How can I delete duplicate contacts on my Iphone?

I am using outlook and syncing contacts with my I phone.  A number of contacts have come up duplicated onmy I phone.
How can I delete a contact or re-sync to eliminate duplicates ?

    You can go to your phone contacts and go under the number you trying to erase and when you pull up there name by touch it hit the edit at the top of the phone on the right hand side,After you hit that go down to Delete contact it's going to be at the bottom of your phone.And that's it that's all you have to do.
    Okay when you get home and you hook up your phone to your computer well you know your itunes going to open up and say that your phone have contacts on it thats not on your computer are something like that make sure you hit no to not sync cause it's going put it back on there after you do that the first time and you go back and sync your phone it's not going to ask you that.
    Are you can go to the started menu at the bottom of your computer and type that person name in and hit deleted and when you sync your phone you don't have to worry about the duplicate of the contacts getting back on your phone after you sync your phone again,There so many different way people can do stuff it's what ever comfortable for you.

    The fact that those internal contacts lists aren't editable is an irritation to many. I've submitted feedback to Apple several times on this, asking that in a future OS release they should either
    Provide a way to directly access that list of 'Recent Addressees' and Delete unwanted ones, or
    If not that, then at least mode it so that addressses selected from that list bubble up to the top, therefore over time moving the unused ones down out of sight.
    Other have added their own ideas, and the more they hear on this topic the more likely a future fix will become. If you feel that you would like the change, then put together your best case for it and make your wishes known directly to apple via their established Feedback links:

    On the new MBAir, open System Preferences > iCloud
    Deselect the box next to Photo Stream then reselect it then restart your Mac.

    If you have an iPhone and have it set to keep the normal photo when shooting HDR photos the two image files that are created will be duplicates in a manner of speaking (same image) but the only duplicate finder app that detected the iPhone HDR and normal photos as being duplicates was PhotoSweeper.  None of the other apps detected those two files as being duplicates as they look for file name as well as other attributes and the two files from the iPhone have different file names.
    iPLM, however, is the best all around iPhoto utility as it can do so much more than just find duplicates.  IMO it's a must have tool if using iPhoto.

As far as looking at Date Added, well they are duplicates all put on at the same time. It isn't a matter of the title showing up later, or my having accidentally added the same song twice (say, from different sources or compilations). This is a problem with Apple I think because it just began a month ago and I changed no settings, nor did I do anything else. It just began to happen out of the blue. Anyone know about this?
