhone. These photos are removed from your iPhone the same way - via the iTunes sync process.
Photos in the Camera Roll can be deleted direct from the iPhone. With the Camera Roll selected, select the icon at the top right. Select the photos you want to delete followed by selecting the Red delete button at the bottom right.

When creating a book in iphoto, how can I get all the photos from the album I want to use to show up in the order that they are in the album? When I tried to use the option to add my own photos instead of having the program "flow" them, they showed up all mixed up.

iPhoto puts them in the book in chronological order. So to get your photos from an album into an iPhoto book in the same order you will need to use the Photos ➙ Batch Change ➙ Date menu option and set them all to the same date with a 1 minute time difference between each.

To copy photos that were originally synced from a computer you will need a third-party app such as Simple Transfer which can copy them off via your wifi network. But as photos are 'optimised' when they are synced to the iPad, any that you then copy back to a computer may not be exactly the same as they originally were on your computer.
You should also be able to copy albums that you've created directly on the iPad via apps such as Simple Transfer (though I haven't tried it)
