How can I delete all the songs from my iPhone 5s.

The software is up to date so its not that. I have also turned off the 'show all' option and there are still tracks left. It won't let me drag the songs sideways to delete, and when I connect the phone on my iTunes and click un-sync it from my music it STILL doesn't remove all of it (despite a message saying this will remove all songs and playlists- rubbish).

I am trying to delete all the music from my iPhone 5 and reinstall it. The names of some of the albums and the artists did not import correctly from my CDs. I went back into iTunes and made corrections, synced my phone and no changes were made to the music on my phone. I finally went to Apple Care tech support (the best!) for help.
Plug your phone into the computer.
I-Tunes should open.
Toward the top left of the page, click on the small I-Phone icon.
Select Music in the sidebar.
In the right window, your music should appear.
De-select what you don't want, then click Sync.
Voila.
I am running Yosemite 10.1.1
I-Phone 4S 8.1

I have a user account with a huge amount of mail (around 50K messages) that Apple Mail can't deal with... it constantly hangs and/or crashes whether I use POP or IMAP to try and delete all the mail from the client.
How can I delete all the mail from the mailbox on the server? I don't want to delete the account entirely, I just want to empty everything out of it.

If you've already deleted "everything else"...then plug your phone into a power source and: Settings>General>Reset>Erase All Content & Settings.
Make sure you plug into a power source first...not your computer...as on an iPhone 3G, this can take some time. When finished, all data will be gone.

Depends whether you have selected Lock when Full or Wrap when Full for the Buffer Mode. If you have selected Lock When Full, the capture will stop when the the buffer is full. You can then Save the Buffer and download it in the form of sniffer file and start you capture again. This will over write the old data. If you have selected Wrap when Full, then it will continue the capture when the buffer is full. The oldest packets are discarded as new packets arrive.

backup the device and restore it as new.
If you already have or don't need a backup:
Erase your device

I feel I've explained plenty what you must do but you aren't getting it.
All music on your old iPhone should be in your iTunes library on your computer. Transfer the music from your iTunes library on your computer to your new iPhone in the same way it was transferred from your iTunes library to your old iPhone - via the iTunes sync/transfer process.
Since you prefer the manual way, you must manually drag and drop the same 377 songs from your iTunes library to your new iPhone - in the same way the 377 songs were manually transferred from your iTunes library to your old iPhone.
Or you can sync which provides more options overall. Create an iTunes playlist for the 377 songs. Select Sync Music under the Music tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes and choose selected playlists, artists, albums, and genres. Select the iTunes playlist below that includes the 377 songs followed by a sync.

My computer has died and will not be working ever again. Problem is, i have all of my songs on that computer in my itunes library as well as on my phone. It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for this very occasion. Use your backup copy of your computer to put everything on the new one.
If for some reason you have failed to backup, big mistake, then you can transfer itunes purchases from the iphone to the computer: File>Transfer Purchases
You may be able to buy a 3rd party program to get any other music off of the iphone ( not supported by Apple).
When you sync the iphone, it will erase the current content and replace with content form the new computer.

I have one of the older pink creative zen micro's and I want to delete all of my songs from it as most of them are really old and I want to put some new ones on there. However, I have recently got a new computer so lost my installation of the zen micro and I cannot find the disc for it so I cannot install it.

I rebuilt my iTunes library. I was under the impression that the first post-rebuild sync would erase all media from my iPhone.
Under the Summary tab in iTunes, I checked Sync only checked songs and videos, and in my music list all songs are unchecked.
Under the Music tab in iTunes, I checked Sync Music, and because all my songs are unchecked it shows 0 songs.
However, after syncing, the status bar at the bottom of the Music tab still shows all my songs previously loaded as taking up memory, and when I open the Music app on my iPhone all those songs are still listed (although they are not playable).
How can I clear everything out and start from scratch?

Hi All, my iPhone 5S is full of photos (1326) or so. however the camera roll is 827. there is an album named "My Photo Stream" which has 466 from My Computer and under it is "Shared" which has 12 from my computer. Can anybody help me to remove both these albums as there taking up a lot of space and I have tried everything to remove them!!!

On option is to open your my photo stream album in the thumnail view, tap Edit, tap all the photos, tap Share, tap Save to Camera Roll. Then import them to your computer using your usb cable (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083). A more convenient option is to use an app like PhotoSync, which will transfer all your photos from any album (including photo stream) to any of your devices (including your computer) over wifi by pressing a single button.
